Thank you for calling me a hypocrite, very nice of you.

By the way I would definitely tell him to release the tape because they killed my closest friend, but in this case they never did, this is a whole new story than a couple of Iraqi soldiers killing my closest friends, I know I'd be angry and all but hey it is still a crime to release private and top secret footage, the guy committed a crime and it is right that he gets punished for it.

Hypocrisy at its finest.

You just said you'd want him to release it if it was your friends - but because it's not, he should be in prison. Lovely. :urm:

he hasn't fixed and he's also made it worse. F*** Paul. people look at him as if he's a F**cking political Messiah. Those same people looked at Obama the same way and look what were stuck with now. Paul could be taken seriously if he wasn't so out there with his foreign policy. I agree we shouldn't have our troops in so many countries, but to not have any anywhere is just crazy. If it was up to him, Iran would be able to have a nuclear bomb. The whole stay out of foreign affairs motto is fine and dandy, but pretty soon it starts to involve us and we need to intervene.

You are right, fuck Paul for wanting us to mind out own business and stop spreading ourselves so thin and wasting our resources all over the world while life in the US continues to take a turn for the worse.

What is wrong with him? We should set up more military bases and start more wars!

Stuff like that should not be leaked, it is a crime and you know it yourself. Even if they raped the innocent civilians it is still a crime to leak these stuff that's my point but what he did was good yet it is a crime.

Oh man. This is just.. :facepalm1:

Crimes against humanity take precedent over our governments Blue laws. If everyone throughout history thought like you and was so eager to eat out of the palms of our governments hands our country/the world would be an even shittier place than it already is, which is scary to think about.

What you say is true, what I'm trying to say is that it is a crime that's why they took him in or am I wrong?

Obviously. But morally and ethically the man was in the right, agreed? While our government will condemn him for his acts, we as human beings should praise his nobility and courage, should we not?

Why not have your troops back home and save lots of money that way? The world does not need America watching over it. Fact is the presence of American troops in the places were they are placed is what causing the tension 90% of the time. Just letting the other countries take care of their own business would solve everything much simpler.

When you describe it like that I see where you are coming from but it is a solvable situation but one that would take time. It would have to involve slowly moving your troops out and whilst doing so work on building more positive relations with the countries in question through negotiations and talks. Helping them establish functioning governments of their own and maybe even start discussions on trade deals or similar that would benefit both countries. It would be a slow process though but I think if working by this system you could have all your troops home in about ten years. Granted there isn't another big terror plot by some international terror group ala Al Quaeda (spelling here?) which have people from multiple countries in their ruling body. That would fuck it up since there wouldn't be a clear country in which to hunt them and it would put the world on edge again. Then it would take longer for you to get your troops home that way.

You said it's stupid not to have American troops in foreign countries; then you say you're not brainwashed.

You must have really loved George Bush.
