Alexa Bliss and Alicia Fox kicked things off for the second ever women’s Royal Rumble match. Despite hitting a beautiful northern light’s suplex on Bliss. It would be the former who quickly recovered from the move and eliminate the latter.

The new arrival didn’t hesitate in the slightest to take the fight to her old rival. Bayley came out on top in the proceeding brawl and planted Bliss with a Bayley to Belly.

A fired up “Lass Kicker” joined the party and promptly levelled Bayley with a Lass Kicker (Manhandle Slam). Then when Bliss showed signs of returning to her feet, Lynch grabbed her and planted her with a second one.

The other member of the Samoan Slaughterhouse stormed to the ring and stopped an attempted elimination of Jax from happening. Tamina hit a headbutt to Rose, a superkick on Banks and finally a double Samoan Drop on both Evans and Deville.

Finally, the egotistical manager of Andrade Cien Almas that being Zelina Vega was revealed as the last entrant into the 2019 women’s Royal Rumble. Despite all thirty entrants having made their respective ways into the match, the field of potential victors consisted of a total of twelve. The first victim was Ripley who was eliminated by the Samoan Slaughterhouse, which was then followed by Bayley getting rid of Rose and Banks did the same with Deville.

Flair charged at Jax who sidestepped the former who as a result landed on the apron. From here Jax delivered a big boot to the skull of Flair which sent her flying off of the apron.

Before Jax could take a minute to admire her handywork she was rocked from behind with a clothesline from Lynch. Which sent the former over the ropes and onto the apron, then the latter hit a dropkick which sent the giant down to the floor below.

Right out of the gate Ambrose took the fight to Lashley and brutally beat him down. Rush tried to interject himself into the match and was clotheslined off the apron for his troubles. This would open the door for Lashley to recover and then take charge by way of tearing through his opponent with a Spear.

The pair of champion and challenger would shake hands after the opening bell rang out in the arena. In a well-received signal of mutual respect between the two women. A fired-up Naomi attempted to use some energetic offence in her attempt to become Smackdown Women’s Champion once again. She would ultimately end up failing in this goal as the “Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka counted an attempted Rear View into an Asuka Lock and Naomi tapped out.

As soon as the bell rang out the challenger went on the attack by targeting her opponent’s legs like a surgeon. In turn the reigning and defending WWE RAW Women’s Champion would set her sights on the arms of her opponent. After a back-and-forth masterclass showcasing the submission skills of both champion and challenger this contest ended in pinfall in the favor of Rousey.

Next up it was time for the match where the WWE Championship was up for grabs. As a former underdog and current champion (Bryan) went one on one with a man who has always been looked at as an underdog (Mysterio) This singles match between two men was a styles clash of the highest order. On one side you had the technical wizardry of Bryan going up against the highflying offence of the “Master of the 619”. In the closing moments of the match, following laying out his opponent with a 619, the number one contender climbed up to one of the turnbuckles.
Yet the fallen champion drew the attention of the referee claiming to be injured. This would out to be a ruse by Bryan as with the official distracted Erick Rowan came through the crowd and climbed up onto the apron. From here the giant wrapped a hand around the face of Mysterio and sent him flying into the ring with an Iron Claw Slam. Rowan got off the apron and Bryan jumped to his feet and then walked over and trapped Mysterio in a needless Guillotine Choke which forced the latter to pass out.

In the penultimate match of the evening the self-title “Monster Among Champions” Braun Strowman©. Found his way forward as WWE Universal Champion in jeopardy. As situated in the very middle of the road was a rather psychotic roadblock which took the form of the “Scottish Psychopath” Drew McIntyre. Given that this clash of titans housed not one but two behemoths it was complete and utter chaos from opening bell to closing bell. Strowman waged war against his opponent in his attempt to remain in possession of the Universal strap.
Whereas McIntyre did the exact same thing in his attempt to capture his first world championship in the land of entertainment. In the closing moments of the match, McIntyre was able to escape an attempted Running Powerslam and landed behind Strowman. Suddenly a group of four masked and hooded people came through the crowd and distracted the referee and Strowman. Which opened the door for McIntyre to hit a needless low blow and then followed it up with a Claymore for the win.

A pair of fan favorites were revealed as the first two entrants into the main event of the evening. The duo of Ryder and Woods would proceed to have a bit of fun but then settled to brawl.

The youngster entered into the match and shook hands with both Woods and Ryder. Then the trio went back and forth in the form of thrilling three-way brawl.
4.Shinsuke Nakamura
Kinshasa to Woods, one to Bate and finally a third on Ryder completing a trifecta for the “King of Strong Style”.

Benjamin levelled Nakamura with a springboard clothesline and then dragged him up and hit a T-Bone suplex.

The sixth entrant into the match was one half of the Smackdown Tag Team Champions. Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick on Benjamin and then one on Nakamura and finally he brawled with Bate.

Fought with Ryder, Woods, Bate and Nakamura, then switched tactics and tried to do away with Sheamus.

A very loud JOE IS GONNA KILL YOU, accompanied the arrival of the “Samoan Submission Machine”. Joe didn’t hesitate in proving the WWE Universe right with their proclamation.

Ali bounced into the match at the exact same time that Joe dragged Truth up and eliminated him. Ali would then waste little time in taking the fight to Joe and then the man who pinned him on the Kickoff show (Rusev).

Miz ran down to the ring and slid into it under the bottom rope and attacked Nakamura and then did the same to Sheamus and Rollins. He put a full stop on his violence by levelling Joe with the Skull Crushing Finale.

Orton attempted to hit Hardy with an RKO, only for the new arrival to change it into a Twist of Fate. He then hit a Side Effect on Miz and then another Twist of Fate to Ali.

The big man stoically enters the match with a very same calm expression on his face. Big Boot to Nakamura, One to Zayn, Sidewalk Slam to Rusev. From here Harper grabbed Ali and hit a Discus Lariat then picked him and eliminated him.

Nakamura got the better of the United States Champion, only to be thrown out by Sheamus in turn. Kingston hit a Trouble in Paradise on Orton; Rollins hit a Blackout (Curb Stomp) on Hardy.

He attempted to make his way down the ramp only for him to be attacked by Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain. Making it clear that SaNiTy was finished as of tonight. A force of referees and security came out and forced the trio to the backstage area.

One half of the RAW Tag Team Champions entered the match next and made a beeline for two men in particular. That being the pair of Angle and Gargano with all three of the submission specialists showing mutual respect to each other. Corbin turned an attempted Sling Blade from Balor into a Deep Six, then grabbed Angle and hit the End of Days. Orton once again tried to ruin Kingston’s night only for the latter to yet again avoided elimination.

Superkick to Rollins another to Joe, then a third to Corbin, finally Ziggler planted Harper with a Zigzag. Gable was able to get the better of Kurt Angle and eliminate the WWE Hall of Famer.

The last man to enter the 2019 men’s Royal Rumble match was also the other half of the Smackdown Tag Team Champions. He hit a series of uppercuts on any and all fool enough to meet him head on. Owens tried to eliminate Rollins only to have it turned around on him in the last minute.

Orton drove Rollins skull into the mat with an RKO and then dragged him up and sent him packing.

The “Viper” kicked Kingston in the balls and as the latter crumbled to the mat, Orton backed up preparing to deliver a Punt. At the last possible second, Kingston jumped back to his feet and hit a Trouble in Paradise. From here he grabbed the falling Orton and dragged him over near the ropes and threw him out of the match.
