I enjoyed Episode 5 not as much as the others but it was still good. I thought when Ser Duncan said I pledge myself to you M’laud he was set then seen then half of the back of the Prince Baelor head I thought he’s done for as he was on to a sure thing. I’ve seen the trailer for the season finale and it looks really good.

So did you guys watch Episode 5 yet?

Yes and it was heartbreaking like you and Chris said. Wasn’t expecting it as I’ve never read the books but from a tv perspective it was done well. Just when we thought Ser Dunk had become part of the Kings Guard we see the that half Baelor heads gone and both my wife and I said he’s done for.

While Aegon Recoups unless his father tells him that’s it . He will hunt Ser Dunk down .

Next weeks finale looks good seen some footage on Emergency Awesome and Charlie breaks it down . It’s just a clip of it not the full show obviously.

I’m enjoying the episodes being 30mins long as I don’t get adverts so it goes all the way through. Is the collection of books on this show expensive?

I forgot during the watching the Episode the reason why Baelor has an end like he does it's due to me using his Son's Armor. Which is why the Helmet was so tight on his head in any other situation if he used his own Armor he would of been fine.

I heard that reading comments about the show on Reddit. He wasn’t expecting to dual so left back at Kings Landing. He would have made a good king and it’s a shame. His brother from what I can see or have read on YouTube it haunts him for the rest of his life knowing he killed his brother not intentionally. It’s his sons Aegon fault is that his name the one who thinks is an actual dragon.

Sol Dexter Ansell who plays egg is such an incredible actor . He is so likeable and lovable as a character. Bit how like like Derek was on stranger things . I forget the actors name . Both have huge careers if that’s what they want to do when they become of age and parents don’t have a say . It’s definitely CGI that his heads bald as I wouldn’t let anyone shave my kids head unless they wanted to without any pressure.

If only he didn't reach his old age. One of the biggest pieces of shit in GOT and I for sure loved seeing him get his by Arya. Not gonna lie because of this Show it really making me want to Rewatch GOT. When I got into it before I watching a whole Season in a day so all that info was frying my Brain. I didn't get to enjoy it like I should of maybe a Rewatch improves my love for it.

It’s a bit sad that everyone is blaming Ser Duncan . He’s a bit lost and his friend I don’t know his name is helping and naming his so Duncan . Climactic episode and my favourite one so far.

This episode has by far the best dialogue in the show. I was expecting them to have to stretch some out bc this epilogue ish part of the books is actually insanely short, but God damn I think this was a perfect adaptation of book 1. I think everything added that wasn't in the book was not just good but great editions. There's a few minor changes I wasn't as thrilled with, but I'm also questioning my own memories of the book in some cases lmao

Like for example, I have a distinct memory of it being ambiguous how much Maekar is okay with Egg leaving with Dunk. I thought Maekar agreed but then after Egg left, one of the last lines in the book is him saying "the hedge knight has abducted my son" or something which I interpreted as him just needing to save face bc everyone would call him an idiot for leaving his son to Dunk. But it could just mean his a liar as well, BUT I think I may have just made all that up bc everyone on reddit is acting like the ending with Maekar was a big change from the book lol so either they're all wrong or I'm mandela effected af lmao

But also the only thing I really have a desire to talk about after this episode is that bee casket. Bees up for this stud with his yellowjacket mustache

What a finale indeed for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. When GOT was great it had great Action and the Dialogue between Characters would hit their marks and the Finale did just that for me. I kinda want it to be Egg left without permission and eventually Maekar understands Dunk is the guy to raise him fully his way vs at Summerhall. I don't know how Dunk achieves that but it's going to be a wild ride to see it happen in Season 2 in a few Years. For a moment I thought Egg was not going to leave and they were going to do what Star Wars did to where Grogu got taken away from Mando and they got back together in Season 2.

I'm curious if season 2 they go right into the second book or not bc the way this season ends you assume (like I did when I finished the first book) that the next adventure will be in Dorne bc that's where they're going, but the second book skips forward a year or so and what happens in Dorne is just talked about in one-liners and they're back in the regular areas
