Do any of you guys go to a wrestling school?
I started last week, and the training is really hard, but I'm having a great time! I've learned how to bump, run on the ropes, make an irish whip and getting thrown of the second rope.

Nice one man, which school do you go to?

There's quite a few users here who are/want to become WWE superstars, I'm sure a few of them go to wrestling school but I'm not sure.

Let me say that it's not as easy as it looks, not AT ALL. It requires A LOT of exercise, you need to take good care of your body (no smoking and drinking will help too, and if you eat the right way too) to go through an entire training session without being completely broken, because you will work out a lot. Unfortunately, I'm not used to it, so I get completely broken. Today I learned how to sell moves like the clothesline, the bulldog and the hip toss, learned how to throw punches and kicks, being thrown over the top rope, and I learned chain wrestling. It's great fun, if you really love to wrestle, the pain you're gonna be after the first sessions isn't gonna stop you from continuing. We have 3-hour training sessions, every saturday and sunday, the trainer is a portuguese pro wrestler (Red Eagle) and sometimes we have special guests (even Britain's own Rockstar Spud came here for a seminar, unfortunately I wasn't there yet) to train with us. It's AWESOME!

Just seen there is a school about 15 minutes from me, tempting to go just to see what it's like.

Be aware of the basics first, if you can fly through the ring and don't know the basics you aren't too much of a wrestler. But it sounds like a good place. Check out the video I've put on the last post!

While training, if you bump wrong, or something like that, it hurts a little bit, but after ten seconds you're okay! I'd advise knee and elbow pads, otherwise you'll scratch your knees and elbows. After training is the problem, you cool off and you start feeling muscular pain for 2 ou 3 days. After the first training, I couldn't even walk on steps. It's hard, but you get through, don't worry.

I'd love to bounce off the ropes. @[Xanth] would just break them.

It's kinda hard, there's a number of steps (depending on the size of the ring you're wrestling in), foot work, a way to grab the rope...
