So, by your logic HBK is a low card guy until he becomes active again and a new fued gets underway?
As I've already said, Regal is established.... He doesn't need to be on TV every week to retain his spot... Whether it's been a week or a couple of months, as soon as he appears through 'the curtain' all the old heat comes back.
Just like the pops are always there for someone like HBK.
Granted IF he had a few wins under his belt over the last few months he may have seemed an even more threatening challenge for MVP, but bottom line he is still a totally credible challenger for a mid-card title (Especially seeing as he's a recent mid-card title HOLDER!).
Tell me Mike, would you deem Kendrick/Chavo/Noble (i.e. The true LOW card heels) as more/less credible bearing in mind they HAVE been on TV doing their "low card heel" thing (i.e. getting squashed by guys above them on the roster)?
No. Just like Triple H will still be a top guy when he returns, and Cena is when he returns, so will HBK. The difference is, Regal wasn't a huge star right before this feud when he was off TV. He was great in his day, and still is, and I still love pretty much any feud he's in, but he was only a respectable midcarder in say, January, and since his loss to Punk, has been pretty rarely seen, and upon returning, his stock lowered. It's higher now though, and will continue to rise during this feud. But I really think the whole debate about where in the card Regal stands isn't even really relevant here, considering it was a small sidenote. The real debate is whether it's who MVP should be feuding with. Let's just say he is a midcarder (which I wouldn't overly argue. What I meant by lowcard was low-midcard anyway), then the argument just becomes whether or not MVP should be feuding with him.
The whole "where he is on the card" debate has run it's course, and doesn't even really mean anything. I just wanna debate/lsten to opinions on the act of him feuding with Real.
And on that topic, like I said, no doubt it'll be a great feud, and probably some of WWE's best matches in a while are coming up between the two. I just think MVP's already done this type of stuff. Again, it's not going to hurt his career at all, really. It just won't enhance it, either. Because I really think he's already done this type of stuff.
