If they aren't crucial to a part of any specific game mode, they'll probably be removed. Those pics tend to also get updated anyway, some of them are leftovers from 2K25.

AoP were tied to a new exclusive 5-man stable entrance feature that they wanted to show off and wouldn't have been able to show without them.
Elektra Lopez was an outlier, I'll give you that one.
