EPISODE #158 | COMMENSURATE
BT SPORT STUDIO | LONDON, ENGLAND
BACKSTAGE CORRESPONDENTS ~ JOANNA ROSE AND SIMON MILLER
COMMENTARY TEAM ~ JOHN GOODEN AND WADE BARRETT
RING ANNOUNCER ~ ANDY SHEPHERD
DARK MATCH: AIGLE BLANC VS. BOBBY GUNNS VS. BULLIT VS. CALLUM NEWMAN VS. CHRIS BROOKS VS. CONNOR MILLS VS. DAMIEN CORVIN VS. DANNY BLACK VS. DANNY JONES VS. DAVID FRANCISCO VS. DEREISS GORDON VS. DOVER VS. ELTON PRINCE VS. ETHAN ALLEN VS. GENE MUNNY VS. GREG BURRIDGE VS. ICARUS VS. IESTYN REES VS. JACK MORRIS VS. JAY JOSHUA VS. JOAO SANTOS VS. JOEL REDMAN VS. JOSEPH FENECH VS. JOSH HOLLY VS. KEZ EVANS VS. KID LYKOS VS. KIP SABIAN VS. KIT NELSON VS. KURO VS. LEON SLATER VS. LEVI MUIR VS. LEYTON BUZZARD VS. LUKE JACOBS VS. MIKE D VECCHIO VS. NICO ANGELO VS. RICKY KNIGHT JR VS. RILEY OSBORNE VS. TOM BILLINGTON VS. TOMMY KYLE VS. WILL KROOS VS. ZAK ZODIAC VS. ZOZAYA

An all DEFIANT battle royal would take place ahead of the official show. This match however would get off to a bit of an auspicious start thanks to "The Modern Classic" Josh Holly who felt the urge to get on the microphone and insult everyone in the match and everyone in attendance. This would backfire as Josh Holly would then be the first man tossed out of the ring. As the match wore on we'd see some relationships and teams working together as Icarus/Dover, Connor Mills/Nico Angelo and Pretty Deadly would all exploit their numbers at points. Two large powerhouses in the bout Bullit and Levi Muir would also have their power displays as they eliminated several opponents before eventually they'd eliminate one another. As the bout wore on we'd steadily get down to six as Deriess, Kez Evans, Kip Sabian, Mike D Vecchio, Ricky Knight Jr and Zozaya would be the last to remain. Following some back and forth action in a big moment Mike D Vecchio would hit an F5 sending Kip Sabian out of the ring while Kez Evans managed to shove Dereiss into Zozaya sending both men out of the ring. This led us down to three and much to the delight of the fans it would be Ricky Knight Jr who was victorious as he managed to eliminate Mike D following a superkick and counter an Evans cheap shot by hip tossing him over the ropes and to the floor!

Result ~ Ricky Knight Jr

As always our WWE UK Show opens with a recap of the events of the previous week's show. This video package would of course recap the Halloween Havoc event starting out with the latest update on the Elimination series and the elimination of the Selfish Generation. After this we would see clips of Session Moth defeating Hyan followed by Gunther's defeat of Steven Regal. The video would then close with Ilja Dragunov winning the Tower of London match to become the number one contender of the Commonwealth title. From here the show would officially open from inside the BT Sport Studio in London, England. With a small but lively crowd in attendance, Wade Barrett and John Gooden would hype up tonight's show before sending us to the ring.
MATCH #1: ELIMINATION SERIES
(Referee: Katie Walker)

THE SMOKING ACES (CHARLIE STERLING AND NICK RILEY) VS. WELSH DRAGONS (MARK ANDREWS AND MORGAN WEBSTER) VS. SUGE D AND CHARLES CROWLEY VS. SANITY (ALEXANDER WOLFE AND KILLIAN DAIN) VS. FOREIGN LEGION (FRANCESCO AKIRA AND LUDWIG KAISER)

The elimination series would continue to open the show and we was now down to 5 teams. This match would get off to a jump start thanks to two things. One was Amale taking matters to her own hands and hitting a thesz press on Danny Burch at ringside while in the ring Sanity jumped the match as they began to attack the other teams. Unlike some of the other matches in the series this one truly felt like it broke down as the Aces usual tactic of ducking out of the way would prove fruitless when both the Foreign Legion and Welsh Dragons took the fight to them. As the bout wore on we'd truly see Sanity begin doling out some damage with Killian Dain crushing Sterling and Riley with a suicide dive at ringside while in the ring Wolfe blasted Crowley with a running European uppercut. Continuing this damaging barrage Dain laid out the Welsh Dragons with a running crossbody before he'd throw Akira like a dart into the ring post. In the ring Wolfe landed a big tiger suplex on Kaiser before he and Dain would look to put away Suge D. As Wolfe lifted him for a suplex Charles Crowley hopped on Dain's back and tried for a crucifix. Dain backed up onto the ropes where Kaiser pulled down the top rope which sent Dain and Crowley toppling to the floor. In turn we would see Suge D counter Wolfe's attack with a small package for a shock count of three.

Shepherd: Sanity has been eliminated!

The crowd explode into cheers as The announcement is made. Suge D rolls out of the ring and snags Crowley in a big hug while a stunned Alexander Wolfe sits up in the ring. Suge D and Crowley dive into the crowd to continue their celebration
~ BAPTISM ~

A replay from Halloween Havoc is then played focusing on the Ripper's Revenge match. From here the cameras take us to the hallway of the arena where Teoman is standing by. Calling himself one step ahead of Ashton Smith at all times, Teoman follows up by saying he told Ashton that he didn't want to pursue this and now he's seen the consequences of his actions. With that Teoman says that the days of him having employees are over just like the days of him being in a cult. Instead now he has his family in the Ensanglante. So he'd like to introduce to the world his brother Bobby Gunns!
~ NOT DONE ~

A post show promo from Halloween Havoc then plays and it focuses on a livid Michael Oku following his bout with Giovanni Vinci. Saying that this is far from over and that tonight was only just the beginning for the suffering. Calling this whole situation personal and one which he intends to fully avenge Amira and make Giovanni Vinci suffer. Saying tonight was just a mere taster for Vinci for what happens when you push him too far. Michael Oku closes this promo by saying that he doesn't just intend to beat Vinci but to break him as well!
MATCH #2: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Artemis Ortygie)

SESSION MOTH VS. NATALIA MARKOVA

The second bout of the night would be a grudge match as Session Moth Martina took on Natalia Markova. With the bad blood between them it seemed that Martina very much continued to look to frustrate Markova with her fun loving antics. This would pay dividends as we'd see a frustrated Markova begin to make several mistakes which allowed Martina to begin to land some offense. This included a rolling cutter on Markova for a near fall, with Markova wobbled and stunned Martina would follow up with a diving DDT for a count of three.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Session Moth Martina!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Martina begins her celebration. As she dances at ringside a Livid Markova begins to flip out in the ring. Rolling to the floor Markova can be heard loudly proclaiming that she quits!
~ SUFFERAGE ~

giphy.gif

The cameras take us to an unknown darkened location where Aleister Black is standing by. Black despite what transpired at Halloween Havoc is in high spirits as he called his encounter and the beating he took from Finn Balor a small sacrifice in a much larger game. Aleister Black would continue by saying that he has little issue in putting himself through suffering in order to continue to walk his path because in his mind pain is an old friend. However he makes it crystal clear that just because he is at peace with the pain he suffered, he won't allow Finn to just get away with that!
~ DECISION ~

The cameras then take us to the office of "The Guvnor" Anthony Ogogo. There is a large number of security in his office separating the trio of Trent Seven, Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate. Ogogo is far from thrilled to have all three of these men in his office as he says this has gone on too long and he has three of the UK's top talent constantly in one another's way. However he has found what he calls in his opinion the best of a bad bunch of decisions. This is why at Showcase X these three men will compete in a triple threat match to end it all! As it will be losers leave WWE UK! In the meantime however Ogogo says he will embrace some of the chaos with this trio as over the coming weeks he will give these men the option to pick one another's poison!
MATCH #3: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Oscar Harding)

ORO MENSAH VS. BOBBY ROODE

A world's collide preview match would be the next port of call for the evening. This bout however would be more than just a preview as for Oro Mensah this was an opportunity to make a statement against a former NXT Champion. Fired up and looking to prove himself Oro Mensah would launch himself across the ring on several occasions against his opponent. The technician Roode in turn would continue to look to ground Mensah, as the bout wore on Mensah would pick up a few close near falls on Roode until Roode caught Mensah on a springboard and drove him into the canvas with a spinebuster. From here Roode followed up with a Glorious DDT for the victory.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Bobby Roode!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Bobby Roode has his arm raised. After celebrating his win, Bobby Roode walks over to the downed Oro Mensah and helps him up to his feet before shaking his hand in a show of respect.
~ WORLDS COLLIDE ~

The cameras then return us to the office of Anthony Ogogo and he is standing by with Simon Miller. Requesting this time to make an announcement, Ogogo follows up by confirming that two new participants have been put in place for the Worlds Collide Gauntlet match. These two will be from NXT Australia and they are Aaron Henare and Robbie Eagles! As Ogogo thanks Miller for his time, he is surprisingly cut short by Simon Miller. Miller says that Showcase X will be a historic event and Worlds Collide is shaping up to be one of the most star studded contests to date. Which is why Simon Miller would like to be considered as an entrant in the gauntlet! Ogogo says he would consider it but Simon has to understand he hasn't had a match in WWE UK so there are others he would have to consider first!

The crowd in attendance boos loudly as already standing in the ring is the European Champion Gunther as well as his associate Nigel McGuinness. While the confident champion stares stoically into the distance Nigel McGuinness demands that the crown in attendance silence themselves out of respect to the greatest European Champion in wrestling history. Proclaiming Gunther a dominant champion of which the wrestling world has not seen before, Nigel goes on to further say that Gunther is the personification of dominance and that his reign will only continue to be more dominant. However on top of his incredibly impressive reign, Nigel reveals that Gunther is someone who is truly keen and invested in the future of tomorrow. Saying that along with Gunther, Nigel has looked around and seen a bunch of unworthy pretenders in this locker room calling themselves wrestlers. This is why Gunther and Nigel have began to look to the future of wrestling and those who are truly looking to step into this ring with the honor and integrity befitting this sport. Which is why tonight Gunther and Nigel are out here to introduce the very first Young Lion to step in line and follow the Ring General and his teachings!

To the shock of the crowd in attendance the theme song of Steven Regal begins to play. His face bruised and his eye blackened from his battle with Gunther last week, the stoic Steven Regal walks down to the ring before climbing through the ropes. While Gunther stares at him, Steven Regal is greeted by Nigel McGuinness who shakes his hand. From here Gunther nods his head to Regal who falls in line. As Regal stands by Gunther's side, Nigel says that unlike a lot of other people ahead of Halloween Havoc last week they did not see Steven Regal as someone who was not ready or prepared for the task at hand. They instead looked at that contest as an evaluation of one of the few talents they deemed worthy to follow the ring general's lead. This is why following the match that Steven Regal's own father didn't believe he had a chance to win, Nigel McGuinness went and visited Steven Regal on his return to the UK performance center. Not only did he praise him on his spirited effort but he provided Steven with all he wanted in the first place and that was recognition and respect he deserved. Now under Gunther's tutelage, Steven Regal is not just a prospect kept on ice in the performance center. Instead he is now officially apart of the WWE UK roster! With that Nigel McGuinness raises Steven's arm in the air to boos while the cameras cut backstage where a disappointed William Regal watches on.
MATCH #4: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Chris Hatch)

MERCEDEZ BLAZE W/KANJI VS. SANTANA GARRETT

The next bout of the night would be women's action as the recently debuted Mercedez Blaze took on veteran Santana Garrett. This bout would be quite the technical back and forth contest with both women having their moments. The veteran Garrett in particular managed to go on offense thanks to her fast paced offence and managed to score a near fall following a diving hurricanrana. Garrett then would climb the turnbuckle once more but as she neared the top she would be distracted by the presence of Stevie Turner at ringside. This distraction would allow Blaze to connect with a rope hung cutter for the win.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Mercedez Blaze!

The crowd voices their displeasure as the announcement is made and a smug Mercedez Blaze rises to her feet. While Blaze has her arm raised by the official, a disappointed Kanji at ringside confronts Stevie Turner. The brash Turner backs her way through the crowd while Blaze leaves the ring and heads backstage.
~ OVER ~

Halloween Havov post show footage is played and it focuses on Joe Hendry getting stitches from the attack at the hands of Spike Trivet. Far from his usual fun loving self, Joe here is very serious as he remarks that Spike Trivet will learn that it takes a lot more than this to keep Joe Hendry down. Branding the last few weeks and his songs about Trivet good fun. Joe Hendry says that because of Spike Trivet and his actions this has gone from being just a little bit of fun to now becoming purely a personal matter. One of which Joe Hendry will get payback on when he gets his hands on Spike!
~ NEXT WEEK ~

The cameras then direct us to the office of Anthony Ogogo. Here the general manager is standing by with a couple of announcements for next week's show. Starting out by confirming that next week the WWE UK women's champion Raquel Lourenco will be returning, Ogogo follows up that revelation by confirming that Raquel has personally demanded a match with Katarina Leigh at the next showcase which Ogogo has made official. On top of that Ogogo confirms that next week we will also see another World's Collide preview match as David Finlay takes on Mansoor.
MATCH #5: BRITISH BULLDOG TAG TEAM CLASSIC
(Referee: Darryl Sharma)

HOUSE OF COUTURE W/ELIZA ALEXANDER VS. KACY CATANZARO AND KAYDEN CARTER

The British Bulldog Tag Team Classic would continue this week as The House of Couture took on the popular highflying pair of Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter. This would very much be a back and forth battle from the off with Kacy and Kayden flying all across the ring opposite the more hard hitting approach of Nina Samuels and Lana Austin. As the bout wore on we'd see Kacy Catanzaro put it all on the line as she landed a big suicide dive on Nina Samuels which took out both women. Meanwhile in the ring Kayden Carter would land a leaping enzuugiri on Lana. As Kayden then motioned to Kacy at ringside to go for her finish however we would see behind the referee's back Kacy Catanzaro would be shoved into the ring post by Eliza Alexander. This would distract Kayden and allow Lana Austin to roll up her opponent for a tainted count of three.

Shepherd: And the winners of the match the House of Couture!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Lana Austin rolls out to the floor. Here Lana is joined by Nina Samuels and Eliza Alexander for their celebration while Kayden Carter protests to the official in the ring.
~ CHALLENGE ~

The cameras then take us to the hallway where WWE Commonwealth Champion Kassius Ohno is standing by with Joanna Rose. Rose is quick to ask Ohno how he feels about his challenge at Showcase X Ilja Dragunov. With a smile on his face, Kassius Ohno remarks that this is exactly the kind of challenge and opponent he has been looking for this entire time. Calling Ilja Dragunov an opponent he has a lot of respect for and admiration for, Kassius Ohno says that it will be his honor to step in the ring and compete with Dragunov at Showcase X!
~ RETURN ~

Just before the main event can begin the cameras direct us to the locker room where Curt Hawkins and Nathan Cruz are standing by. Doing the talking for the two of them Curt Hawkins says that they are the most professional wrestlers and that fear not because the most anticipated segment in wrestling history will return next week as Curt Hawkins will once more hold the most professional challenge. Hawkins then follows by saying that while Cruz was unsuccessful last week, he will turn things around by being the winner of the World's Collide Gauntlet match!
MAIN EVENT: TAG TEAM MATCH
(Senior Official: Tom Scarborough)

EDDIE DENNIS AND ADAM MAXTED VS. AUSSIE OPEN

Finally it was time for the main event of the evening and this would be a non title clash as the Selfish Generation took on Aussie Open in what had become quite the personal clash following a brawl the previous week. More akin to a fight than an actual match as the teams battled it out around the ringside area much to the testing of the official's discretion. We'd see after a solid ten minutes of back and forth battling that the champions would be victorious following a Coriolis on Adam Maxted and a Mark Davis piledriver on Eddie Dennis.

Shepherd: And the winners of the match Aussie Open!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Aussie Open rise to their feet. Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis begin to celebrate their win while the official checks on the fallen Dennis and Maxted to close the show.

A grudge match will take place at Showcase X for the WWE UK Women's Championship as Raquel Lourenco takes on former general manager Katarina Leigh. This clash is a personal one with Lourenco and Katarina Leigh formerly being friends and allies. However with Raquel's title win and Katarina being stripped of her power, it seemed that Katarina's thoughts and opinions on her relationship with Raquel had changed. This would lead to a vicious assault from Katarina on Raquel which had led to her being out of commission for a few weeks. What will happen when these two finally face off for the title?
LOSERS LEAVE WWE UK

A high stakes contest between former team mates has also been confirmed for Showcase X. Now in an effort to restore order to the brand, our GM has put these three into a high stake losers leave WWE UK match in an effort to at least salvage one of their careers.

The elimination series will continue this week as we are now down to our final four tag teams. This is coming off of the back of the shocking elimination of the powerhouse pairing of Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe in the previous week's show. We are now left with the recently arrived pairing of The Smoking Aces who with the aide of their mentor Danny Burch, they have employed questionable tactics to get this far; the ever popular duo of WWE UK veterans Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster who continue to impress with their highflying abilities; the unlikely underdog pairing of Suge D and Charles Crowley who have swiftly won over the crowd with their antics and shocking elimination of Sanity; And the Foreign Legion of Francesco Akira and Ludwig Kaiser who have also recently seen the light as they look to fight the good fight. Which team will be the next to fall in the series?

We now know this coming week, the first selected prospect of the Ring General will make his official singles debut as a WWE UK roster member against young prospect Maverick Mayhew.
DAVID FINLAY VS. MANSOOR

A preview match for World's Collide has also been confirmed for this coming week as WWE UK's newest star David Finlay will take on NXT India's Mansoor. This contest promises to be a fast paced, back and forth collision between two top prospects. While Mansoor will be looking to make an impression on fans of WWE UK. For David Finlay this is his opportunity to pick up his first victory with the brand.
THE MOST PROFESSIONAL CHALLENGE

After a short break, back by popular demand will be "The Most Professional Wrestler" Curt Hawkins once again issuing his most professional challenge. Following a harsh start which saw Curt Hawkins drop matches to the likes of Angelico, Ilja Dragunov and Cara Noir. Hawkins as of late has been on an impressive winning run with three straight victories in his challenge. Who will accept the challenge this week?
OEDO TAI (BLAIR DAVENPORT AND JAMIE HAYTER) VS. MAFIA BELLA (GIULIA AND THEKLA)

The British Bulldog tag team classic continues this week and it produces one of the tournament's most anticipated clashes as of yet. Just which team will advance to the semi finals of the British Bulldog tag team classic?
STEVIE TURNER VS. KANJI

A late addition has been confirmed for this card following a small bout of controversy from this past week's show. This bout will see Kanji take on the recently debuted Stevie Turner. WWE UK
EPISODE #159 | 14/11/20

RECKONING
BT SPORT STUDIO | LONDON, ENGLAND
BACKSTAGE CORRESPONDENTS ~ JOANNA ROSE AND SIMON MILLER
COMMENTARY TEAM ~ JOHN GOODEN AND WADE BARRETT
RING ANNOUNCER ~ ANDY SHEPHERD
DARK MATCH: DANI JORDYN VS. CHRISTI JAYNES VS. KILIYNN KING VS. ALEX GRACIA VS. DREAM GIRL ELLIE VS. SOLO DARLING VS. FREYA THE SLAYA VS. VALENTINA ROSSI

Before the show can officially begin, eight developmental prospects from WWE would do battle in a scramble match. This would be a chaotic affair with these eight women all looking to make a statement would do battle at the same time in the ring. This bout would have it all from power moves to high flying to stiff striking as every woman in the bout had their moments. Towards the end of the bout the field would whittle down and in a surprise result veteran Solo Darling would pick up the victory following a magistral cradle on Dream Girl Ellie.

WINNER ~ SOLO DARLING
giphy.gif
Our show opens with a video package which details the events of the previous weeks show. This would start out with the shocking elimination of Sanity during the Elimination series. We would then see Anthony Ogogo confirming the losers leave WWE UK clash between the former British Strong Style teammates before finally we'd see the shock reveal of Steven Regal joining forces with Gunther. With that this week's show would officially open from the BT Sport Studio in London. With a small but lively crowd in attendance, John Gooden and Wade Barrett would hype up tonight's event before sending us to the ring.

Standing before a jeering crowd would be the WWE UK Champion Spike Trivet who was accompanied by his associate Ridge Holland. The champion is wearing a sharp, expensive suit as he removes his title and hands it to Holland. With a sneer, Spike Trivet snatches a microphone from our announcer before he begins to address the crowd. Branding this as a matter of respect. Spike Trivet would proclaim himself the Sovereign Lord of WWE UK. Telling the audience that it is time they all recognized him and provided him the respect one should when it comes to their lordship. This would only further infuriate the crowd which in turn angered Trivet further. Blasting the audience for being apart of the rot which has seen people think it is perfectly acceptable to disrespect him at every turn. Spike says that he has now sent a message with Joe Hendry to show why it pays to know one's place in this world and why you should respect your betters! Saying he used Joe as an example and he silenced that clown just like he will everyone else. Spike says that this brand is his and it is under his rule and no one will stop him!

The crowd begins to cheer as Joe Hendry's theme begins to play. Spike Trivet in the ring looks horrified as he stares to the stage but as the moments pass and there is no sign of Joe Hendry, Trivet begins to laugh. Reveling in what he calls the idiocy of these people to believe there is some hero in waiting to save them. Calling this the way the world works now as the WWE UK Brand is firmly in his cold, unforgiving grasp. Spike says just as Joe Hendry did and will continue to do so, WWE UK and it's fans will soon learn to take a knee in service and out of respect to their world champion! As Trivet continues to gloat, there is a roar among the crowd as Joe Hendry hops the barricade behind them and he is armed with a guitar. Neither Trivet or Holland are aware and Hendry enters the ring before spinning around Holland and shattering the guitar over his head! Ridge Holland falls in a heap while a stunned Spike Trivet takes a step back. His shock turning to rage Trivet charges at Hendry but Joe ducks under and hoists him up for a Hendry slam! Trivet hits the canvas with a thud while the crowd explodes into cheers! Joe then clamps on the Hendry Lock to Trivet in the center of the ring, security and officials begin to rush down to the ring while a screaming Trivet starts to tap out. Hendry releases the hold and steps out of the ring while an agonized Trivet clutches his ankle!
MATCH #1: BRITISH BULLDOG TAG TEAM CLASSIC
(Referee: Artemis Ortygie)

OEDO TAI (BLAIR DAVENPORT AND JAMIE HAYTER) VS. MAFIA BELLA (GIULIA AND THEKLA)

Kicking off the show would be a highly anticipated tag team clash in the British Bulldog Tag Team Classic as Oedo Tai took on the Mafia Bella pairing. This to no surprise would be a hard hitting clash filled with bad blood as commentary mentioned how these pairs had battled many times previously across Japan. This bout would go over the 15 minute mark earning it the five minute warning of it's time limit. We'd see in a big moment of the match Thekla hit a spear on the ring apron to Blair Davenport which put both women on the floor. Not long after Hayter would attempt the Hayterade only for Giulia to block it and hit the Northern lights bomb for the count of three.

Shepherd: And the winners of the match Mafia Bella!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Giulia climbs to her feet. She is soon joined in the ring by Thekla and the pair have their arms raised. Slowly Jamie Hayter pulls herself up to her feet. Hayter locks eyes with the Mafia Bella team and shakes hands with the pair while a seething Davenport takes a knee at ringside.
~ DEMANDS ~

The cameras take us backstage to the office of our GM Anthony Ogogo. Here the Guvnor is standing by when he is joined by Ashton Smith. Smith is all kinds of fired up as he says he needs to talk to Anthony about what happened at Halloween Havoc. Ogogo admits he totally understands Ashton's anger and frustration. Ashton counters that this was supposed to be all settled in a one on one fight. However clearly Ashton is still a little naive to believe that Teoman is capable of fighting his own battles one on one. Demanding a match with Teoman and Gunns for Showcase, Smith would be disheartened when Ogogo says that he will not put Smith in a two on one situation after what happened at Halloween Havoc.
~ CHAOS ~

Ahead of our next bout of the night, the cameras swiftly cut to a commotion in the locker room. In what can only be described as a chaotic scene we see a bunch of doctors and officials tending to the pair of Charles Crowley and Suge D. It is unknown what happened to the pair but while Crowley is slumped against a wall and responsive, Suge D appears to be knocked out on the ground. The officials can be heard commenting that Suge D will not be cleared tonight. Before officials can check on Crowley he pushes them away and says he will not allow them to fall as he will compete alone!

DAVID FINLAY VS. MANSOOR

A worlds collide preview match would be the next port of call as David Finlay took on NXT India's Mansoor. This would be a respectful clash between two talented upstarts which opened with a hand shake and then continued with some fast paced, chain wrestling. Both men would have their moments in this back and forth battle and come close to putting one another away. Mansoor would attempt a superkick on Finlay who managed to duck under before he'd catch Mansoor with a stunner! This would be enough to give Finlay the victory.

Shepherd:

The crowd cheers as the announcement has been made and Finlay climbs to his feet. Standing tall in the ring, Finlay then has his arm raised by the referee before he begins his celebration.
~ POISON ~

We then return once more to Anthony Ogogo inside his office. With a smile Ogogo introduces Tyler Bate as he says that Tyler Bate is the first former member of British Strong Style to pick the other's poison. Tyler thanks Ogogo and says that he had thought long and hard about what he was going to use this power to accomplish. Commenting that at first he debated fighting either Seven or Dunne himself. Bate followed by saying instead tonight he is going to use this opportunity to convey BSS' original message. This will be about the future of European wrestling as Pete Dunne will compete against Cara Noir and Trent Seven will take on Angelico! Wanting to watch this first hand, Bate reveals he will be on commentary for both matches!
~ IMPACT PLAYER ~

Walking through the hall after their defeat earlier in the night. The pair of Oedo Tai look to be heading to the parking lot when Joanna Rose stops the pair. Looking to speak to the two after their elimination from the British Bulldog Tag Team Classic. Joanna asks how the pair are feeling now. Blair Davenport immediately brushes off what she calls a stupid question while Jamie Hayter more diplomatically starts to discuss the match. Hayter calls Giulia and Thekla a pair of women she knows well and that they more than proved to be the tough fight she remembered. Hayter's respectful words are bought to a sharp halt when she is hit across the back with her own case by Blair Davenport. Hayter falls to the ground as a seething Davenport says she isn't here to be respectful.. She is here to succeed. A badly winded Hayter tries to crawl to a production crate but Davenport lands a vicious knee to her head driving her into the crate. Joanna Rose calls for medics and help while Davenport walks out of the building.

The crowd boos as Curt Hawkins stands in the center of the ring with a big smirk on his face. The smug Hawkins is today joined by Katherine Darcy who does the talking for him. Darcy proclaims Curt Hawkins as the most professional wrestler. Saying that lately Hawkins has shown his elite wrestling status as he has rocked up an impressive winning streak over everyone who has tried to unseat the most professional wrestler. Calling this challenge not just a star making opportunity for any and all who look to raise their profile by wrestling Curt Hawkins. But also an opportunity for Curt to establish his wrestling credentials by outclassing and besting everyone who stands in his path. This is why tonight once again after a short break, the most professional challenge will continue once again as Curt Hawkins challenges anyone willing to step up and face the most professional wrestler!

To the surprise of the fans and Curt Hawkins, WWE's backstage correspondent Simon Miller walks out from the back wearing gym wear. On his way down to the ring Simon Miller high fives several fans before stepping through the ropes and standing across from Hawkins and Darcy. A bemused Darcy tells Simon that while she understands that everyone wants to talk with the most professional wrestler but that now is most definitely far from the time and the place. Miller responds however that he is not out there to conduct an interview. The crowd begins to buzz as Simon removes his sports wear to show underneath he has wrestling gear. Miller says that the talking is over and instead he is out here to fight!

CURT HAWKINS W/KATHERINE DARCY VS. SIMON MILLER

The most professional challenge would then get underway to a very quick start as a fired up Simon Miller took Hawkins off his game with a couple of big shoulder tackles and hip tosses. While Katherine Darcy watched on in concern, Miller followed with a big clothesline. This would send Hawkins out to the floor in an effort to regroup. Miller would look to keep up this aggression but soon thanks to a distraction by Darcy. This would allow Hawkins to get back into the match and after a trip by Darcy which caused Miller to stumble, Hawkins followed up with the Taste of Pain to pick up the victory.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Curt Hawkins!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and a smirking Curt Hawkins climbs to his feet. Hawkins is joined in the ring by Katherine Darcy and the pair kick Miller out of the ring before continuing their celebration!
~ HIGH STAKES ~

Footage from earlier in the day is then shown and it focuses on a confrontation between Nathan Frazier and Nathan Cruz. These two heated rivals are very much face to face and nose to nose as they trade barbs back and forth. Mocking Frazier over his loss at Halloween Havoc, Cruz says that Frazier now can sit in the back and watch Cruz win the World's Collide Gauntlet. As this pair continue to jaw and Cruz continues to talk down to his rival until Frazier challenges him to a match next week. Playing on Cruz's temper and his arrogance, Frazier dares him to put up his spot in World's Collide for grabs. Showing his ego, Cruz would accept as Frazier walked off.

For the first time in over a year Kip Sabian appears on WWE UK. With a cocky smirk on his face, Sabian says that his time in the shadows is over and he is back to take it all! Saying this starts with the Worlds Collide Gauntlet match, as he officially confirms himself as an entrant in the bout. Sabian then follows by saying the days of Superbad are over and this is a brand new Kip Sabian. With this new Kip Sabian comes changes and that includes the fact that he won't be doing this alone! The camera then pans back to show standing behind Sabian with her arms crossed is Sadie Gibbs!

STEVIE TURNER VS. KANJI W/MERCEDEZ BLAZE

Women's action would then be the next port of call for the evening as Stevie Turner took on Kanji. As we've come to expect Turner she would start out the match by scanning her opponent to get her data. This would be a hard fought clash between the pair while a stoic Mercedez Blaze watched on at ringside. Showing a further improvement in her skills, Kanji would be more of a dare devil in this bout as she performed several impressive high flying moves. This would be until Turner managed to counter a springboard crossbody attempt and roll up Kanji with a handful of tights for a tainted win.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Stevie Turner!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and as Turner rolls to her feet. She wastes little time in landing a vicious kick to a kneeling Kanji. This puts Kanji down on the canvas and Turner begins to fire off several elbows on her. Mercedez Blaze just stands back watching this all continue when Santana Garrett rushes down to the ring. Turner darts out of the ring as Garrett slides under the ropes. From here Santana begins to check on the downed Kanji.
~ ANNOUNCEMENT ~

Following the match, the cameras direct us to the office of General manager Anthony Ogogo. The General manager is all smiles as he says that he has penciled in this time on tonight's programming to provide you with two updates for the upcoming Showcase X card. Remarking that he was not happy with the non finish at Halloween Havoc, Ogogo confirms that at Showcase X Giovanni Vinci will take on Michael Oku in a Clockwork Orange Match (Death Match). On top of this Anthony Ogogo confirms that Showcase X will also feature the first time clash between Finn Balor and Aleister Black!

Promo%201.gif

To jeers from the crowd Gabriel Kidd stands in the center of the ring with a microphone in hand. The frustrated leader of the Selfish Generation says that he is not happy right now. Remarking that since his arrival to WWE UK, Gabriel Kidd has been a man who has stood for taking what is yours and not giving anyone a chance to take that from you. However over the past few weeks, he has seen that those who have stood by his side and said they would follow in the exact same mantra have shown that is not the case. Instead the fact is they are content with complacency just the very same how others are. Saying that he tried to light a fire under them but he can see in turn this was the furthest thing from the case. Instead he has been saddled with a parasite who has fed off his success and a wannabe reality TV Star who is the ultimate never has been!

Entrance.gif

Just as the crowd begin to cheer Gabriel Kidd and his dressing down of the Selfish Generation, Eddie Dennis walks out from the back with a microphone in his hands. Dennis is not impressed as he climbs up onto the apron and enters the ring. Dennis says he finds it interesting how quick Gabriel Kidd has rewritten history to make it sound like he was always the star. Yet the fact is Gabriel Kidd was nothing more than a young boy who was following Doug Williams around and struggling to obey even the slightest order. It was Eddie Dennis' vision for this unruly man child which led to the creation of the Selfish Generation! Now Gabriel stands here acting like he was the leader when the truth is he i still the same man child he always was. Yet as disappointed as Eddie is to see that Kidd hasn't made any growth, Eddie Dennis is also relieved because it makes it so much easier for what is about to happen that Kidd is still just as Naive.

Entrance.gif

Just then Zack Gibson's theme begins to play and this diverts Gabriel Kidd's attention in the ring. As Zack Gibson walks out onto the stage, Adam Maxted springs into the ring with a dropkick to the back of Kidd's head. As Kidd goes down in a heap on the canvas both Eddie Dennis and Zack Gibson enter the ring. Collectively they and Adam Maxted put the boots to Gabriel. Hoisting Kidd in the air, Dennis then sickeningly holds him in the crucifix position and powerbombs him out from the ring to the floor! Kidd hits the ground hard but this pack of wild dogs aren't done. Seeking to dole out extra damage on a badly hurt Kidd, Gibson cranks on the shankly gates until security rush onto the scene.
~ SIT DOWN ~

A sit down interview hosted by John Gooden from earlier this week is then played. Gooden is joined by both Kassius Ohno and Ilja Dragunov ahead of their bout at Showcase X. There is a noted respectful tone between the pair during this interview as Gooden asks the pair how they are feeling ahead of the bout. Despite this respect the two men share it is clear that both are confident that victory will be theirs at Showcase X. To close the interview both men shake hands with one another once again before making it clear that when the match begins all the respect in the world vanishes!
MATCH #5: SINGLES MATCH

PETE DUNNE VS. CARA NOIR

Our next bout would be the first of two pick your poison clashes of the evening. As former WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne battled against the rising upstart Cara Noir. This match would be a tale of two stories as when Pete Dunne was in control he kept the contest grounded and looked to isolate a limb and work it over. Noir meanwhile would be more unorthodox and use his impressive athleticism to keep Dunne at bay. With Tyler Bate on commentary Pete Dunne looked to rap things up with a Bitter End only to be rocked with a bicycle knee strike by Noir. This allowed Cara to follow up with a brain buster for the big victory!

Shepherd: and the winner of the match Cara Noir!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Cara Noir rises to his feet. While Cara Noir takes his leave from the ring at ringside Tyler Bate applauds him and his efforts.
~ KILLER ~

killer-kelly.gif

A pre taped promo is then played featuring the WWE UK Women's Champion Raquel Lourenco. Lourenco is stoic as she addresses Katarina Leigh and her betrayal. Saying that she was blinded by success and loyalty to see the envy in Katarina's eyes. Raquel says the truth with Katarina was she was fine when the power and control was here. But now Raquel has made her name, Katarina has shown her insecurity and patheticness. Raquel then closes out this promo by promising that when she gets her hands on Katarina Leigh. She will show her the error of her ways and make her tap out!
~ WALK OUT ~

Post show footage from last weeks show is then played and it focuses on a solemn William Regal walking through the hall. Cautiously Simon Miller approaches William Regal in order to get a word with him in regards to the actions of his son. Regal shakes his head without saying a word to Simon Miller who takes a step back. Continuing his walk through the hallway of the building, William Regal eventually heads directly for the exit of the building where he takes his leave without even uttering a single word to anyone.
MATCH #6: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Darryl Sharma)

TRENT SEVEN VS. ANGELICO

The second Pick your poison clash would then follow as Trent Seven took on the rising prospect Angelico. Unlike the Pete Dunne/Cara Noir clash which was a back and forth battle of wills. This bout much to Tyler Bate's pleasure would be about Angelico with his fast paced, dynamic offense managing to frustrate Trent Seven and never letting Seven really put together any offense. Angelico would at points fly across the ring with several springboards on Trent Seven and came close to winning the bout on several occasions. Much to the crowd's frustration however the wily Seven would counter a roll up of Angelico and take a handful of the tights to steal a tainted victory!

Shepherd: and the winner of the match Trent Seven!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Trent Seven rolls out to the floor. While a frustrated Angelico protests to the referee, outside of the ring Trent Seven would begin trash talking the fans in attendance. This included him mouthing off to Tyler Bate at the commentary table but this would backfire as Bate popped him with a big punch. This would face plant Seven on the commentary table before he'd fall back onto the mat as the crowd exploded into cheers!
~ QUALIFY ~

Having picked up another victory tonight, a smug Curt Hawkins is walking through the hall when he spots Anthony Ogogo. Hawkins says Ogogo knows his credentials and all about his resume. Saying he thinks he has earned his spot in the world's collide gauntlet match. Hawkins tells Ogogo that he needs to be this match and that WWE UK needs to add him into this bout. Ogogo says he will give Hawkins credit, he has been on an impressive run as of late. However Ogogo just needs to see a little more from him which is why he has a very special opponent in store for the Most professional challenge.

The cameras then direct us to the hallway of the building where Millie McKenzie is standing by with Joanna Rose. Joanna Rose immediately asks Millie where she stands on the current turmoil with British Strong Style. A frustrated Millie shakes her head and says she has a lot she wants to say but for now she wants to get her head on straight about things. In turn Millie says she is looking to get back on the right track with her own career and confirms that she will be competing next week in a singles match against Session Moth.
MATCH #7: ELIMINATION SERIES
(Referee: Chris Sharpe)

CHARLES CROWLEY VS. SMOKING ACES (CHARLIE STERLING AND NICK RILEY) W/DANNY BURCH VS. THE FOREIGN LEGION (LUDWIG KAISER AND FRANCESCO AKIRA) W/AMALE VS. WELSH DRAGONS (MARK ANDREWS AND MORGAN WEBSTER)

The elimination series would continue this week albeit under auspicious circumstances as Charles Crowley would be going into this bout on his own. This unsurprisingly would be preyed on throughout the bout by the Smoking Aces who seemed to really sense blood in the water and lock in on the solo Crowley. Crowley to his credit despite not having a partner to tag out to would fight valiantly though this bout as at times he had everyone reeling. This included hitting a big neck breaker/DDT combination on Akira and Andrews. Sadly it wouldn't be long for the numbers to really play in effect and the Smoking Aces would pick up the win following the Ace High (Shatter Machine) on Crowley.

Shepherd: Charles Crowley and Suge D have been eliminated from the Elimation series!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and the Smoking Aces begin to celebrate their win. While the Welsh Dragons and The Foreign Legion recover at ringside we see Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain hit the ring. The duo ignore the Smoking Aces and pounce right on Charles Crowley. Wolfe quickly dops Crowley with a urunage and Dain then crushes him with a senton across the midsection. This rabid duo begin barking at Crowley that tonight was only the beginning.

Doug Williams will compete in World's Collide!
~ PROUD ~

Walking through the hallway after his earlier defeat, a dejected Simon Miller slumps down on a chair as he puts his head in his hands. Miller is soon however joined by Anthony Ogogo. The Guvnor of WWE UK says he is proud of Simon and what he tried to accomplish tonight. Giving him credit for stepping up in an effort to get noticed, Ogogo says that at the moment he cannot justify placing Miller in the match but what he can justify is giving Simon Miller another chance to earn his way into the gauntlet and that he will be putting something together soon!
MATCH #8: TAG TEAM MATCH
(Referee: Chris Hatch)

ENSANGLANTE (BOBBY GUNNS AND TEOMAN) VS. LEVI MUIR AND JACK MORRIS

Making their tag team debut would be the Ensanglante pairing of Bobby Gunns and Teoman. This pair would quickly establish themselves in this match as a technical pair of sadists who took a delight in tying their opponents in knots and trapping them in a variety of nasty submission holds. This would be an overwhelming and dominant display for the duo as Levi Muir and Jack Morris never really seemed to get out of the gate. After only a few short minutes Teoman and Gunns picked up the win following a tandem cut throat neck breaker on Morris.

Shepherd: and the winners of the match Ensanglante!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Bobby Gunns rises to his feet. The pair of Teoman and Gunns then have their arms raised as the crowd continues to boo.
~ RECONCILIATION ~

Footage from earlier in the evening is then shown and it focuses on Mariah May walking through the hallway. Slowly Mariah approaches the pair of Axiom and Carlos Romo where it is noted there is still some tension between the pair. Wanting her team to get back on the same page and be the cohesive unit they once was. May would then reveal she had just met with Joanna Rose and has some news for them. Knowing both men where disheartened to have fallen out of the elimination series she has got some news for the pair of them. This is that both Axiom and Romo will be given an opportunity to compete in a last chance Worlds Collide qualifying match.
~ HIGH STAKES ~

Cameras quickly rush to the hallway of the building where a heated argument and confrontation is in place. This includes Zack Ryder, Zack Gibson, Angelico, Cara Noir, David Finlay and Adam Brooks. These six entrants from the Worlds collide gauntlet match are jawing back and forth as Zack Gibson in particular is vocal in saying he is going to run the field. This would be until Joanna Rose would arrive on the scene. The broadcast correspondent would reveal that the GM has scheduled a 6 person match next week between these individuals with the winner becoming number 30 in worlds collide and the loser being number 1!
MATCH #9: SINGLES MATCH
(Senior Official: Thomas Scarborough)

STEVEN REGAL W/NIGEL MCGUINESS VS. MAVERICK MAYHEW

The final match of the night would be Steven Regal's first match under the leader of Nigel McGuinness and Gunther. Against Maverick Mayhew, this bout would be a dominant showing for Steven Regal. Not only would we see Steven hit a Regal Cutter and a Regal plex reminiscent of his father but he would also follow up with a vicious bridging tiger suplex. On the outside of the ring Nigel McGuinness would praise Regal and his efforts as he blasted Mayhew with a knee trembler. From here Steven clamped on a toe hold and face lock combination for a vicious submission victory!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Steven Regal!

The crowd boos as Steven Regal has his arm raised in the ring. Regal is then joined in the ring by a smiling Nigel McGuinness who proceeds to raise his arm in victory!

As Steven and Nigel remain in the ring, the theme song for the WWE European Champion Gunther begins to play. The ring general marches down to the ring and on his entrance to the ring he shakes hands with Nigel and then he follows by doing the same with Steven. With a microphone in hand Gunther starts by praising Steven and his efforts tonight. Calling Steven Regal a pioneer in this day and age as a young man who respects the traditions, honor and prestige of this sport just like he does. Saying that he hopes Steven Regal serves as an inspiration to what he has so far considered a pathetic generation. Saying that as a true Ring General he is there to lead and mold the talents of tomorrow in his image. That his way was the right way and not only would he continue to lead by example and mold the future of this profession but that he would continue to restore and rebuild the honor and prestige of the championship around his waist as the greatest European Champion in WWE history!

To the surprise of Gunther and the fans in attendance Harry Smith walks out from the back and down to the ring. On his way down to the ring Harry Smith grabs a microphone before climbing through the ropes. Standing across from Gunther, Harry Smith says that when he signed with WWE UK he made it clear that he was looking to establish his own identity and show the world that he was more than a failed multi generation superstar who washed out from WWE before. However over the past few weeks watching Gunther disrespect William Regal and then the European Championship. This has reminded Harry Smith of the one thing he won't avoid and that he is proud to be. He is the son of the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith and it was the British Bulldog who once held that Championship which Gunther dismisses as it's inaugural champion. Saying he respects Gunther and his abilities but that he can't standby and what Gunther disrespect the traditions of that championship and his lineage any longer! This is why Harry Smith has come out here to challenge Gunther for the WWE European Championship! Gunther stares Harry down and looks back at Nigel before saying he will only give Harry a shot if he can earn it and to earn it he will have to defeat Steven Regal next week! Nodding his head in acceptance, Harry and Gunther stare one another down as the show comes to a close.

WWE UK NEXT SHOW PREVIEW
PICK YOUR POISON

The Pick your poison special continues last week ahead of Showcase X. Last week we saw Tyler Bate have the power and he used his to focus on the future of the brand as he matched Pete Dunne to face Cara Noir and Trent Seven to take on Angelico. Now this coming week, we know that The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne will be in charge of selecting Trent Seven and Tyler Bate's opponents. The no nonsense Bruiserweight is always hard to predict at the best of times, but that is more so the case in his choices to pick Seven and Bate's opponents. Who will Dunne select?
THE MOST PROFESSIONAL CHALLENGE

The Most Professional challenge will continue as Curt Hawkins returns to the ring once more. However this particular challenge will have an added stipulation as the opponent has been specifically chosen by Anthony Ogogo. We know that this match will have the caveat that Curt Hawkins will need to be victorious in this clash if he wants entry into the Worlds Collide Gauntlet match. Just who will be the opponent selected to take on Curt Hawkins?
NATHAN FRAZIER VS. NATHAN CRUZ

Also set for this coming week's show will be a highly anticipated singles clash as Nathan Frazier and Nathan Cruz will finally face off in a one on one setting. These two have been back and forth for months now since Nathan Frazier made his WWE UK debut. Now this week they will have a chance to settle the score in a match which will see both men compete for Nathan Cruz's entry into the World's Collide Gauntlet match. Who will be victorious and advance to World's Collide?
ELIMINATION SERIES

We are now down to our final three teams in the elimination series. After weeks of competing we will nearly be in the final match in what has been a grueling series. The final teams remaining are the popular, dynamic pairing of Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster aka the Welsh Dragons; the unlikely but highly successful pairing of Ludwig Kaiser and Francesco Akira aka the Foreign Legion; and lastly the newest team on the block, a pair of opportunist gritty fighters Charlie Sterling and Nick Riley aka the Smoking Aces. Who will be eliminated this week?
ZACK RYDER VS. ZACK GIBSON VS. CARA NOIR VS. DAVID FINLAY VS. ANGELICO VS. ADAM BROOKS

Also set for this week is a high stakes six man featuring some of the UK Brand's most promising young talents. These six men will all feature in the worlds collide gauntlet match and will do battle in a preview here. This match will feature some high stakes which do affect the gauntlet as the winner of this match will be confirmed to enter the match at number thirty while the loser of this bout will enter at number one.
HARRY SMITH VS. STEVEN REGAL

A singles match has also been commissioned for this coming week's show and it will be a clash of generational talents as Harry Smith takes on Steven Regal. Regal of course recently shocked the UK wrestling world as he aligned himself with the European Champion Gunther. Yet with Gunther's constant mocking of William Regal and also his disrespect to the lineage of the title he carries, it was no surprise that this would rile up Harry Smith whose father was it's original holder. Will Smith be able to earn a match with Gunther with a win here?
FINN BALOR VS. JOE LANDO

With the news that Finn Balor will compete at Showcase X against Aleister Black. This coming week we know that Finn Balor will be in action. In a preview for Showcase X, Finn Balor will compete this week against a young local prospect named Joe Lando. Lando is a talented highflyer who has impressed fans in the area with his aerial escapades. But this week he finds himself in a tough position against the former WWE UK Champion. The question is, will Balor be fully focused on the task at hand?
TEAM KICK (TEGAN NOX AN DAKOTA KAI) VS. AUSTRALIA'S HOTTEST COMMODITIES (PERSIA PIROTTA AND INDI HARTWELL)

The British Bulldog tag team classic will continue to wind down this week as we begin to near it's final stages. Ahead of that two teams both of whom have been pegged as sure fire finalists if not outright winners of the tournament will do battle when Team Kick takes on Australia's Hottest Commodities. Which team will advance in the British Bulldog Tag Team Classic?

The Commonwealth Championship will be defended at Showcase X in what promises to be a hard hitting, technical classic. As the champion Kassius Ohno who has been hellbent on a mission to further build credibility to his championship will take on one of WWE UK's rising stars Ilja Dragunov. Dragunov of course earned this match with a victory at Halloween Havoc's event in the grueling Tower of London clash. Will Dragunov be able to continue to ride his momentum against Kassius Ohno? or will Ohno be able to retain his championship?
WWE UK WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
Raquel Lourenco (c) vs. Katarina Leigh

Pete Dunne vs. Trent Seven vs. Tyler Bate

A high stakes contest between former team mates has also been confirmed for Showcase X. Three of the founding members of WWE UK will collide as Trent Seven, Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate finally get to settle their differences. This trio of course was once a team as part of British Strong Style with the group holding WWE UK Tag Team Gold until Seven betrayed Pete Dunne. Since then we've seen a conflicted Tyler Bate look to break free of it all before coming to blows with both men. Now in an effort to restore order to the brand, our GM has put these three into a high stake losers leave WWE UK match in an effort to at least salvage one of their careers.
CLOCKWORK ORANGE
Giovanni Vinci vs. Michael Oku

A highly personal match has just been confirmed for Showcase X and it promises violence. As we know that Giovanni Vinci and Michael Oku will collide in what has been referred to as a Clockwork Orange match (Death match). These two have been clashing very much since the former WWE UK Champion Vinci's shock return to the brand where he seems to have set a target on Oku. Since then the battle has only gotten more personal with Vinci attacking and hospitalizing Oku's valet Amira. Who will finally bring an end to this violent feud at Showcase X?
FIRST TIME EVER
Aleister Black vs. Finn Balor

For the very first time a match of epic proportions will take place at the historic Showcase X. As we know this bout will of course see two of the WWE UK's biggest names collide as the recently arrived Aleister Black takes on Finn Balor. This bout has come about thanks to the actions of Aleister Black since his arrival to the brand as he seemingly set his sights on Finn Balor not in a mission of violence but in one of friendship. Seeking to awaken something dark within Balor it seems that Black has only awoken a rage within Balor who has sworn to put all his energy into taking out Black. What will happen in this first time collision?

MAGIC
BT SPORT STUDIO | LONDON, ENGLAND
BACKSTAGE CORRESPONDENTS ~ JOANNA ROSE AND SIMON MILLER
COMMENTARY TEAM ~ JOHN GOODEN AND WADE BARRETT
RING ANNOUNCER ~ ANDY SHEPHERD
giphy.gif
Our show opens with a video package which details the events of the previous weeks show. This would start out with the confrontation between Joe Hendry and Spike Trivet before the video would shift to Gabriel Kidd being betrayed and kicked out the Selfish Generation. After this we would see Charles Crowley and Suge D being eliminated before the elimination series to wrap up the video. From here we'd officially open up from inside the BT Sport Studio in London where John Gooden and Wade Barrett hype up the show before sending us to our opening match.
MATCH #1: ELIMINATION SERIES
(Referee: Tate Mayfairs)

THE SMOKING ACES (CHARLIE STERLING AND NICK RILEY) W/DANNY BURCH VS. THE FOREIGN LEGION (FRANCESCO AKIRA AND LUDWIG KAISER) W/AMALE VS. THE WELSH DRAGONS (MARK ANDREWS AND MORGAN WEBSTER)

Our night would kick off with the semi final bout in the Elimination Series. We was now down to our final three tag teams and with this smaller number of figures we would see the Smoking Aces were no longer able to hide out at ringside and wait to strike. This would be a very fast paced bout with bodies flying all over the ring. We would see all the teams at points take to the skies including in a surprising moment the big man Charlie Sterling hitting a plancha on The Welsh Dragons. As the bout waged on we'd see Danny Burch begin to look to get involved onto to be confronted by Amale. To cheers from the crowd Amale would attack Burch at ringside but as she chased Burch around the ringside area we'd see her stumble and crash into the ring steps. With Amale hurt, this distracted Akira in the ring and allowed Nick Riley to schoolboy him with a handful of tights for the win.

Shepherd: The Foreign Legion has been eliminated!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and the Smoking Aces quickly roll out to the floor. As they begin to celebrate their win, they are joined in celebration by Danny Burch. Meanwhile at ringside, Ludwig Kaiser begins to check on the fallen Amale.
~ CHALLENGE ~

The cameras quickly divert us to the locker room where the duo of Teoman and Bobby Gunns are standing by. The smug duo known as Ensanglante, very much seem to be full of themselves as they talk about Ashton Smith demanding a match with them last week. Mocking Ashton Smith and his plain refusal to quit. Teoman says he had Smith pegged as a lot of things, but foolish was not one of them. Teoman says that he and Gunns have decided that if Ashton Smith can find someone dumb enough to join him, then they will accept his challenge for Showcase X.
~ THE RIPPER ~

4bc7096eb382974ef654ebd6aeb5849721532ff0.gifv

A vignette then plays to hype the arrival of Blair Davenport. Saying that last week she flipped the script on a world which had attempted to typecast her. Saying that her alignment with Jamie Hayter was always one of convenience and when she saw weakness in her partner. She knew she had to strike! Calling herself a predator hunting through the grass and just looking for weakness. Davenport makes it clear that this UK Brand has been protected from people like here but now she is here, no one is safe from here. If she smells blood in the water she will go for it and she sees someone turtle up and show their belly, then she will strike. Branding respect and sentiment as weakness, Blair makes it clear that from this point onwards WWE UK will be forced to contend with an unshackled Blair Davenport!
On our return to the ring, the crowd in attendance are booing loudly as already in the ring is Curt Hawkins as well as Katherine Darcy. Darcy once more acts as the spokesperson for Curt Hawkins by welcoming everyone to the most professional challenge held by the most professional wrestling. Branding the opportunity Curt has been giving each week the truest opportunity and moment for wrestlers to grab the proverbial brass ring. Katherine Darcy says that his respect for the business is what has seen him give back with such a tremendous opportunity. Calling Hawkins the man who has given the likes of Cara Noir, Ilja Dragunov and Angelico spotlight so far, Darcy is quick to remind everyone of Hawkins current win streak. It is then she says because of the success of the most professional challenge, our General Manager has taken an interest and promised a special opponent befitting for this great opportunity to go against Hawkins. So with that said, Katherine Darcy calls out the challenger now to get this opportunity started.

MATCH #2: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Katie Walker)

CURT HAWKINS W/KATHERINE DARCY VS. ZACK SABRE JR

To much surprise and fanfare Zack Sabre Jr would be in action tonight as he was the special opponent lined up for the most professional challenge. While Hawkins looked to out muscle Zack in the early going, he would quickly be quickly be brought to the ground by the savvy Sabre. From here Sabre would very much begin to tie Hawkins in knots on the ground as he seemingly had hold after hold for various limbs. Katherine Darcy would provide a distraction at this point to Sabre and it allowed Hawkins to hit a running STO for a near fall. Unfortunately Hawkins was on the mat a little too long and he'd be trapped in the Jim Breaks armbar which forced Hawkins to tap!

Shepherd: and the winner of the match Zack Sabre Jr!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Zack Sabre Jr releases the hold. While Zack climbs to his feet and has his arm raised in the air while Curt Hawkins rolls out to the floor holding his arm.
~ POISON ~

Pre show footage is then played and it focuses on Pete Dunne standing in the parking lot. Dunne appears to be waiting for someone when suddenly we see Tyler Bate step out from his car. Dunne tells Bate he is here not to cause an issue but instead to tell him all about his match tonight. Crediting Tyler Bate for his creative decision to give him a match with Cara Noir last week, Pete Dunne says he is very much going to follow Tyler Bate's lead as he has a special opponent for him. Saying tonight Bate will compete for the very first time against Ilja Dragunov!
~ CHAOS REIGN ~

Ahead of the third bout of the night we are taken to the parking lot of the building. Here the pairing of Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain are standing by. This violent pairing are practically frothing at the mouth as in a frenzy they make it clear that last week's attack on Suge D and Charles Crowley was not an isolated incident or a case of them acting out. Instead Wolfe and Dain make it clear that was only just the beginning, as from this point onwards Crowley and D had better grow eyes in their back because they won't see Sanity coming!
MATCH #3: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Sandy Beeches)

MILLIE MCKENZIE VS. SESSION MOTH MARTINA

The third match of the night would be a singles match in the women's division as Millie McKenzie took on Session Moth Martina. This would be a short bout with contrasting styles as in one corner you had the no nonsense Millie McKenzie while opposing her was the comedic Martina. As this bout waged on we'd see Millie begin to get frustrated with more of Martina's antics. Yet just as it looked like Millie would finally have her way as she hoisted Martina up for a slam, we'd see Trent Seven out of the view of the official trip Millie. This led to Martina landing on top of Millie in a pinning position, while the official made the count, Seven would hold McKenzie's leg down making her unable to kick out!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Session Moth Martina!

The crowd reaction is mixed as Martina rolls to her feet unaware of the tainted nature of her win. While Martina begins to celebrate her win, a smug Seven walks backstage proud of himself.
~ STRONG STYLE ~

Returning from the back with a smug look on his face is Trent Seven. Yet as he passes through the gorilla position Seven finds a disgusted Pete Dunne standing by waiting for him. Asking Seven if he is really proud of himself, Pete Dunne says that Trent is proving himself to be even worse of a person than he'd considered before. Calling Seven a true parasite who feeds off of people and then casts them aside. Dunne says he is glad to have gotten the others free from his clutches. But he isn't here to talk about Seven's character, instead he is here to address Seven's match tonight as Trent will wrestle.. Pete Dunne!
~ A FATHER'S WISH ~

Footage filmed from earlier in the evening is then played and it focuses on William Regal making his arrival to the building. As Regal walks through the halls he makes a beeline for the locker room where he meets Harry Smith. After shaking Harry's hand, Regal says that he has come here to have a chat with Harry about his match tonight. Saying that while he has mixed emotions about his Son and his actions as of late, Regal says that his decisions are purely his own. This is why out of respect for Smith and their families, he tells him to hold nothing back and wishes Smith the best of luck.
MATCH #4: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Oscar Harding)

NATHAN CRUZ W/KATHERINE DARCY VS. NATHAN FRAZIER

A high stakes bout would follow as Nathan Cruz battled Nathan Frazer with a spot in the Worlds Collide gauntlet match being up for grabs. The crowd for this bout would be solidly behind Frazier who flew across the ring at Cruz as he constantly looked to bring their battle into the air. Cruz meanwhile seemingly had the game plan to keep Frazier grounded and we'd see him land a big dragon screw leg whip to ground Frazier at one stage. This would be until Frazier put it all to risk with a big hurricanrana which sent both men toppling over the top rope and to the floor. From here we'd see the pair continue to slug it out with Frazier launching himself at Cruz with a crossbody sending the pair toppling over the rail. With both men down neither would be able to reach the ring in time to answer the officials' count.

Shepherd: Due to neither man being able to answer the referee's count this match is a double count out!

The crowd audibly boo as the announcement is made while officials come down to the ring. Neither Cruz or Frazier are quick to get back to their feet. Katherine Darcy begins to check on Cruz as we see officials tending to both men.
~ SECOND CHANCES ~

The cameras then take us to the office of "The Guvnor" Anthony Ogogo. Ogogo shakes his head with disappointment as he says that he wanted a sole undisputed winner from that match. This is why neither Nathan Frazier or Nathan Cruz will at this moment be entered in the Worlds Collide Gauntlet match. Yet both men will get a second chance to earn their entry in the Worlds Collide match. As next week Nathan Cruz, Nathan Frazier, Axiom, Carlos Romo, Simon Miller, Ludwig Kaiser, Curt Hawkins and Francesco Akira will face off in an over the top rope challenge to compete for a spot in the match. Off the back of this, Ogogo confirms that next week will see an in ring debut of WWE UK's newest free agent signing.. "The Albanian Psycho" Rezar!
~ SEIZE THE DAY ~

A pretaped interview is then played as we see Giovanni Vinci sit down with John Gooden. During this interview Vinci is asked what his issue with Michael Oku is. In response to this Giovanni Vinci would comment that he has no issue with Michael Oku as a person. Instead he has an issue with what Michael Oku stands for. Calling people like Oku, Angelico and Cara Noir the so called new wave of WWE UK. Yet to him these men are the furthest thing from the future. Saying he is not on some delusional method to show everyone what the real future is. Vinci is here to simply do what he has continued to do since his arrival to WWE UK and that is thrust himself firmly into the spotlight. If that means crushing the dreams of so no hopers than that's what he'll do.
MATCH #5: BRITISH BULLDOG TAG TEAM CLASSIC
(Referee: Artemis Ortygie)

TEAM KICK (DAKOTA KAI AND TEGAN NOX) VS. AUSTRALIA'S HOTTEST COMMODITIES (INDI HARTWELL AND PERSIA PIROTTA)

Match five of the night would be a British Bulldog tag team classic bout as Team Kick took on Australia's Hottest Commodities. The crowd unsurprisingly would be solidly in favor of team kick here against the brash influencers. This contest would be a hard hitting, back and forth battle between both teams with each duo coming close to putting one another away. One big turning point in the bout however was Dakota Kai hitting an apron Kairopractor on Pirotta on the apron. With Pirotta neutralized Kai landed a big running kick to the jaw of Indi which allowed Tegan to follow with a chokeslam for the win.

Shepherd: And the winners of the match Team Kick!

the crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai begin to celebrate their victory in the ring. Meanwhile at ringside officials begin to check on the downed Pirotta.
~ I BELIEVE ~

The cameras then take us to the locker room where Joe Hendry is standing by. The local hero is all smiles as he says that he is here tonight to share some great news with the WWE UK fans. Because last week Joe Hendry showed the world what he is capable of when he made the WWE UK Champion scream like a little girl and tap out! Now Joe Hendry has the chance to do that yet again and this time with the title on the line as Anthony Ogogo has confirmed that at Showcase X Joe Hendry will challenge Spike Trivet for the WWE UK Championship.
~ COMEBACK TRAIL ~

The cameras then direct us to the hallway of the building where Doug Williams is standing by. The UK wrestling legend says he is thrilled to be making his return as part of the Worlds Collide Gauntlet and having such an opportunity to compete against the best talent the world has to offer. Yet before then he has one other opportunity he'd like to take up. Remarking that he has competed with the best pure wrestlers the world has seen bar one. Doug Williams says there is one thing he'd love to check off his list which is why he is challenging Zack Sabre Jr to a match next week!
MATCH #6: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Chris Hatch)

FINN BALOR VS. JOE LANDO

Ahead of his match with Aleister Black at Showcase X. Finn Balor would take on local competitor Joe Lando. This bout would be a dominant showing for Finn Balor who aggressively tore into Lando from the off. On commentary our team would note that this was an aggression from Balor unlike anything we had seen before. After only a couple of minutes of action, Finn spiked Lando into the canvas with the 1916 but rather than taking the pin he would climb the turnbuckles and hit the Coup De Grace for the victory.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Finn Balor!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Finn Balor rises to his feet. Balor doesn't celebrate his win as he simply shakes his head and leaves the ring while the official tends to Lando.
~ GESTURE ~

Footage from earlier in the night is then shown and it focuses on the Selfish Generation making their arrival to the building. This trio however comes to a halt when Zack Gibson locks eyes with Kip Sabian and Sadie Gibbs. With the history between Gibson and Sabian well known, Zack asks what he is doing here as if he wants another beating then they are in the right place. Kip however says that he understands the hesitancy from Gibson but here is here to offer an olive branch as he wants back in the fold. This is why he had a meeting with Anthony Ogogo earlier and he can confirm that both Adam Maxted and Eddie Dennis will be apart of the worlds collide gauntlet match!
~ WHY ~

Post show footage from last weeks show is then played and it focuses on Kanji making her way through the hall. As she marches through the corridor Kanji makes a beeline to confront Mercedez Blaze. Blaze is stoic as Kanji asks her what she was doing and how she could just stand by and watch her get attacked. Reminding Blaze they was supposed to be watching one another's backs. Blaze counters that she was watching and she didn't see anything that Kanji couldn't handle on her own. With that Blaze barges past Kanji on her way to the locker room.
MATCH #7: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Darryl Sharma)

TYLER BATE VS. ILJA DRAGUNOV

The first of our two pick your poison matches would be the next bout of the night as in a first time collision Tyler Bate took on Ilja Dragunov. To no surprise this would be a hard hitting back and forth battle between these two battle hardened warriors. In a match filled with big hits, high angle suplexes and back and forth exchanges we'd see both men truly risk it all in this bout. As the battle waged on it become clear that it would only take one big moment to turn the tide of battle. Bate seemed to have the contest won as he set Dragunov up for a Tyler Driver only to have Ilja counter with a backdrop. As Bate rolled to a knee, Dragunov would connect with Torpedo Moscow for the victory.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Ilja Dragunov!

The crowd cheers as the announcement has been made. Rising to his feet in the ring is a victorious Ilja Dragunov, after having his arm raised Ilja walks over to the downed Bate and helps him to his feet before the pair shakes hands.
~ STAND DOWN ~

The cameras then take us to the women's locker room where Santana Garrett is standing by. After weeks and weeks of back and forth between her and Stevie Turner, it appears that finally the usually upbeat Santana Garrett is all business as she addresses her issues with Turner. Branding Stevie Turner as an arrogant, conceited woman who thinks she can tread all over everyone. Santana Garrett says that it isn't often she pulls the veteran card but now she will as it's her time to beat the respect in Stevie Turner that she is sorely lacking.
MATCH #8: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Chris Sharpe)

PETE DUNNE VS. TRENT SEVEN

The second Pick your poison bout would then follow this evening as Pete Dunne battled Trent Seven. With the bad blood running rampant this bout was more akin to a brawl then a standard wrestling contest and to no surprise it didn't take long for the bout to break down and hit the ringside area. Dunne for most part would be dominant in this bout until the contest returned to the ring and Seven lived up to his self dubbed dirtiest player in the game moniker with a rake of Dunne's eyes. Seven would then continue his offense until Dunne landed a big forearm to turn the tide once more. The contest would continue to go back and forth until Dunne trapped Seven in a triangle choke and transitioned into a triangle arm bar forcing the submission.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Pete Dunne!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Dunne rolls to his feet. As Pete Dunne begins to celebrate his win, we see Trent Seven rolling out to the floor and clutching his arm.
~ YOUR MAKER ~

A pre taped promo from Katarina Leigh is then played. Sitting in a darkened room on her own, Katarina begins to talk about the WWE UK Women's Champion Raquel Lourenco and their upcoming match. Saying she is here to clear the narrative on this bout as this contest is not a case of former friends colliding. Branding her alignment with Raquel as one of convenience when Lourenco was just a pawn doing Katarina's bidding. Now Katarina says that Raquel has made their past alignment as a means of loyalty yet this blinded Raquel to the truth and this made her weak. Now Katarina is firmly in her head and will prey on that to become the next UK Women's Champion.
MATCH #9: SIX PACK CHALLENGE
(Referee: Tate Mayfairs)

ZACK GIBSON VS. CARA NOIR VS. ADAM BROOKS VS. DAVID FINLAY VS. ANGELICO VS. ZACK RYDER

The next bout of the night would be a high stakes match with worlds collide implications. This would be a six pick challenge featuring six rising prospects of the WWE UK Brand. To no surprise this would be a chaotic affair with bodies flying all across the ring as every talent looked to gain a critical advantage in worlds collide. During the chaos of the match we would see several of the talents take to the skies and risk it all with Angelico in particular landing a huge suicide dive onto Ryder and Finlay. As the bout waged on we'd see Cara Noir also bust out a big senton over the top rope out onto several of the competitors. During the final moments we'd see Adam Brooks hit a cradle DDT on Ryder but before he could make the pin Gibson would roll up Brooks with a handful of tights for a tainted win.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Zack Gibson!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Zack Gibson quickly rolls out to the floor. While a smirking Gibson raises his arm in the air, a disheartened Adam Brooks hits the canvas knowing he is now number one.
~ RIPPED ~

Quickly the cameras rush backstage to the entrance of the building. Here we see a bunch of medics and officials on the scene as they begin to tend to Mariah May. Team White Wolf quickly rush onto the scene as well to check on their stablemate while in the distance several members of security are holding Blair Davenport at bay. Davenport is smirking confidently while an angered Anthony Ogogo rushes onto the scene. Recognizing what has happened, Ogogo demands that Blair Davenport be removed from the building instantly.
~ ADVERSITY ~

Just ahead of the main event of the evening, we are taken to the locker room where a dejected Adam Brooks is met by Welsh Dragons. Both Andrews and Webster offer Brooks their condolences for his defeat in the high stakes six man match moments ago. Nodding his head and thanking the pair, Brooks says that while he could be upset it's almost poetic. Saying his career has been one which is full of adversity, Brooks says that entering at number one in worlds collide isn't anything out of the ordinary. But just like he always has done, he will rise above this and he will win Worlds Collide!
MAIN EVENT: SINGLES MATCH
(Senior Official: Thomas Scarborough)

HARRY SMITH VS. STEVEN REGAL W/NIGEL MCGUINNESS

The main event of the night would see generational talents collide as Harry Smith took on Steven Regal. With Nigel McGuinness in his corner Steven Regal was aggressive from the off and used several European uppercuts to back Smith up. As the bout wore on we'd see both men have some very different approaches with Steven looking to ground and stretch his much larger foe while Smith in turn looked to out muscle and throw his smaller opponent around. In the end it would be Smith who had the most success and after a big Saito suplex he would finish Regal with a running powerslam!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Harry Smith!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Harry Smith climbs to his feet in the ring. As Harry Smith has his arm raised by the official, Nigel McGuinness pulls Steven Regal under the ropes and out to the floor. While Smith stands tall in the ring, The European Champion Gunther walks out onto the ramp and stares down at Smith as the show comes to a close.

Honestly, first of all, huge credit to you for sticking with this project. It’s one I’ve genuinely enjoyed following ever since WC, and the fact you’re now building towards your tenth Showcase is kind of wild. That level of consistency is no small feat, especially with the depth you’re juggling.

I know we’ve spoken about Gabe Kidd before. I’m personally a fan, so seeing him dropped is disappointing. At the same time, I actually think it adds a layer of realism to the world you’re building. Not every “dream hire” works out, and that unpredictability makes the roster feel more alive.

On the flip side, ZSJ coming in through the Professional Challenge is such a perfect payoff. Using it slowly to introduce someone of that calibre just elevates it further.

I know you love a multi-person match, so you must have had a lot of fun with the Elimination Series, and it really came across. I’ve found this whole concept a really fun read. It may exist in some form elsewhere, but I haven’t seen it used like this in a long time, so it felt fresh and creative. Also, is this Amale being written off? It felt like a pretty deliberate spot.

The Frazer and Cruz double count-out leading into a second chance battle royale is interesting. I’m curious how that first match tension carries into the dynamic next week, whether they implode or form a temporary understanding. I also assume Rezar’s debut is separate from the gauntlet. I’m really interested to see how you define him in this world, because he’s pretty much a blank canvas.

Seeing Giovanni Vinci here made me a bit sad given real life, but I’m glad he’s been allowed to reach his full potential in your universe. You’ve got such a strong roster that balancing who to build and who to maintain must be incredibly difficult. Vinci has that established prestige, but I do think Michael Oku has really risen through the ranks. I still remember his match with Kenny Williams in your project. I don't think I've ever read a Clockwork Orange match before, so can't wait for that.

I’ll be honest, the British Bulldog Tag Tournament does feel like it’s been running a while now. I wonder if it might have landed even stronger as a more contained, standalone series, especially with how stacked your weekly shows already are.

I really like what you’ve done with Joe Hendry. This version feels much closer to his BritWres persona rather than the more polished version we’ve seen in TNA and NXT. Him versus Spike Trivet feels like a proper clash of personalities, and that could be one of the most entertaining matches on the card.

Bálor versus Aleister Black sounds like a perfect Showcase match. No surprises with the result here, but I did like the more aggressive edge to Bálor, as it adds a bit more intrigue going in.

Both Tyler Bate versus Ilja Dragunov and Pete Dunne versus Trent Seven back to back is such a strong in-ring stretch. Good booking, and an interesting preview for the British Strong Style showdown.

Speaking of multi-man chaos, the Six Pack Challenge. I do feel like Cara Noir has been missing a bit of presence lately, but I can’t say I’m disappointed with Zack Gibson picking up the win. I still remember his singles run in DEFIANT and I’ve always thought he’s an underrated solo act. Hopefully this is the start of something bigger for him.

The main event was a really nice touch. I’ve always liked Harry Smith, and it’s one of those “what could have been” cases in real life. Him versus Regal Jr. is a really cool generational clash, and the GUNTHER stare-down at the end is such a strong closing image. That match could be something really special, and honestly, I think you’ve done a great job elevating the European Championship into something that feels genuinely prestigious.

Also worth mentioning is how Blair Davenport feels like a major threat - that attack angle was brutal and effective. SANITY feel properly unhinged again, which is great to see, and the Selfish Generation and Kip Sabian thread is quietly becoming one of the more intriguing background stories. The show overall had a really strong sense of forward momentum throughout.

All in all, this felt like a really well-balanced show. It had a mix of strong in-ring action, character progression, and clear direction towards both Showcase X and Worlds Collide.

Really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review bro and honestly couldn't have said it better myself. Feels like it was only yesterday in some ways that this project was coming together. So totally agree to be nearing Showcase 10 is absolutely mad, I wouldn't have expected to come along this far but I'm definitely thrilled to be here! I know especially from our discussions the Gabriel Kidd thing was a real abrupt shift. I did as we spoke of previously have some strong plans for Kidd but honestly I'd just been so put off the idea with what I'd seen from his AEW run. That I felt a change of course was warranted and the good news was Gibson fit right into the slot and he was someone I was featuring strongly so it wasn't a massive shift. It was unintentional but it does work out in a real life sense as you mentioned with not every indy star making their niche in WWE.

I'm glad you liked ZSJ stepping up to face Hawkins. It wasn't intentional but for sure the Hawkins challenge has been one of the most fun segments each week to write. So I'm glad to see you liked using it as a tool for a special appearance like that. The elimination series I think was used in a smaller scale in the WWE ECW once before but I don't recall a tag team one ever being done before. I didn't plan for that to write off Amale with the spot but I didn't see in hindsight how big it was. This maybe something I run with a little bit over the coming weeks! The second chance match and double elimination by Frazier/Cruz I wasn't sure how that would be perceived TBH. But I thought it added a fun little wrinkle and I do have some decent plans for the match stewing already :) as for Rezar TBH that was a very recent creative idea I had. It is separate from the gauntlet but I thought rather than space the show further to include it there.

I do agree with you on Vinci there was a lot of missed potential there IRL. So I am thrilled to be able to do my own interpretation of his character as we speak. That Oku/Williams story and I remember the previous Noir gimmick I did were both turning points in my booking. So I'm really happy that with Oku I have turned a corner. If I'm completely honest coming out of the euro title tournament. The four call ups of Oku/Noir/Angelico and Gunther. I felt position wise that Oku may have been the one lowest on the card but instead in a pleasant surprise he's truly risen the ranks and is just behind Gunther. I do agree in hindsight the Bulldog tag classic has fallen in the shuffle here. I do intend to post an updated tournament standing soon but it has definitely taken a back burner unfortunately. Thrilled you like my work with Hendry so far and the build with him and Trivet. Same with Black/Balor both of which are matches I like a lot. Also I do appreciate the shout out on Dunne/Bate/Seven as the pick your poison trio format was something I created back in PWR funny enough.

Regarding Cara Noir, I can totally see where you are coming from. The build to this showcase has been a busy one I know and Noir most definitely is one name who has fallen a little in the shadows. This is something I am making little points to rectify such as him getting a clean win over Dunne the week prior. But I will continue to work to recapture some of his early magic. Gibson as you know is someone who I once had big plans for but with a lot of shuffling during Speaking Out, he did lose out on my original plans. So it's great to be rehabbing him here and building him up. Totally agree on the Harry Smith comments and like you, I thought the match with him and Regal was a fun clash on paper. Especially to build to him and Gunther. Really happy to see my work with Blair so far is a hit. Honestly this is another second chance for me as I did bungle my use of her in the early days. So looking forward to redeeming it here. Same can be said for Sanity and Kip Sabian who I'm please in their returns have also come off well. Thank you once again for the review my dude, really appreciate you taking the time to do so :)

In some surprising news following this past weeks show. It has been confirmed that Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta aka Australia's Hottest Commodities have finished up with WWE UK. While this is a big blow to WWE UK who have strongly featured the duo as part of their women's division. It is believed this was a creative decision made higher up the totem pole with the pair instead set to head to NXT Australia in an effort to further bolster their women's division. It has also been said that top brass have a lot of faith in this pair and see them as future players on the main roster.

The Elimination series will also come to an end this coming week as we finally get down to two teams. After weeks and weeks of tag team action, this week we will see a clash between a pair of teams which couldn't be more difference. On one side is the spirited, popular, high flying pairing of Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster while standing against them will be the brash, no nonsense pairing of Charlie Sterling and Nick Riley. Which team will earn their shot at tag team gold?
BLAIR DAVENPORT VS. CHRISTI JAYNES

Following her controversial actions over the previous couple of weeks. This coming week will see the singles debut of "The Harrogate Ripper" Blair Davenport. A technical master class and dream match has also been promised for this coming week. Now noted to be contested under World of Sport rules this bout will see Doug Williams, a pioneer of the UK independent grappling scene take on the sports present in Zack Sabre Jr. This contest following the traditional mountevans rules meaning that the bout will be contested over a series of rounds with the victor being determined by 2 pinfalls, 2 submissions or a knockout.
PICK YOUR POISON ROUND 3

The ongoing saga between the former members of British Strong Style will continue this week as Trent Seven will finally get his turn to decide the fates of both Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate. Having been forced to battle Angelico and Pete Dunne over the previous weeks to mixed results. This series has also seen some shocking upsets with Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne being bested by Ilja Dragunov and Cara Noir respectively. What will Trent Seven have in store for Dunne and Bate?
SECOND CHANCE CHALLENGE

NATHAN CRUZ VS. NATHAN FRAZIER VS. AXIOM VS. CARLOS ROMO VS. SIMON MILLER VS. LUDWIG KAISER VS. CURT HAWKINS VS. FRANCESCO AKIRA

With Showcase X drawing near and the field now nearly fully confirmed. We now know that eight WWE UK talents who have all come up short in various matches over the past few weeks will compete in an over the top rope battle royal to claim a spot in worlds collide. The entrants set for the bout include Nathan Cruz and his rival Nathan Frazier who both got counted out against one another this past week; Axiom and Carlos Romo, a tag team who have been at loggerheads as of late; Francesco Akira and Ludwig Kaiser, another tag team recently eliminated from the elimination series; Simon Miller, a backstage interviewer for the brand looking for his chance to compete on a big stage and finally the veteran Curt Hawkins. Who will advance to Worlds Collide?
REZAR VS. DANNY BLACK

A surprising debut has also been penciled in for this coming weeks show. This debut will be for a recent WWE UK signing who was once a prolific NXT and RAW tag team competitor and champion. Because we know that going it alone in singles action will be "The Albanian Psychopath" Rezar. This brutish monster will be facing new ground as a singles competitor while he battles spirited youngster Danny Black. What can we expect from the debut of Rezar?
SANTANA GARRETT VS. DANI JORDYN

Finally penciled in for this coming week will be a singles match in the women's division. As wrestling veteran Santana Garrett will step into the ring against NXT standout Dani Jordyn. Garrett spoke up this week in a break from her usual smiling and upbeat figure to voice her concerns about the attitudes of some of the recent WWE UK Women's division additions. Now this week she will have a chance to humble a woman who calls herself a certified mean girl. With Stevie Turner looming in the background however, is Santana fully focused on this bout?

While Paige has been out of the ring for a long time due to injuries some of which are noted to be career threatening. Reports do indicate that Paige has never given up hope of making a potential return once she is cleared. However in the meantime she has been looking at other career options. This includes requesting some time at Showcase X to make an announcement regarding the WWE UK Brand. What will her announcement be?
WWE COMMONWEALTH CHAMPIONSHIP
Kassius Ohno (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov

WWE WOMENS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Bayley and Sasha Banks (c) vs. BRITISH BULLDOG TAG TEAM CLASSIC WINNERS

As the weeks fly by we finally come close to determining just who will be the winners of the second ever British Bulldog Tag Team Classic. This year for the first time ever it was decided the field would be strictly all women's tag teams with 32 teams starting out and competing for a chance to challenge for the WWE Women's tag team titles at Showcase X. With Sasha Banks and Bayley believed to be watching this tournament closely over the past few months. We know now that they will face either Team Kick (Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox), Xia Brookside and Candy Floss, The House of Couture (Nina Samuels and Lana Austin) or Mafia Bella (Giulia and Thekla) at Showcase X. Which team will be victorious and challenge for the WWE Women's tag team championships?
WWE UK TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Aussie Open (Kyle (C) VS. Smoking Aces (Nick Riley and Charlie Sterling) or Welsh Dragons (Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster)

Another tag team series which has gone on over the past few months has been the elimination series. As part of Aussie Open's quest to firmly establish that they are the elite tag team not just in the UK but through the whole world. A challenge was laid down by GM Anthony Ogogo for the WWE UK tag teams to step up and compete in the Elimination Series. Over the weeks we have seen the teams be whittled down one by one until now we are just down to two teams neither of whom have battled Aussie Open previously. Which team will win the series and face Aussie Open at Showcase X?
EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Gunther (c) VS. Harry Smith

Since his arrival to WWE UK and victory in the WWE European championship tournament. There has not been a more dangerous, dominant and intimidating force in WWE UK that compares to Gunther. From his stoic, remorseless demeanor to his downright punishing, brutality in the ring. Gunther has not only took on and beaten some of the best WWE UK has to offer but he has also recently in his quest to restore tradition beaten several former WWE European champions. However Gunther's comments and dismissal of the European title's lineage would soon draw out a surprising challenger. This being Harry Smith who of course was the son of the inaugural champion. Taking exception to Gunther's comments and his disrespect for the title his father held. Smith recently beat Gunther protege Steven Regal to earn this shot. Can Smith follow in his father's footsteps and become the European Champion?
WWE UK CHAMPIONSHIP
Spike Trivet (c) vs. Joe Hendry

Set to main event Showcase X will be our WWE UK Championship match. The champion of course is the reviled and controversial figure Spike Trivet. A man notorious for his willingness to take any short cut afforded to him while opposing him will be a popular figure in the brand this being Joe Hendry. The Scottish standout has been a popular figure since his arrival at Showcase Sydney and has recently began to clash with Spike over several songs that he has sung about the champion. In turn we would see Spike Trivet launch a vicious assault on Hendry with the assistance of Ridge Holland which left Joe bloodied. In turn Hendry however would return the favor of his own with an attack on Spike and Holland which ended with Hendry trapping Spike in a Hendry lock and forcing the champion to tap out. Now with the match made official can Hendry repeat this and make Spike submit to become the WWE UK Champion?

BONES

BT SPORT STUDIO | LONDON, ENGLAND
BACKSTAGE CORRESPONDENTS ~ JOANNA ROSE AND SIMON MILLER
COMMENTARY TEAM ~ JOHN GOODEN AND WADE BARRETT
RING ANNOUNCER ~ ANDY SHEPHERD
giphy.gif
Our show opens with a video package which details the events of the previous weeks show. This would start out with the surprise appearance of Zack Sabre Jr and his win over Curt Hawkins before the video would move to Team Kick defeating Australia's Hottest Commodities. Following a recap of the Pick your poison matches, the video finally ended with Harry Smith defeating Charlie Dempsey. With that this week's show would officially open from inside the BT Sport Studio in London. Here Wade Barrett and John Gooden would welcome us to the show before sending us to the ring for our opening bout.
MATCH #1: ELIMINATION SERIES
(Referee: Darryl Sharma)

THE WELSH DRAGONS (MARK ANDREWS AND MORGAN WEBSTER) VS. THE SMOKING ACES (NICK RILEY AND CHARLIE STERLING) W/DANNY BURCH

Opening the show would be the final match in the Elimination Series as we was now down to our last two teams. This bout would very much be a clash of styles and methods because the Smoking Aces seemingly had a game plan to divide and conquer as they looked to ground their faster opponents and keep them from tagging out frequently. The Welsh Dragons meanwhile when on offense would fly all over the ring and use quick double teams. This bout would mainly be in the Aces favor however as not only did they use some questionable tactics perhaps but also Danny Burch would provide several distractions and assistances at ringside for his team. This would be until in a huge difference making moment Morgan Webster bit the bullet and launched himself as the illegal man with a huge senton over the top rope onto everyone in the match including Danny Burch. With everyone down Charlie Sterling having only been glanced by the blow would toss Andrews into the ring before setting him up for a brainbuster, yet Andrews managed to counter and hit a stun dog millionaire! With the crowd on their feet, Andrews would then hit a shooting star press for the win!

Shepherd: And the winners of the match... The Welsh Dragons!

The crowd are on their feet as they cheer loudly for the Welsh Dragons. Despite being winded and short of breath Mark Andrews climbs to his feet where our official raises his hand. Stumbling back onto the ropes, Andrews sees his partner Morgan Webster slowly roll under the ropes and into the ring before the pair hug in celebration. As the Dragons begin to celebrate, they are soon joined in the ring by the WWE UK Tag Team Champions Aussie Open. The two teams stare down with one another before shaking hands.
~ NOW WE PLAY ~

The cameras then take us to the hallway of the building where Michael Oku is standing by with Joanna Rose. For this interview Michael Oku would talk about his match with Giovanni Vinci at Showcase X. Reminding everyone that he did not start this saga with Giovanni Vinci, Michael Oku says that he was just content with working his way up the ladder and making his name in the brand. Yet it was Giovanni Vinci who elected to make a personal issue with him and now Vinci will face the consequences of his actions but it won't just be his actions to him that Vinci pays for. With that Oku is joined by Amira who makes it clear that they are coming for Vinci at Showcase X!
~ DEMONS ~

rZHOGX.gif
A pre tape then plays of Finn Balor in a darkened room. All business in this promo and cutting a stoic figure Finn Balor says that over the last few weeks people have asked what has happened to Finn Balor and if Aleister Black is in his head. Saying that Aleister Black is not in his head but that people are right, there has been a difference in Finn Balor as of late. Saying that while Black is not in his head, he had done Finn Balor a kindness and awakened something deep inside of Finn Balor. Something that Finn Balor will be happy to unleash at Showcase X.
MATCH #2: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Tate Mayfairs)

REZAR VS. DANNY BLACK

Making his in ring debut for WWE UK this week would be "The Albainian Psycho" Rezar. Taking on WWE UK PC trainee Danny Black, this bout would be as dominant of a showcase as we've seen for a debut thus far. Starting from the lock up in which the larger Rezar backed Black up into the corner before biel tossing him across the ring. It seemed that every time Rezar had a hold of Black he would throw him across the ring either with an overhead choke toss or with a fall away slam. After rag dolling Black on several occasions, Rezar snatched Black from the canvas and deadlifted him into the air before driving him down with a thrust spinebuster. From here Rezar would make the cover for the win.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Rezar!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Rezar climbs to his feet. Seemingly not done with his opponent Rezar would press Black over his shoulders in the military press position before throwing him over the top rope and crashing to the floor. With Black taking a nasty spill to the floor, Rezar paces back and forth while the official calls for medical assistance.
~ LEGIONAIRES ~

The cameras then take us to the hallway of the building where the Foreign Legion are standing by with Joanna Rose. With one of their members notably absent, Ludwig Kaiser is quick to explain that Amale has been advised to stay home for a couple of weeks until cleared by the concussion protocol. From here Kaiser and Francesco Akira make it clear that they have unfinished business which they intend to handle with the Smoking Aces before they turn their attention to the second chance match tonight. With both men being entered in the battle royal they say tonight is just business for them and neither will hold it against the other for their victory.
~ BLOOD BORN ~

Quickly the cameras pull away from the previous interview due to a commotion down the hall. With the camera crew rushing down the hall we see security and officials also rushing down onto the scene. As the camera crew get to the commotion we see Ashton Smith launch himself over several security guards to tackle both Bobby Gunns and Teoman. This would cause everyone to take a spill to the floor. As Ashton Smith struggled to his feet, he would be pulled away by security as a livid Gunns and Teoman rise to their feet.
MATCH #3: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Katie Walker)

BLAIR DAVENPORT VS. CHRISTI JAYNES

Another debut would take place in the third bout of the night as Blair Davenport made her singles debut against independent standout Christi Jaynes. This bout would be a dominant showcase for the very vicious Davenport. Showing herself to be a nasty competitor who would maliciously dissect her opponent one body part at a time. We'd see see Davenport also use the ring as a weapon including the ring apron to trap Jaynes at one point to continue her pummeling. After a couple of minutes of action Davenport would pick up the win following a Falcon Arrow.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Blair Davenport!

The crowd boos as the announcement is made and Blair Davenport rises to her feet. After having her arm raised, Blair Davenport would shove the official to the side and glance at Jaynes who was crawling to the ropes. In a flash we'd see Davenport land a vicious double stomp to the back of Jaynes' head driving her into the canvas.
~ VULTURES NEST ~

We are then taken to the office of our general manager Anthony Ogogo. While Ogogo is reviewing footage of the early Smith/Ensanglante confrontation, the door to his office flies open and a livid Spike Trivet barges into the room. The WWE UK Champion is livid as he says having to compete against Joe Hendry at Showcase X is unacceptable and that Hendry hasn't earned it. Ogogo in turn shakes his head unimpressed with Trivet and his comments. Telling Spike that the match is official for Showcase X, Ogogo makes it clear that next week Trivet and Hendry will be signing contracts to make this official.
~ GENERALS DECREE ~

Ahead of the fourth match of the night we then go to the locker room of WWE European Champion Gunther. Calling himself a champion of integrity and one who is a man of his word. He says that at Showcase X he will honor his agreement and defend his title against Harry Smith. However before then he'd like to offer a challenge to Harry having seen all of his promos and his training as of late. Calling himself a mentor and teacher of others, Gunther invites Smith and his fabled family to send out a representative to take on his student Steven Regal next week!
MATCH #4: WORLD OF SPORT MATCH
(Referee: Chris Hatch)

DOUG WILLIAMS VS. ZACK SABRE JR

Our fourth match of the night would be a World of Sport match as Doug Williams battled Zack Sabre Jr. This would very much be a pure wrestling match filled with constant exchanges of holds, pinning positions and various mat returns. With the round system and multiple falls required it was no surprise that it would take a few rounds before someone finally conceded a fall. As Zack Sabre Jr was the first to pick up a fall with a European Clutch. This mat based bout would then continue until Doug Williams managed to even the score as he secured a quick guillotine choke during a roll to force a submission. With the bout one apiece, it seemed that all it would take would be one well timed counter to turn the tide. This would be the case as Sabre managed to counter a Chaos Theory mid roll and trap Williams in a straight armbar for the submission victory!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match Zack Sabre Jr!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Zack Sabre Jr climbs to his feet. After having his arm raised, Zack walks over to Doug Williams and helps him to his feet. From here the two men shake hands before Sabre in turn raises Williams arm to a huge cheer.
~ OUT STYLED ~

tumblr_oplsqbKSI81r7w5lzo1_400.gif
Pre show footage is then played focusing on Trent Seven making his arrival to the building. Despite his loss last week Seven is all smiles as he tells the camera that tonight is his night and while both Dunne and Bate have done well with the Pick Your Poison concept. Once again as is always the case, it is the brain of Trent Seven which truly becomes the difference maker. This is why tonight there will not be two matches instead there will only be one as Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate will be forced to team up against a very special set of opponents!
~ THE SHOW ~

We then return to the office of "The Guvnor" Anthony Ogogo. Here the WWE UK General manager is standing by as he confirms that in two weeks time Charles Crowley and Suge D will face Sanity in a tornado Tag Team match! As Ogogo prepares to continue his announcement he is joined in his office by Ashton Smith. Shaking his head in disappointment for Ashton's actions tonight. Ogogo says that Smith has forced his hand so in two weeks he will have his match with Ensanglante in a tag team street fight but that is only if he can find himself a tag team partner!
MATCH #5: SINGLES MATCH
(Referee: Chris Sharpe)

SANTANA GARRETT VS. DANI JORDYN

Our fifth match of the night would see Santana Garrett take on certified Mean Girl Dani Jordyn. Before the match Jordyn would look to add Garrett to her burn book only for the veteran to kick it out of her hands to a pop from the crowd. This bout would very much be a showcase for the athletic Garrett who managed for most part to be in control of this match until she was distracted by Stevie Turner at ringside who claimed to be scanning her. This distraction gave Jordyn a close near fall following a reverse DDT. Not long after however Garrett would land a russian leg sweep on Jordyn before clamping on a grounded Octopus stretch for the submission!

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Santana Garrett!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Santana Garrett rises to her feet. Before Garrett can have her arm raised however she is hit from behind by Stevie Turner. As Garrett drops to her knees, we see Turner follow up with a vicious boot to the side of her head knocking Garrett down to the canvas.
~ REDEMPTION ~

Post show footage from last week is then played and it focuses on Millie McKenzie leaving the building. McKenzie is not happy after her loss earlier in the evening and she says that she wanted her departure from British Strong Style to be a clean one. Yet now she can see despite her best efforts that Trent Seven will never let her leave and be free. This is why she is warning him that she is firmly setting her sights on him and he will suffer the consequences of not letting her go out on his own. With that McKenzie climbs in her car and drives away from the building.
~ CONSEQUENCES ~

Just before the next match can begin, the cameras take us to outside the women's locker room area. Here Kanji is pacing back and forth when we see the return to the brand of Laura Di Matteo. While still not cleared to compete Di Matteo says to Kanji that she is happy to be back and asks her how she has been getting on. Albeit with some apprehension on her part, Kanji says that things haven't been working out with her and Blaze as Laura would have hoped and this is why the GM has granted her a match with Blaze in two weeks time!
MATCH #6: HANDICAP MATCH
(Referee: Oscar Harding)

PETE DUNNE AND TYLER BATE VS. THE SELFISH GENERATION (ZACK GIBSON, EDDIE DENNIS, ADAM MAXTED AND KIP SABIAN) W/SADIE GIBBS

While in his earlier promo Trent Seven may have made this pick your poison bout sound like a tag team match. We'd learn very quickly that was the furthest thing from the case as instead we'd see Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate be forced to compete in a two against four handicap match against the full Selfish Generation including it's newest member Kip Sabian. Despite their issues and a few early bickers, the duo of Dunne and Bate managed to put their issues aside and worked well against this group but as we'd soon see not only was they contending with the Selfish Generation but also Sadie Gibbs at ringside as well as the emergence of Trent Seven. In what was seemingly a ploy as the match got to the five minute point, the Selfish Generation would all converge on the ring and attack Bate and Dunne forcing the referee to call for the bell.

Shepherd: and the winners of the match as a result of a disqualification.. Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne!

The crowd erupts into boos as the beatdown continues with Seven and Gibbs continuing to attack the duo as well. Despite Bate and Dunne's attempts to fight back they would be overwhelmed by the numbers. Seemingly leading the charge, a smug Seven would pile drive Dunne and burning hammer Bate while the Selfish Generation fought back any security and officials who looked to enter the ring.
~ CONFIRMATION ~

Disgusted with what he just saw Anthony Ogogo shakes his head backstage in his office. Turning to the camera with a deep sigh, Ogogo looks to move onto better things as he says that after her actions earlier on this evening Stevie Turner will battle Santana Garrett in two weeks time. Before Ogogo can continue he is surprised by the arrival of Ashton Smith. Smith says he has been thinking about it but he still wants to go it alone, Ogogo counters that wasn't the deal but before the pair can continue their conversation Oro Mensah walks into the room. Saying he doesn't know Ashton but he respects him, Mensah says he isn't one to turn down a fight and will be Ashton's tag team partner.
~ KILLER ~

impact-wrestling-killer-kelly.png
A pre taped promo then plays with Raquel Lourenco staring at herself in front of a mirror. The WWE UK women's champion is all focus as she says that she has heard what Katarina Leigh has said. Admitting that Katarina may have a good point that Raquel was blinded by their friendship and past and that distracted her from seeing the real deep down person that Katarina was. However while she was blinded now, she know who the real Katarina Leigh is now. But the question Lourenco has for Katarina is does she know who the real Raquel Lourenco is. Because at the Showcase she will find out!

Ahead of the second chance battle royal, the cameras take us to the locker room where Carlos Romo is finishing up a phone call. Romo is soon joined by Axiom and we learn from Romo he was just checking in on Mariah May but she fine and recovering and will be back soon. Nodding his head, Axiom and Romo then talk tonight. Admitting that things have been tough lately the pair call what happened last week to Mariah put things into perspective. Promising to put their issues aside, the duo wish one another luck in the battle royal and hug.
MATCH #7: SECOND CHANCE BATTLE ROYAL
(Referee: Artemis Ortygie)

NATHAN CRUZ VS. NATHAN FRAZIER VS. AXIOM VS. CARLOS ROMO VS. CURT HAWKINS VS. LUDWIG KAISER VS. FRANCESCO AKIRA VS. SIMON MILLER

It was now time for the second chance battle royal with the winner earning their spot in the worlds collide gauntlet match. Before the match could begin Curt Hawkins made the mistake of boasting about being the most professional wrestler and we'd see this backfire as everyone in the match bar Nathan Cruz banded together to toss Hawkins out of the ring for the first elimination. Not long after we'd see our second elimination when Nathan Cruz low blowed Nathan Frazier and tossed him out of the ring. With this bout down to six we'd then see a surprising double elimination as Axiom and Francesco Akira battled on the turnbuckle only for Ludwig Kaiser to shove both men to the floor. Backstage announcer Simon Miller meanwhile being the crowd's favorite impressed as he pressed Carlos Romo over his shoulders tossed him out to the floor. With the match now down to three Simon Miller managed to hit Kaiser and Cruz with a double clothesline before he looked for a spear on Cruz. Cruz however would side step and Miller hit the ring post hard. Cruz would then back drop Kaiser over the ropes and onto the apron before he'd do the same to Miller. With both men hanging on Cruz charged only to be snatched by the pair and pulled over the ropes. These three men would battle back and forth on the apron when Miller in a big show of strength shoved Kaiser back into the ring post which caused Ludwig to spill from the floor. He'd then follow with a back drop on the apron to Cruz which caused Cruz to spill to the floor.

Shepherd: And the winner of the match... Simon Miller!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Simon Miller climbs into the ring. An overjoyed Miller then climbs the ropes and raises his arms in the air with a big smile in celebration of his win.
~ BACK BITE ~

Right before the main event of the evening, the cameras follow Trent Seven on his exit from the building. Trent Seven is smug and full of bravado when he is surprised to find Anthony Ogogo waiting for him. Asking if Seven was proud of himself with his actions tonight. Ogogo says he is very happy to catch Trent before he could make his escape. As Ogogo wanted to discuss with him the terms of next weeks' pick your poison match. Seven looks confused as he says that the series is over as all three men had their picks. With a smirk Ogogo reminds him yes everyone had their turn but British Strong Style did have 4 members. So in fairness to that next week Millie McKenzie will get to pick Bate, Dunne and Seven's poison.
MAIN EVENT: BRITISH BULLDOG TAG TEAM CLASSIC
(Senior Official: Thomas Scarborough)

CANDY FLOSS AND XIA BROOKSIDE VS. TEAM KICK (DAKOTA KAI AND TEGAN NOX)

Finally it was time for the main event of the evening which was a British Bulldog tag team classic semi final match as Candy Floss and Xia Brookside battled Team Kick. With both teams filled with fan favorites it was no surprise this bout would feature a split crowd and dueling chants going back and forth. This would be a back and forth tag team match with both teams having their moments and coming close to sealing the deal. Seemingly spurred on by all the cheers a fired up Tegan Nox would be all over the ring including hitting a big Molly go round on Brookside and a suicide dive on Candy Floss. In a chaotic end of the match we'd see Candy Floss and Dakota Kai fall through the ropes and to the floor. Nox would attempt to wrap things up with a shining wizard on Brookside who rolled through and hit a leaping code breaker on Nox to pick up the win!

Shepherd: And the winners of the match... Candy Floss and Xia Brookside!

The crowd cheers as the announcement is made and Xia Brookside takes a knee. Brookside is emotional as she is joined in ring by Candy Floss and the pair embrace. While they do so, at ringside Dakota Kai pulls herself to her feet and also breaks down in tears while Tegan Nox lays on the canvas. Slowly Nox pulls herself to her feet as our commentary team reveal this was Nox's final match in WWE UK before she heads to NXT. Climbing to her feet, Nox is surprised as on the stage empties the locker room and many of the male and female superstars applaud her while confetti rains down from the rafters. Stepping through the ropes, Ogogo presents Nox with a bouquet of flowers and the crowd give her a standing ovation to close the show.

Following the conclusion of the latest WWE UK show. We can officially confirm that Tegan Nox has departed the brand and will be heading to NXT. This move has been said to be a long time coming with WWE management who have been very high on Nox and her performances as part of WWE UK. The reason for this move not being divulged sooner was by design with the intention being not to spoil the result of the British Bulldog Tag Team Classic semi final match. Nox is believed to be heading to NXT for a brief run before she makes her arrival on the main roster.

Pete Dunne vs. Trent Seven vs. Tyler Bate

A high stakes contest between former team mates has also been confirmed for Showcase X.
