WWF World Champion: Randy Savage-27/3/88
WWF Intercontinental Champion: The Ultimate Warrior-29/8/88
WWF Tag Team Champions: Demolition-27/3/88

WWF Superstars of Wrestling
November 19th, 1988
Baltimore, MD

Match#1 The Rockers vs Gene Ligon & George South

This was taped during SNME as the banners are up on the apron. Awesome stuff from the boys as they break out new double teams like a dropkick into a rana ands a double backdrop. Just the coolest duo in the world at this point. They wipe everyone out with dropkicks and win with a backdrop/superkick combo in something you would see in the early 2000's. Rockers are the future.
**

WWF Update-
-Fans talk about how excited they are for SVS.

Match#2 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Scott Hudson
Ted kills the future WCW commentator in a fun 2 minute squash as he's still a mean son of a bitch laying into the kid with all he's got, and it's no shock why Ted has become my favourite squash guy. Hercules has a cut in saying he's going to make him pay at SVS. Ted wins with the MDD.
**

Post match, Ted shoves the cash down the kids throat.

WWF Events Center-
-Mr. Perfect promises to lead his Survivor Series team to victory, because he is absolutely Perfect and his team is Perfect.

Match#3 Tito Santana vs Steve Lombardi
Fuck yeah, it's one of the those amazing episodes with the best guys in action. Tito gives the big man a little and bounces around, and then takes him apart from sweet arm work to gross offence that batters Lombardi's skull and body. Tito wins with the Forearm.
**

Buy the WWF Wrestling calendar.

Match#4 The Red Rooster w/Bobby Heenan vs Rusty Riddle
Thankfully only 90 seconds of Terry doing basics and getting yelled at by Heenan any time he looks like a dweeb. Really not much to write home about, and it's once again not Terry's fault. He wins with the Deathlock.
1/2*

WWF Events Center-
-Team Andre, with Dino, Rude, Race, and Perfect cuts another promo. Dino Bravo yells a lot about how Duggan is an idiot and for some reason, does all the talking for his team, and gets almost everyone's name wrong, particular "Rude" Rick Ravishing. Great work, idiot.
-Jake promos for his team. He says they all have something to give, in the spirit of the day. Duggan says they won't work together perfectly, but they're all gonna go crazy and they're gonna win and survive, TOUGH GUY! HOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Buy the WWF WrestleMania VCR game.

Match#5 The Hart Foundation vs Larry Stevens & Johnny Zeigler
Goodness what a roster, man. HF are given 3 minutes as well and knock it, and the jobbers out of the park with tons of power moves and double teams. Anvil gets loads of time this week and shows he's still a brutal bastard when needed, and then we have Bret getting better and better as it goes on. They win with the Hart Attack.
**

The Brother Love Show-
-I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEEEEE YOUUUUUUUUUU
-BL says last week he had the true mega powers as his guest, while this week he has a co-captain of the other team of Koko, Jim, Hercules and Hogan. That man is Randy Savage, and he comes out to an insane pop.BL says he's bitten off more than he can chew as he lists the heel team and why he loves them so much, and how they can't possibly be beaten. Even this lady won't be able to save him, and Savage snatches the mic and warns him to shut up, not smell anything and listen to the sound as Hulk Hogan is about to come out here. Hogan shows up and BL runs for the hills. Hogan says he's going to stand back to back with Randy and make them all look like Boss Man and run them over, jack dude.

WWF Survivor Series Report-
-Bobby says he's thankfully he gets to sit at ringside to watch his team stuff his turkey's. The boys all say they going to be thankful for the chance to hurt them and no one can stop them from doing this.
-Brutus says words as Warrior screams and grunts a lot as Jim and Houston look lost being on camera. Warrior now shouts his team will be filled with RAAAAAAAAGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
-Fuji is with all the heel teams and says this his new family and he loves it. Smash says they're going to kick everyone's teeth in, and Ax says they all about destruction and being nasty and they've got surviving faces. They'll pick and choose them one by one and they're out.
-Shawn says they've got some scores to settle, and Bret says they going to score those turkey's and dish it out. Anvil laughs and tells them to look out as they're coming hahahhahaha.

Match#6 The Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart vs Brutus Beefcake
It strikes me that these two have been feuding for the last 9 months on and off, and it's been so lame and bad that i actually forgot about it until they both showed up on my TV. Anyway, this is 2 minutes of nothing before the heel team jump Brutus for the DQ.
1/4*

The faces run down and clean house and hold the ring.

Tonight; Duggan vs Volkoff. YUCK

Match#1 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Nikolai Volkoff w/ Slick & Boris Zhukov
Gorilla calls this a classic confrontation as both men throw some of the ugliest punches you've seen in your life. They keep doing bad and ugly things as Bobby carries by talking about how stupid Hacksaw is, and it's the best stuff. Hack wins with his 3 Point Stance.
1/5*

Hack chases the heels away with his 2x4.

Stage Interview-
-Brutus & Warrior come out for the interview time as i guess they want to see how quickly they can break brains.
-Brutus says they've got the ultimate power out there and they won't know what has hit them when he unleashes them. Warrior shouts he doesn't worry about much, but you've got to be mad and crazy to survive, and he's walking a fine line between sanity and insanity. He flexes to close it.

Match#2 Bad News Brown vs Dave Paradise
News gets 3 minutes this week to be a shit talking grumpy bully, and the kid is clobbered and smacked around in epic fashion. Every shot it mean and focused as he talks trash the entire time in between. He wins with the Blaster.
**

Match#3 The Big Boss Man w/Slick vs Bob Emery
Boss chucks the kid to the floor for a nasty landing and then beats him black and blue for being a law breaking scumbag. He breaks out uppercuts and body blows to add to his already great offence, and i love him even more now. He wins with a wicked Boss Man Slam.
**

Post match, he cuffs the kid and beats him with the stick.

WWF Events Center-
-Bobby warns the teams to get ready for them, and Andre freaks out and swears he's not scared of anything but Jake will be the one who is scared. The others single out their feuds and promise to win it all.

Match#4 Jake Roberts vs Steve Lombardi
Jake targets the knee this week for something new from the arm work, and he kills the hell out of it with some great looking work that's mean on top of it. Jake gets bored and wins with the DDT.
*3/4

WWF Update-
-Hogan says they've got the powers from heaven and the sounds of birds to fight these monsters. Randy slaps Herc in the face a lot as he shouts that he's ready for this, and Herc laughs and says he's bringing the thunderbolts with him.
-They replay Ted and his teams promo from Superstars.

Match#5 Mr Perfect vs Scott Casey
Feels so weird to see Perfect in tights and without Heenan by his side, but we're still a little while away from the entire thing being born. Still, this is very fun for 2 minutes as it's coming together with solid offence and good facial expressions to boot. Perfect wins with a punch to the forehead in a bad finish for a guy like him.

WWF SURVIVOR SERIES
NOVEMBER 24TH, 1988
RICHFIELD, OH
RICHFIELD COLISEUM

Gorilla and Jesse are back on the call, and Jesse is wearing a pilgrim outfit.

Match#1 The Ultimate Warrior, Brutus Beefcake, Sam Houston, Jim Brunzell & The Blue Blazer vs The Honky Tonk Man, Greg Valentine, Ron Bass, Bad News Brown & Danny Davis w/ Jimmy Hart
Opening minute is Brutus fighting Hammer and Davis, and he thankfully chokes Davis out in a minute or so to get rid of maybe the worst guy who isn't him. Everyone gets some shine for the next few minutes and the standouts are Blazer, Brown and Hammer as everyone else is bad or beyond caring at this point. Brown goes on a run beating the daylights out of Brunzell, and he beats him with the Blaster to even it up. Sam gets in and tries to fight News, BUT BROWN KILLS HIM WITH A GROSS BIG BOOT RIGHT TO THE FACE TO CROSS HIS EYES, He and Hammer keep on him as the crowd gets hotter and hotter for Warrior to save, and it's super smart booking to do it like this. Hammer accidentally hits News in the face, so News shoves him and walks out on the team is counted out. The heel team continue to maul Houston, and Bass pins him with a running powerslam. Warrior finally gets in and cleans house with some really good power stuff as the crowd fucking explodes. He press slams Blazer on top of Bass and then Owen goes on a sick run against Hammer. Wonderful back and forth as Owen more than holds his own against a legend, and Hammer gives the kid a ton while beating the shit out of him. HTM shoves Owen off the top to hurt his knees, and Hammer locks in the Figure Four to eliminate Blazer. Brutus sadly gets back in and is isolated and for a while, and it's not bad as the heels clobber him, and the crowd once again begs for Warrior to save the day. Brutus gets the sleeper on HTM and tumbles out to the outside with him and they're both counted out. Woooo fuck you both. The heels double team Warrior and get far with it, but he fights back by shaking the ropes and brings the crowd to a new level of hot as he takes them apart. Warrior takes Bass out with a lariat to pin him, and then he beats Hammer with a running Axe Handle to win the match.
**1/2

Before the next match, we need to cover a massive happening. The Bulldogs had been bullying the Rougeau's (and well, everyone as DK is a sack of shit) and it reached critical mass when Jaques finally had enough and broke DK's jaw with a fist full of coins in the locker-room in one of the most deserving beatings ever that was pretty much celebrated by anyone who wasn't Davey Boy. The Dogs subsequently gave notice and this will be the last time in these reviews we ever see DK and the Dogs in full. Davey will be back in 91 once he realises what a cancer DK actually is and cuts ties for good. Not a major loss as they've mostly been lazy for a year plus, but it's still huge and super important.

Match#2 The Hart Foundation, The Rockers, The British Bulldogs, The Powers of Pain & The Young Stallions vs. Demolition, The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers, The Brain Busters, The Conquistadors & The Bolsheviks w Mr. Fuji, Bobby Heenan, Slick and Jimmy Hart
Opening is everyone getting some shine and looking very good besides the Russians. Ax clubs the life out of Marty and then Arn gets in and has a sweet back and forth with him until Tully joins the fray, and that's class as well. DK actually gets in with a sweet moustache covering the scars from his now messed up face, and he fights Jaques and lays in all his offence, so Jaques smartly gets out and lets his brother take some abuse. Bret now gets in and we get some more great action with the Rouguea's. and Bret beats Ray with a cradle to get them out of there before anything can happen. ROMA GETS IN AND LEAPS TO THE TOP WITH EASE AND HITS A STUNNING CROSSBODY TO NIK. HOLY SHIT WHAT. Demo try to bully everyone now, and POP fight them in a sick monster fight, and Smash actually tags out to save himself. Woah. it turns into an amazing 8 man between HF/Rockers and Demo/Busters as everything is SO perfect and smooth, and i wish it was for real. Shawn is isolated and bumps his ass off and gets turned to mush with a Double A spinebuster for a near fall. Marty gets in for a hot tag and lights everyone up, and i must say the pacing of this is fantastic as hell. The Dogs now to get to wrestle again, and they fight the Busters for the first time ever, and it's tremendous even for the short time it gets. POP AND DEMO FIGHT AGAIN AND WARLORD BASGES AX WITH EASE, SO SMASH HAS TO GET IN AND SAVE HIM, BUT LORD HAS HIS WAY WITH HIM AS WELL, AND HE HITS A GROSS WHEEL KICK TO THE GUTS. HE DOESN'T STOP AS HE PICKS TULLY UP AND HOT SHOTS HIM FOR THE HELL OF IT. DK now finds his way back in and attacks Tully, but he's thrown to the floor and the heels all get in some hard shots on him. Powers eventually makes the hot tag, but Boris rolls through a crossbody to pin him and get rid of the Stallions. Shawn swarms Boris and beats him up, and then Barb helps out with a sweet running shoulderblock. Tully tags in, BUT HE TAGS RIGHT BACK OUT AND RUNS OFF. HAHAHAHAHA. POP and Demo get back at it and Ax is finally able to club Barb down to the mat and actually keep him there long enough to let the heels wear them down for once. It doesn't last as Shawn tags back in and he and Marty double team Boris, and Marty beats the big guy with a slingshot into a cradle. Marty is now stuck in there and is pounded down and eats a huge backdrop to crumble him. He manages to get Davey in for a bunch of power offence, but Tully throws him into the corner so hard that Davey turns himself upside down and lands on his fucking head. The heels all jump him and unload another fun beating, and it's heartbreaking this is the time Davey cares again. DK finally tags in and also gives a shit and rules. Just, Goddamn it, guys. Anyway, POP and Demo do more cool stuff, and it now occurs to me that HF have been mostly left out, but it hasn't hurt the match at all. POP finally fight the Busters and its more fun coward shit as they try not to die. HF now get in and face off with the Busters, and it's amazing watching them go at it as it's everything you could want. Tully and Bret have a great exchange and Bret hits a German Suplex, BUT HIS SHOULDERS WERE DOWN AND TULLY GOT ONE UP! THE HARTS ARE OUT! . The Rockers snap and fight the Busters and all 4 brawl in the middle of the ring and won't stop, so the ref DQ's them both like a big old bitch. They fight to the back as the camera catches a killer brawl, and i can't wait for the 89 series. The Conquistadors go wild now with flip dives and massive bumps for POP and the Dogs. Demo and Dogs fight once more at a breakneck speed with tons of wonderful meathead moments between them. It sadly ends as does the Dogs when DK misses a headbutt and Smash destroys his face with a gross lariat to pin him. POP and Demo fight once more and it's good, Fuji keeps getting on the apron and yelling a lot and swinging his cane around, and Jesse is really confused as to why he's distracting his men, AND THEN FUJI PULLS THE MIDDLE ROPE OPEN AS SMASH IS RUNNING THEM AND HE FALLS OUT TO THE FLOOR. WHAT THE FUCK MAN????? AX CHECKS ON SMASH AND CALLS FOR A TIMEOUT, AND THE REF COUTS DEMO OUT!! AX CONFRONTS FUJI ABOUT IT, AND FUJI YELLS THAT HE'S THE BOSS AS HE HITS HIM WITH THE CANE. HE HITS HIM ACROSS THE BACK WITH IT, BUT SMASH GETS BACK UP AND THROWS HIM INTO AX'S ARMS FOR A MASSIVE SLAM. FUCK YEAH DEMO. POP NOW GETS OUT OF THE RING AND THEY HELP FUJI UP, OH MY GOD YOU SON'S OF BITCHES. The Conquistadors try their damndest to fight the monsters now, but Fuji trips one of them and Barb hits a running headbutt to win.
***1/2

Post match, POP place Fuji on their shoulders as their brand new manager, and Demo run back down and beat the crap out of them and hold the ring as the crowd now fully embrace them. Jesse and Gorilla are both very upset at this turn, and it's the perfect way to do this.

in the back, Mooney is with Bad News.
-News says he smelled a conspiracy when his teamate attacked him because they want to beat him, Survivor Series means nothing to him because he's a born survivor, and he deserves the next world title shot because he's beaten everyone. Tunney will answer him face to face as to why he hasn't gotten his shot yet. Randy has a skirt in his corner, and he doesn't need anyone.

In the back, Gene talks to Mr. Fuji and Powers of Pain. Fuji says he made the Demolition and he made them champions, and their head got swelled up. He says they thought they knew more than the master, so he found these two and HE brought them to the WWF, and they will demolish the Demolition! Barb actually talks and says they've beaten them and there is nothing they can do to stop them. Warlord says they lost Fuji and they'll lose the belts soon as they're going to listen to Fuji.

In the back, Bobby talks about his team that's going to squeeze and squeeze them, and he hopes they had a nice thanksgiving as it might just be the last one.

In the back, Mega Powers and co repeat their most recent promos.

1989 ROYAL RUMBLE: JANUARY 15TH!

Match#3 Jake Roberts, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Scott Casey, Ken Patera & Tito Santana vs Andre The Giant, Rick Rude, Dino Bravo, Harley Race & Mr Perfect w/Bobby Heenan & Frenchy Martin
Blair has left the WWF, so they got an actual job guy to replace him. Opening minutes are pretty good when the good guys get to work and the bad ones are mostly given less time as they can't hang at all. Even more so when Bravo and Ken are in contention of the worst guys in the company, and Race is sadly cooked after his career altering injury. Hack fights Perfect and it's a blast as Perfect takes some insane bumps for him, and really shows off his PPV debut. Hack also fights Rude and it's a brand new match and a fun one to boot, so i hope they gets more play in 89. Ken tries to fight Rude, but he misses a charge and eats the buckles, and Rude hits the RA to pin him. Ken is now gone from the WWF. Casey now tries his hand and is promptly killed and beaten by Bravo and his sidewalk slam. Tito and Hack turn the tide for a moment, but Andre gets his hands on Duggan and smacks him with a nasty headbutt to isolate him, Good work before Tito makes the hot tag and fights Race, and gets a lot out of him for maybe the last time anyone can. Massive bumps for all of Race's work as Tito drops like a sack of shit on each one, and has the crowd eating out of the palms of his hands. He nails a Forearm out of nowhere to beat Race!! Andre now gets in and strangles Tito and smacks the heck out of him with his giant ass and body. ANDRE HITS A FUCKING BANZAI DROP TO PIN HIM. OH GOD. Hacksaw runs in and lariats him into the ropes and Andre is stuck as the faces pound on him until Rude drags Jake off and fights him again along with Perfect as the super team beat him down with Perfect now adding new stuff to a dead ass matchup. Hack has a nice hot tag, but he's dumb and gets his board and attacks everyone for the DQ. Jake is now all alone, and him vs. Perfect is the best. Dino still sucks. He eliminates Rude with the DDT, but then Andre is in, and is mad about the snake. Andre is DQ'd for refusing to stop choking Jake, and then Perfect steals the pin and Perfect and Dino are the survivors.
**

Jake chases the heels off with Damien.

In the back, Gene interviews Team DiBiase. Slick says the big hour is near and the Brain and himself have put their wits together to come up with a system of elimination. Ted says Thanksgiving is useless, but Hercules will thank him tonight for showing him his position in life, as his slave. Akeem says they're all survivors. Heenan says he'll show proper respect to the King and so will everyone else, and they all bow. Gene asks if the Rooster can talk, and he says he can and he can also wrestle, and says he won't let Bobby down. Big Bossman says he and Hogan's paths are gonna cross again and he's gonna hurt him bad like the dog he is.

In a VERY telling moment of what a giant baby Hogan has become, he's the only man to have his own intro for a team PPV. Fucking asshole.

Match#4 The Mega-Powers, Koko B Ware, Hillbilly Jim & Hercules w/Miss Elizabeth vs King Haku, Akeem, Big Boss Man, Red Rooster & Ted DiBiase w/Virgil, Slick & Bobby Heenan.
Hell yeah, Ted and Randy start off and it's immense as always as they throw great strikes and hold nothing back. Hercules is tagged in by Randy as he now loves him more than Hogan, and the big lug isn't good but he's at least trying not be as bad as normal. Hogan and Koko have fun sections against the Towers and Haku and only Jim is truly bad and out of place in here. Koko and Taylor turn back the clock like it's Mid-South, and they have a sweet, sweet back and forth of massive bumps and smooth offence. Hogan gets back in and slams Rooster and sets him for a Savage elbow to pin him. Bobby yells at Rooster for being a loser. Haku snaps and fights Hogan and puts him on his ass, and we get some classic Hogan bumping for a monster. More fun action happens and Akeem evens it up when he splashes Jim to pin him. Koko shows no fear as he takes it to the big man, and Herc helps out to try and drop him on his ass but Akeem won't drop. Koko gets stuck in the ring and Boss hits him with his Slam to pin him. Hogan and Boss go at it, and it's really good as Boss is bringing more out of him than most can at this point. Big peaks and valley's between them, and Hogan slams him after a minute of beating the shit out of him, so it actually feels earned, Boss thankfully gets to hit a sick spinebuster to take him back down, and the heels isolate him with Ted leading the charge. Sadly, Hogan no sells and runs through Ted and gets Herc in for a fight between slave and master. Virgil trips Herc, and Ted gets a rollup to eliminate him. RANDY SNEAKS UP FROM BEHIND AS TED IS TALKING SHIT TO HERC, AND RANDY ROLLS HIM UP AND TED IS GONE. Hogan is jumped by Boss and the boys for a long time, and they wear him down and he sells better than he has maybe all year tbh. Randy finally gets in and goes full madness for 10 seconds before Slick trips him down, and the heels now kick the crap out of him. Slick grabs Liz and drags her by the wrist, and Hogan saves. The Towers jump him from behind and cuff him to the ropes and Boss hits him over and over and ends up getting counted out as a result. HE HITS HOGAN WITH THE STICK AND CHOKES HIM WITH IT. YEAH KILL HIM. Boss gets in the ring and attacks Randy now with it, and Akeem joins and splashes him and the ref DQ's Akeem for it now! The Towers leave the ring as Hogan is dead on the floor, and Haku now has Randy alone. Haku gets to show off once more with brutal kicks and chops, and as this is happening we see Slick taunting Hogan with the keys. Slick gets on the apron and holds Randy for a kick but he ducks and Slick is killed. Hogan knocks Bobby down, and Liz gets the key and lets Hogan free. No, leave him there. Hogan tags in and quickly makes Haku a pinball and beats him with the Leg Drop.
**3/4

Hogan runs over to Savage and points to him and the crowd, and then goes back to posing. Randy is badly hurt as Liz tends to him, but Hogan is too busy posing and being happy about doing 20 seconds of hard, AND HE PICKS MISS ELIZABETH UP IN HIS ARMS AND SPINS HER AROUND, AND RANDY FINALLY SEES IT AND HE GETS THE MOST WILD LOOK IN HIS EYES AS HE FINALLY FIGURES THIS SHT OUT.

images

Liz raises his arm but Randy just stares Hogan down and points at him as the rage is coming over him. Gorilla shows how bad he is as he ignores the angle to close the show.

I've just found an interview that takes place on the after-show on OSW's youtube page, so here we go-
-Jesse is backstage with Randy as his back is against the camera and he's breathing super heavy. Jesse needles him about liz being between them and Hogan looking at the crowd and Liz enjoying it, but seeing something different in Randy's eyes. Randy says that was determination and victory and that what was happening in that moment, and you have nothing on him man. Jesse keeps saying it and says Hogan has his 24inch pythons wrapped around and he wants to know what was going through his mind, and Randy says "Sole Survivor, which i was" he's the champion and that's what he is NOW and that's what he is NOW. He's going to tend to some new business and that's that. He walks away as Jesse laughs and says he thinks there's a little more too this.

Randy Savage not murdering Hogan there and then shows why he's the victim in all of this, but we've got a long road until then. So, strap in folks

WWF MSG-26/11

Demolition (c) vs The Powers of Pain w/Mr Fuji (WWF World Tag Team Championships)
Massive fight to start as Demo fit perfectly in as babyface monsters as all their clubs and slams are now being hit even harder, and this time against assholes so the fans love them now. Barb is knocked down like he's a small man as Demo do it with ease, and it's a hell of a sight to see. Demo do the same to Lord, and even SBG remarks they're making Lord look like a midget and not the monster he truly is. Fuji turns the tide when he hits Ax across the neck with his cane to let POP take over, and they beat the dog shit out of the big man with awesome clubs and slams of their own. Smash finally gets in for a sick hot tag as he pinballs them around. Things break down as Fuji attacks Smash with his cane, and Ax saves and the ref throws it out and DQ's both teams.
**1/4

Before the next match, Classy Freddie Blassie makes his return to join commentary.

Tito Santana vs Greg Valentine
Classic start between these two as it seems like they'll feel each other out, but end up just hitting each other as hard as they possibly can with elbows and forearms, Hammer forges ahead as he goes low and dirty and grinds Santana down on the mat, and we get some great sells and attempts to fight out. Hammer gets truly violent with elbows right to the face and nose, and even twists Tito's head around underneath his arms so he can't breath. Santana attacks the knees to get out and he works a headlock for a while and it's good, but attacking the legs would make a lot more sense, you know??. Still it thankfully turns into a fight and it's awesome as they go back to very hard shots and lay waste to each other. Hammer now goes for the knees and even drops his weight onto Tito's thighs in something i've haven't seen him do in a long time. He gets even more violent as he's bending and twisting it backwards and setting his body down onto Tito's and sticks him into the mat and keeps beating the daylights out of him. Tito manages to dodge a running punch and gets out and reigns down hell on the knees with wild punches and knees of his own to them, and now Hammer is badly hurt. It turns into a dog fight and they fight until the time expires as 18 minutes in one of those terrible timing issues.
**3/4

The Big Boss Man w/Slick vs Hulk Hogan

Once again, i must say it's been quite awful to not have Randy main eventing MSG, but Hogan is the biggest bitch and has to undercut him. Anyway, he attacks Boss and throws him around and we get some fantastic bumps from the big fella as the crowd loses it. Slick jumps on Hogan's back, but he gets dumped in the ring and nearly killed, but Boss saves and drops Hogan with some forearms to back and head and beats him into the mat, and it's such a fun bully piece of work as Boss has gone from super solid to amazing in a rapid pace. Hulk's selling rules a ton as he's doing all he can to make Boss look like a true monster, and it feels earned when he gets to fight back to knock Boss down with a series of running lariats, but he gets tripped again by Slick and is killed by a gross Spinebuster by Boss for a near fall. Boss keeps on him, AND HE TRIES TO SPLASH HIM OFF THE TOP, BUT HOGAN MOVES AND BOSS MAN EATS NOTHING BUT SHIT. GODDAMN. Hogan now comes back in classic form and beats Boss pillar to post and slams him. Slick districts again and gets the cuffs on the ropes, but Hogan manages to cuff Boss first and lariats him over the top and the big man is counted out.
**3/4

Fair play to Hogan for not actually pinning Boss Man yet as i figured he would.

Tonight; Haku vs Hercules.

Match#1 Jake Roberts vs John Latu
3 solid minutes for Jake as his squashes have pretty much reached their level as a face, and i can't see it changing now. Not bad, just very much the same stuff. Andre has a cut in promising to crush him, and i can only hope. Jake wins with the DDT.
*1/2

Post match, the jobber meets Damien.

The Brother Love Show-
-I LOOOOVEEEEE YOU
-Jack Tunney is the guest this week as BL screams at him that he's sick of being beaten up on his own show by Savage and Hogan, and he demands to know what he's going to do about it. Jack says he's going to do nothing about it, and BL says that's all he's done since he's been president of the WWF.
-Bad News walks on as BL says he gets nothing either, and News says for the past 5 months he's been sending letters and calling him at that private country club and getting no responses. So, he's here to get some answers as to why he's not the #1 contender for the world title after beating everyone and winning the battle royal. Why is he protecting Savage, and Jack says that's not the case at all. News rightly points out that Jack has new houses, cars and boats and maybe Randy is paying him off with his contract.
-Jack denies this, so News says he's figured out that its because Elizabeth is doing FAVOURS for him. Jack pokes him in the chest and asks who he is to talk to him like that, SO NEWS SHOVES HIM DOWN AND HOLDS HIM BY THE COLLAR AS HE CALLS HIM A SPINELESS RAT. AND SAYS HE DOESN'T CARE WHO HE IS, YOU DON'T PUT HANDS ON HIM. IF HE DOES IT AGAIN, HE'S GOING BEAT HIM UP.
-News storms off as BL says this what he gets for accepting favours from Elizabeth.
-Holy shit, that was fantastic.

Match#2 Mr Perfect vs David Stoudimiere
Perfect has a cut in saying he loves to talk about his favourite subject, himself. He's perfect and the best ever. Awesome squash as he's now talking up a storm as he beats the crap out of this nothing with some tremendous offence like dropkicks and smooth as smooth armdrags. He's even throwing stiff strikes on top of it. He wins with the Perfect Plex.
**

WWF Update-
-Bass is going to give an old school whipping to that yellow belly coward, Brutus.
-Hacksaw marches around and says he loves America and hates Bravo. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Match#3 The Ultimate Warrior vs Barry Horowitz
Barry does what no other jobber has done and gets the best squash out of Warrior by DYING on everything. Each bump is different and amazing looking, and Warrior holds up his end by hitting hard and not looking outright terrible. Warrior wins with the Combo.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Tito doesn't like the likes of these evil men in the WWF because they're lowlifes who stab people in the back. They don't have good matches for the fans, so he's going to teach them the right way.
-The Rougeau's thank Jimmy for being the best thing to ever happen to them as he's helped them so much. Raymond says Jimmy has told them all about Bret and Jim's weak spots, and they're never going to lose to them now.

Match#4 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Billy Woods
Rude gets nearly 2 minutes for once, so it's very good as he can get mean and violent and show off why he's the man and all that jazz. He has a cut in saying he's going to kiss a lady in every town he makes. He wins with the RA.
**

Post match, he kisses a lady.

WWF Update-
-Gene covers the double turn between Demo and POP.
-Fuji blames Demo for thinking they were smart, well now he has the REAL big men who will hurt them as he demands.
-Smash calls him "Fuj the stooge" and says they've never been through a war, and they can't survive one. Fuji is well aware they have been through wars and have won them. Ax says they'll go in as champs, and they'll walk out as them.

Match#5 King Haku w/Bobby Heenan, Ted DiBiase & Virgil vs Hercules
Fun power fight as Haku brings out some damn fight in the slave. Ted has a cut in saying he bought and paid for him. HAHAH. The match has some nice forearms and knees in it, and Herc even chucks a sweet overhand right to the jaw. Herc moves ahead, so the heels jump him and piss him off, so he gets his chains and attacks Haku for the DQ and chases them off.
*3/4

Match#6 The Young Stallions vs Bubba Kirk & Max McGiver

The Busters have a cut in saying they're the best in the tag game and they've got some names to collect. This is only a minute sadly as i quite like Stallions squashes, so fuck me i guess. Roma wins with his dropkick.
3/4*

Match#7 The Big Boss Man w/Slick vs David Isley

Boss gets 2:45 to beat a criminal to a pulp and show him justice as only an evil prison guard can, and hey it's super awesome as he's getting more violent. Stiff kicks and fat man offence before he wins with the Slam.
**

Post match, he cuffs and beats him down.

WWF Update-
-Bobby says he's finally found two men who make a true team and it's a matter of time before they win. Arn says if they have to sacrfiece each other or themselves to reach Bobby's goal, them that's exactly what they'll do.
-HF say nothing new about the Brothers.

WWF World Champion: Randy Savage-27/3/88

WWF Tag Team Champions: Demolition-27/3/88

WWF SATURDAY NIGHT'S MAIN EVENT
NOVEMBER 26TH, 1988
SACREMENTO, CA
ARCO ARENA

-Warrior shouts warrior and says he's got war paint on and he's taking no prisoners as he faces Fuji and Super Ninja.
-Bobby says they're getting the title back on the biggest champion in the world, Andre. Andre says he wants his belt back NOW.
-Randy says this is the biggest threat ever at 500 pounds of terror, the most horrifying athlete ever. He will face him and beat him like David vs Goliath, and Liz knows ho that story ended.
-Ted says he doesn't believe in thanksgiving as he doesn't give things away, he buys and sells like the American way. Hercules is bought and paid for, and Virgil is going to collect on that overdue bill.
-Hogan says Brother Love set him up and he knows nothing about love that would stuff a turkey, and he's going to explode him like a balloon. His 24inch pythons are going to do the talking, dude.

Mean Gene-
-Fuji and his masked man are here, and Gene wants to know where he found him. Fuji laughs and says Pear Harbour hahahahahahahah. He says he's trained in secret for 7 years with the 7 arts. More pain will be heard in between the silence.

Mean Gene-
-MEAN GENE THERE IS NO FACE OF WAR HE HASN'T SEEN. HE HAS SEEN HIS ENEMY VANQUISHED ONE THOUSAND TIMES AND THIS WAR WILL BE VICTORY FOR HIM ONE THOUSAND TIMES. AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAH.

Match#1 The Ultimate Warrior (c) vs Super Ninja w/Mr Fuji (WWF Intercontinental Championship)
2 minutes of Warrior beating up a masked nothing in a fine little TV squash, but proof that maybe SNME is in need of a change. Warrior drops him on his head a few times as he shows zero care for his life, and yeah fuck the jobber. Warrior wins with the combo.
*

Recap of the Ted/Hercules feud.

Jesse is in the back with Ted, and says he has clear title to Hercules and he should go to the law. Ted says he owns him lock and stock and he's his slave, and it's the American way. Ted says he's going to fight this in the ring and do it his way. Jesse asks why he's not facing him, and Ted says because he's above touching a slave like John D. Rockefeller was, and that's what Virgil is for.

Mean Gene-
-Hercules says he's no slave and that chain is one he wears freely.

Match#2 Hercules vs Virgil w/Ted DiBiase
Jesse makes Roots jokes and other really gross stuff, and its vile and bad. The match is also very bad as Hercules can't carry anyone let alone Virgil of all people, so it's proper ugly. Herc wins with a Powerslam.
1/8*

Post match, Herc throws Virgil on top of Ted and swings his chain to keep them away. Ted berates Virgil for being the worst.

Recap of Andre passing out on the last SNME.

In the back, Gene asks Andre and Heenan about the fear of snakes. Heenan says to never talk about snakes in front of Andre again, or he's going to get his head shrunk. Gene then asks about the match next, and Andre says he's the champion. Heenan says Andre was ripped off in February and the belt was stolen from him, but they'll take the belt from him tonight. Gene says Randy has momentum and has gotten better and better with each defence this year, so Bobby says' that's true and all, but Randy's momentum won't help when he runs into a 7'4'' 500 pound brick wall.

In the back, Gene is with Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Gene asks why Savage would risk it against Andre the Giant. Randy says that's exactly what he's trying to say, and Andre is the 8th Wonder of the World and the largest man to ever step in the ring.He says to be a great champion, he has to beat the Giant, and Hulk Hogan was a great champion, and he beat the Giant. If he can do it, then HE can do it. He says he works for the fans and the title and he went to Hogan and most importantly, he went to Elizabeth, and they all know he can beat him. Gene brings up Bobby Heenan and Savage says he knows him to be a two legged snake and he'd be real surprised if Andre isn't afraid of him too! YEAH! THE TIME IS NOW, ELIZABETH, DOWN THAT AISLE, TO BEAT THE GIANT! YEAH!

Match#3 Randy Savage (c) w/Miss Elizabeth vs Andre The Giant w/Bobby Heenan (WWF Worlds Heavyweight Championship)
Randy is wearing neon green and he attacks Andre like a madman to start and fires off big body blows, but Andre is able to stop him with complete ease and locks in a body lock and smashes his body with his knees and ass. He locks in a headlock next and his entire giant arm covers Randy's face, and it's STILL the most insane thing you'll ever seen in a wrestling ring. Randy refuses to die and keeps trying to fight out, but Andre doesn't even blink as he keeps messing him up with a super mean and petty elbow driven into his skull. Randy manages to hit a jaw breaker and he lays in a ton of shots to back him into the corner, but Andre again stops him, BUT RANDY HITS A RUNNING FOREARM TO KNOCK HIM DOWN TO A KNEE AND HITS THE AXE HANDLE OFF THE TOP TO DROP HIM TO BOTH OF THEM. FUCK YEAH. Jake now comes out and throws Damien under the ring, and then talks to Randy about it, The ref demands Jake leave, and Randy whispers something into his ear and leaves. WE THEN GO TO AN ADD BREAK WHERE HOGAN TALKS ABOUT BROTHER LOVE??? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME, YOU PIECE OF SHIT. Back in the ring, Randy is still trying to drop Andre with all he has, and he's stumbling him, but Andre still knocks him down whenever he can. Bobby searches for the snake as Andre blasts Randy with a gross knee to the ribs, and then hits a Sheamus like chop across the ropes to send Randy in backwards. Jake now comes back out and chases Heenan and the ref calls for the bell.
**3/4

Massive cluster fuck of a match, but in the best ways.

Jake and Randy team up to knock Andre into the ropes to tie him up, and Randy lets Jake into the ring to have his prey as Andre freaks out and nearly dies before he gets free and runs into Bobby's arms as he's consoled. Randy picks Liz up and parades her around on his shoulder.

Mean Gene-
-Hacksaw loves America and hates Russians this week. HOOOOOOO.

Match#4 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Boris Zuhkoff w/Slick (Flag Match)
Hack runs through this goofball for the 1000000th time this year, maybe. He wins with his 3 Point Stance.
HOOOOOOOOO TOUGH GUY

Recap of Boss Man attacking Hogan on the BL show.

Brother Love Show-
-BL says his guest is a Real American and a true asset to the WWF, SLICK. Hogan is pissed backstage and says he's going to make him pay for that.
-BL has Slick with him and says Hogan has no love or control, and he brings him out as Vince gushes over him. BL asks how it felt when Boss Man whipped him across the back and handcuffed like a jellyfish. BL cuts him off and says it must have felt real good, and Slick joins in to make fun of him and calls him a criminal whose losing control. Hogan finally snatches the mic and says he's going to show them the school of Hulkamania and what it's about. Hogan keeps being mean to them and beats them up like a jerk and handcuffs BL to the ropes. He then poses a ton.
-Massive waste of time.

In the back, Jesse interviews Jimmy Hart and the Rougeaus. Jimmy Hart says the Rougeaus have officially moved to the US, and they are now good old American boys! Jesse asks where and Jimmy says they moved to Memphis, TN of course, and Ray says to come visit them and they can have grits and mint julips. Jesse says that sounds great, but Jimmy says it's FABULOUS!

Match#5 The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers w/Jimmy Hart vs The Young Stallions
Really nice showcase for the brothers as they give the kids a little and bump around, and then shut it down double team with all their fantastic work we've fallen in love with this year. The Brothers win with the seated Senton
**

In the back, Jesse is with Andre and Bobby
-Andre says he had him down and Jake ruined it, but he's going to pay for it. Jesse says he's afraid, AND ANDRE GRABS HIM AND SAYS HE'S NOT AFRAID OF SNAKES. He demands Jake get in the ring like a man, and he can ask some older guys how he put them down because that's how he's going to do it to him.

Mean Gene-
-Jake says Andre has a small problem with snakes and a man can't control that fear like Animals do. They feel the fear and they know they can come in and take what they want, and he's knocked on Andre's door and he's going to take what he wants until he's consumed him.

WWF Wrestling Challenge
November 27th, 1988

Match#1 Brutus Beefcake vs John Latu

Brutus stinks the place up as always, and then Bass has a cut in to remind us that awful feud isn't dead at all. Brutus wins with the sleeper.
1/4*

Post match, he cuts some hair and whatnot.

WWF Update-
-They replay Demo and POP's promos.

Match#2 Tito Santana vs Al Navarro
Tito is still one of the best squash guys in the world, and this is another 2 minutes of bliss as he just gets the most out of whatever he's given. Sweet dropkicks and the like, and the big jobber takes some nice bumps in return. Tito wins with the Forearm.
**

Match#3 The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers w/Jimmy Hart vs Tommy Angel & Rusty Riddle
Love to see them getting back to back matches for 3 plus minutes. Sick array of double teams and stooging along with Jimmy being a shithead that makes you hate them even more. It's a crime they never won the titles, but Vince is a coward and all that. They win with the Seated Senton.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Hacksaw still loves America and hates Bravo. HOOOOOOO.
-HTM is ready to play some tunes.

Match#4 The Red Rooster w/Bobby Heenan vs Joe Cruz
Rooster and Bobby are arguing even more now that he lost at SVS, so this mostly eats up an otherwise decent 2 minute squash for Taylor. Rooster wins with the Deathlock.
*

Post match, Rooster holds it on longer and then kicks the jobber to show he's not a loser, or something.

WWF Events Center-
-Bobby says King Haku is the most dangerous man in ALL of wrestling, and he wants Savage to put his name on the contract because they've got places to be and people to hurt. Put your name on the line.

Match#5 The Rockers vs Gene Ligon & Larry Stevens
3 minutes for the boys this go round as Challenge mostly evens out between good and bad. They work the arms and do some fun work on them as they show they can work a limb when needed, and it's more in favour of them. Shawn leaps off Marty's shoulder with a fist drop to win this week. They badly need a finish.
**

Stage Interview-
-Ted DiBiase is the guest. He talks about how he's bought things since he got here and it doesn't matter what the deal is, he owns the people. Bobby Heenan sold him to him and that's that. He's big, strong and stupid and he belongs to him. Virgil knows what the money is about unlike Hercules. The chain is a symbol that he's going to pull him and own him at every turn.

They replay Bravo vs Patera for some ungodly reason.

Match#6 The Brain Busters w/Bobby Heenan vs Scott Hudson & Tommy Causey
Talk about saving the best for last. Arn hits a motherfucker of a punch to set the tone and then the next two minutes is just him and Tully beating the hell out of these dorks. Tully wins with the Slingshot Suoplex.
**

-Randy is backstage and says News is BAD BUT HE'S THE BADDEST AROUND AND HE'S GOING TO SHOW HIM. YEAH DIG IT.

1/2*

Post match, he cuts some hair like a bully.

WWF Update-
-Gene recaps Andre/Savage from SNME

Match#2 Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs Ricki Ataki
Horrible, horrible stuff. Again, not wanting anyone to leave my reviews for sad reasons, but Dino is a dope as history will teach us. He wins with his Sidewalk Slam.
Poop

WWF ROYAL RUMBLE IS COMING ON THE 15TH OF JANUARY

Match#3 Harley Race vs Jim Gorman
Race is alone and has a wicked scar on his belly. Vince says he wants to be king again, but we see Haku with a cut in saying he's going to be bowing to his feet like everyone does. OH SHIT. Good squash for Race as he can still hit very hard in spite of being on his last legs. Race kills the kid with nasty knees and a piledriver and then wins with the Fisherman Buster.
*3/4

WWF Events Center-
-Danny Davis is ready for 89 to be his year as he has a new trainer. Oh dear.
-Tito thanks the fans for being on his side and easing all his doubts. What a nice man.

Match#4 The Hart Foundation vs Barry Horowitz & Iron Mike Sharpe
The Harts get to face the two best jobbers in the world for 2 minutes (and my personal hero in Mike) so this is a barnburner of great offence and wild jobber bumps and sells and screams. BRET DROPKICKS BARY OVER THE ROPES TO THE FLOOR. GOD YES. He gets back in and is beaten like a dog by Bret, and then killed with the HA.
**

WWF Events Center-
-The Blue Blazer wants to face the very best the WWF has to offer because he's ready.
-Bobby says you can talk about all the teams in the WWF, but he has the best thing going here. Tully says Bobby didn't have a team for a long time, but now he's got the best and one worthy of the Heenan name. Arn says they've been called overachievers and poetry in motion, and they won't let the dynasty down.

THE BUSHWHACKERS ARE COMING TO THE WWF.

Match#5 Akeem w/Slick vs Louie Spicolli
Only for a minute for Akeem this go round, but still a fun murder of our guy Louie. Akeem wins with the giant splash.
*

Brother Love Show-
-I LOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEEE YOU.
-He recaps News attacking Tunney last week, and what he said about Randy and Liz. in saying that, Randy comes out as the guest to a mega, mega pop.
-BL says News bought up some interesting points that need to be spoken about, such as Randy being protected by Tunney after some payoffs. BL says he thinks that could be the case, but the biggest one they need to talk about is Miss Elizabeth. He asks what favours she's doing, SO RANDY GRABS HIM BY THE THROAT AND SAYS HE'LL DO HIM A FAVOUR AND LET HIM EXSIT. HE'S GOING TO DO SOMETHING FOR NEWS AND GIVE HIM A TITLE SHOT, AND IT'S NOT SOMETHING TO BE HAPPY ABOUT, BUT INSTEAD SOMETHING HE SHOULD BE MAD ABOUT. HE INSULTED HER AND THAT'S SOMETHING HE'LL NEVER FORGET OR FORGIVE. BAD NEWS FOR BAD NEWS.

Match#6 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Nito Gomez
Rude has a cut in telling the ladies to buy his new shirt so they can touch him. Good Rude work once more as he's beyond great now and won't actually fall off before he gets hurt in 94. He wins with the RA.
*3/4

Post match, he kisses another lady.

Match#1 The Rockers vs Steve Lombardi & Barry Horowitz

This is 5 minutes in one of those famous "fuck it, do whatever" matches, and hey it's 4 of the best guys in the company so it rocks a ton in spite of that. Shawn gets a lot of shine and while he's not the insane freak he will become, you can see he's already very, very good. Marty is a super solid dude and holds the work up on his end. They win with the crossbody/suplex combo this week.
**

WWF Update-
- Tunney announces that Bad News has been 20 grand for his actions. He was going to be suspended but Savage has pleaded they don't, so the WWF has agreed.
-Kind of proving New's point there, Jack.

Match#2 Koko B Ware vs Iron Mike Sharpe
Hell yeah, awesome 3 minutes for big Mike doing all he can to bump and die at Koko's hands. He screams as he gets beaten worse and worse, and Koko looks next level fantastic. Ghostbuster gets the win.
**

In the back, the Bushwhackers dance and talk amazing nonsense as they mess around with Gene. They buy some soft drinks and explode on themselves.

Match#3 Ron Bass vs Louie Spicolli
Bass has a good squash again thanks to Louie being game for a beating, and Bass is more than willing to lay in nasty shots and really beat his face in. Pedigree ends it.
*3/4

Match#4 Red Rooster w/Bobby Heenan vs Sam Houston

Fine 2 minute back and forth between two perfectly fine pro wrestlers. Rooster gets his tail kicked, so Bobby yells at him for being awful again and fires him up. Rooster goes on a run and wins with his Deathlock.

WWF Events Center-
-The Stallions refuse to be used as stepping stones as they want to be #1 and be the champions.
-Hammer is on the road to the gold, and his figure four is going to get it done for him.

They replay Warrior vs Ninja.

Stage Interview-
-Andre & Bobby are the guests.
-Gene makes light of Andre's fears, so Bobby flips out and screams that there is NO place for low-down snakes like Jake Roberts. Gene tries to play it off by saying everyone has fears like elevators, but Heenan gets angrier and angrier and says he's trying to lie about him being afraid.
-Andre says he's not scared at all, and Jake will pay for what he did to him and he's looking at the next world champion. He's the REAL champion in the world, and Jake needs to put that in his mind and not forget that. Don't bring that Damien, or else.

Match#5 Mr Perfect vs Frank Valdez
More Perfect wrestling from the Perfect one. Bobby really loves him and thinks he's going to go far, and Gorilla wonders why he doesn't have a manger!! Perfect breaks out some new tricks like a sweet leap frog into a forearm and a superkick. Perfect wins with the Perfect-Plex.

*

Post match, Damien does his thing.

Match#2 Bad News Brown vs Frankie Valdez
News is getting ISNANE heat now he's got a major angle, and it's fantastic hear and see it happening. He bears the dogshit out of poor little Frankie outside of the ring and reigns down a wild mean beating. One of, if not his best squash thus far. He kills the kid with the Blaster to win.
**

In a pre-tape, Demo say the training paid off because they're the BEST, and now they're going to kick POP's teeth in. Ax says they're so tough they live in Elms Street and Freddy Kruger asks their permission to come home. I LOVE DEMO SO MUCH.

Match#3 Red Rooster w/Bobby Heenan vs Scott Casey
Rooster has a cut in thanking Bobby for all he's done for him since he got here, and he's never going to let him down. Rooster of course gets his ass kicked like a loser, so Bobby yells at him for it. Rooster does fine things in his comeback and wins with the Deathlock now dubbed "cock of the walk"
3/4*

WWF Events Center-
-Bobby says a lot of people think Andre can't win the title back or that's afraid, well that's not true at all. Get in his way and he's not taking any responsibility for what Andre does.
-Koko sings about how he's got some amazing fans who send him letters.

Rockers and Busters come out for their match, AND MARTY DIVES OVER THE TOP ROPE AND BEATS THE SHIT OUT OF ARN. Shawn and Tully join in for a massive brawl of insane hate and heat, and it's so fucking great. They fight and fight until the refs finally pull them apart. Incredible angle.

Match#4 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Lanny Poffo

Match#1 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Scott Casey

Rude is back to 2 minutes to squash, so this is a high level one. He bumps around and stooges a ton, and then shuts Casey down and beats him with his now super tight offence and fantastic looking strikes and slams. He uses a gross lariat as well, and it's all stellar. He wins with the RA.

Short one for Tito at a minute or so, but still enough here to get on the board. Great strikes and fire, and he wins with the Forearm.
*

WWF Events Center-
-Jake says he's never passed out from fear, my man. He stands on his own two feet and never fell for 10 minutes like Andre. It's time for him to face his fears, but he always wants him to do with Damien and that's not going to happen.

Stage Interview-
-Randy & Elizabeth are the guests
-Randy says News has shown guts to say the things he said about Liz. His blaster is nothing compared to what he's going to do to him, man. Randy says he's doing him a favour by giving him his demise and there will be no more Bad News as it's the last time he's messing with garbage like him.

WWF Spectrum-17/12

The Rockers vs The Brain Busters
Rockers once again refuse to be bullied by a team and take the fight right to them with speed and double tandems, and the Busters get more and more pissed as they're shown up and made fools of. Arn gets smoked by a dropkick by Marty and shouts "FUCK" as he hits the floor, and then Tully does the same when he eats one. Rockers keep on them and we get Shawn breaking out a stunning Hurricane-Rana on Arn for a near fall. Shawn is finally baited into chasing Tully and eats a gross lariat from Arn on the outside to knock him dead, and the Busters go to work wth a fantastic control seg of classic Horseman violence and shit talking against a blonde pretty boy. Loads of killer cutoffs and Shawn being killed, and my goodness is it awesome. Marty finally gets in and smokes them with punches and a ton of dropkcks and arm drags. Shawn joins back in to help kick their asses, but the ref shoves him back to the corner, AND ARN CLIPS MARTY'S KNEE AS HE TRIES TO SUPLEX TULLY AND TULLY FALLS ON TOP TO STEAL THE WIN.

Randy Savage (c) w/Miss Elizabeth vs King Haku (WWF Worlds Heavyweight Championship)
Our King walks Randy down with chops and knees and beats him down as soon as the bell rings, and Randy's selling is fantastic as he's doubled over in pain and hurt right away as Haku ramps up the hard shots and cheating whenever he can. Savage manages to hold onto the ropes as Haku tries to dropkick him and the big man smacks his body off the mat, and Savage takes the fight to him, but Haku uses the ropes to hang him and takes back over and beats his ass some more. He breaks out headbutts to the body and elbows the ribs and kidneys like a true monster. Randy finally drops down and sends Haku into the ropes face first and then jumps him and quickly hits the elbow as soon as he can to win.

Match#1 Demolition vs Nick Ferrari & Art Penna

Fuck yeah, super angry Demo outing as they beat the puke and stuffing out of these poor poor goofs. A billion amazing shots that are hard and loud as sin, and it's just the best stuff from the best team in the world at this point. Fuji has a cut in saying Demo are lost without their master. Demo prove this is wrong by working even better as a team and double teaming a murder. SMASH PUNCHES A JOBBER IN THE THROAT AND THEN DEMO TAKE HIS HEAD OFF TO WIN. JESUS CHRIST YES.
**

The Brother Love Show-
-I LOOOOOVEEEE YOU
-Andre & Bobby are the guests. They deny Andre being afraid of snakes, and Heenan says the WWF is not a place for animals, let alone serpents, and that snake shouldn't be allowed at ringside or in the ring, and this isn't about whether or not Andre is afraid, it's about Jake needing to control his animal. Andre challenges Jake to fight him like a man without his snake.
-BL brings up fear, AND ANDRE GRABS HIM BY THE THROAT AND BACKS DOWN ONCE HE REALISES IT. He walks off as Bobby hugs BL.

Match#2 Hercules vs Steve Lombardi
Bad Herc work as he's very dull and bad, and not even a super jobber can do much to help him out. Herc wins with his rack.
1/4*

Match#3 Mr Perfect vs Nito Gomez

Way better as Perfect is getting better and more comfy as Perfect as the weeks pass, so this kicks a ton of ass. He schools the kid on the mat and messes with him, and the beats his face in and wins with the Perfect-Plex
**

WWF Events Center-
-Bass yells a lot of about using Betsy to whip people, and he wants Beefcake's hide.
-Rick Rude sees gold in his future as it's his time, and someone is going down be it Savage or Warrior.

Match#4 King Haku w/Bobby Heenan vs Frankie Valdez
Only 90 seconds for our king this week in a real shame, but still fun enough to not be a complete waste. Jesse wonders what will happen if the Mega-Powers meet in the Rumble, and Vince plays it off and instead brings up all the heels that could meet in it. Race has a cut in saying he's the real king and he's getting his crown back. Haku wins with his Superkick
*

WWF Events Center-
-The Stallions are ready to climb that ladder to the tag titles.
-Dino Bravo hates America.

Match#5 The Big Boss Man w/Slick vs Pete Kitchum
Boss also gets shafted at a minute, sadly. Still good fat man murder in the midst of that, but what a crock. Boss wins with his Slam.
*

Post match, he cuffs and beats him.

WWF Update-
-Gene runs down the Rumble participants thus far
-BIG JOHN STUDD IS BACK FOR SOME REASON
-RICK MARTEL IS BACK
-Ron Garvin is here!!!
-Brain Busters

-Savage
-Harts/Duggan vs Rougeau/Bravo in a 2/3 falls match.
-Race vs Haku for the crown
-Warrior vs Rude in a super pose down.

Match#6 The Ultimate Warrior vs Conquistador#1
Fine 90 seconds for Warrior as goes the theme of the night. Fine reckless offence before he wins with the Combo.
*

Match#7 Greg Valentine & Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart vs Paul Brown & Rex Farmer
Oh no, Greg is now being forced to team with HTM in what will soon become a regular awful thing for me and you. Greg does the best he can possibly do and it rules, but HTM is a void of anything good or fun, and really drags this down to his terrible level. Greg wins with the Figure Four.
1/3*

WWF Events Center-
-News says he got fined for telling the truth and nothing can stop him from being honest and winning the world title from that coward. He's ready to also fight Hogan or Duggan if he needs to.

Match#1 Brutus Beefcake vs Jim Atkinson

I got back from camping yesterday and got bitten by mosquitos all over my legs, and it's actually less painful than watching Brutus try to wrestle for 2 minutes. Hate him so much. He wins with his lame ass sleeper.
An itch you can't scratch.

Post match, Beef takes some hair off like a real jerk.

They replay Hogan beating up BL on SNME.

Match#2 The Brain Busters w/Bobby Heenan vs Lanny Poffo & Jim Brunzell
The Busters get 3 minutes to run right through two massive nerds in classic form, and it's another tremendous squash for them as they've just gotten better and better despite already being amongst the best in the world. Love watching them take them apart from limb to limb as they damn well should to dorks like them. Tully wins with his Slingshot Suplex
**

WWF Events Center-
-Boss Man has a new stick and a new set of handcuffs to use on anyone who stands in his way of beating and putting Hogan in jail for good.
-Koko says you've gotta be someone when you're hear and he loves the fans.

Match#3 Bad News Brown vs Nito Gomez
News gets time again as he unloads a shit kicking on this guy to show he's not to be messed with, and even Gorilla admits he's a formidable challenger for Savage. News wins with the Blaster.
*3/4

WWF Events Center-
-'Blue Blazer's outstanding moves will astound you"-Sean Mooney
-Blazer is like a razor that gets sharper every match as he's never lost in the WWF. He's ready to take on every challenger.
-Bobby and Andre say nothing new.

Match#4 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs Tim Horner
Horner attacks from behind with a sick back suplex and goes on a wild 20 second run of offence, but Ted shuts him down and beats the shit out of him for such a thing. Ted is again SO violent and mean as he's laying in everything super hard and gross, and he doesn't waste a single second. He wins with the MDD.
**

Stage Interview-
-Jake is the guest this week.
-He talks about fear and how he's not scared to fight and he wants to see Andre real soon. He knows he made Andre look bad and embarrassed him, but Jake has never felt fear or fell down and now Andre has. He's aced the hole and he and Damien are looking for him, brother.

Match#5 King Haku w/Bobby Heenan vs Scott Casey
Another short one for Haku as he's getting screwed for time in a bad call. It's still good because Haku is GOOD, but fuck give him some time and not to dork. He wins with the Superkick

Match#1 Akeem w/Slick vs Jaun Valdez

Akeem gets 2 minutes for the first time in a long time, so this whips a ton of ass as he kills the kid with fat and awesome clubs and sledges. The big man wins with the 747
**

Brother Love Show-
-I LOOOOVEEEEEEEEE YOUUUUU
-BL gives a sermon on making comebacks in life, and this man is 6ft7 and 385 pounds. Big John Studd. OH GREAT.
-He comes out and gets booed a lot, and he looks really bad as he's gained a ton of weight since he left. BL talks about how he used to be bad and scary and he knows it's true because of Bobby Heenan. in saying that, he brings Heenan out to the set, but Studd turns his back on him like a jerk. He refuses to shake his hand and calls him a weasel. Bobby says they're family, so John says he's not part of the Heenan family any more. He's going to be at the Rumble and he's going to throw all of them out. Bobby throws his hands up and storms off.

Match#2 The Powers of Pain w/Mr Fuji vs Lanny Poffo & Joe Cruz
Woooo, more murder of stupid stinky nerds by giant ass monsters that club and smash the piss out of them in super reckless and cool ways. Barb is again a massive standout as he's throwing bombs with every shot as he crushes faces and bodies. Barb wins with his flying Headbutt.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Ted is true royalty as his money as shown over the last year. He's ready to throw everyone out every two minutes and win it all.
-Barber is going to chop some hair.
-Bobby says he's going with Haku because he has the crown, but if Race wins he'll be with him in the limo. Haku gets really mad, so Bobby plays it off like his hands are tied and he has no choice but to support both.

Match#3 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Tony Suber
Jesse says if would have known Duggan was going to hold his flag, he would have never fought in Vietnam for his freedoms. Good Hack squash as he gets to chop down a big jobber with hard shots and lots of hooooing and marching as is the norm. Hack wins with the 3 Point.
*3/4

WWF Events Center-
-Bobby explains the rules of the Rumble as he says he hopes everyone is there when Andre gets there. Andre shouts he's not scared of anyone and he doesn't care who it is, he's winning.
-Hogan talks about ZZ Top and Fandango as he says he's ready to fight 30 dudes if need be. It doesn't matter what number as he gets as everyone there is his enemy and he wants to beat on them all. He's going to win so he can get his #1 contender spot back, and you know what that means. He grunts and moonwalks off the set.

Match#4 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs ?
Jobber's not named, but it doesn't matter as Rude makes mincemeat of him with his great looking offence for 90 seconds. Also, he has new airbrushed tights with his face on them, and it's an all time look. Rude wins with the RA.

Match#5 Bad News Brown vs ?
News murders the kid in 20 seconds with the Blaster
YEAH

News gets the mic and says he knows Randy is hiding behind Liz's skirt, so come out here and prove you're not afraid of him. He knows she's pulling favours for Tunney. HE HEADBUTTS THE REF IN THE FACE AND BEATS HIM UP, AND RANDY RUNS DOWN AND ATTACKS HIM AND BEATS THE CRAP OUT OF HIM. News fights back and throws some punches before the locker-room empties and breaks it up. Savage gets free and tackles him again, so News needs to be dragged away by the heel, BUT RANDY HITS A FUCKING TOPE ONTO THEM AS THE TAPE CUTS AWAY.

Match#6 Ron Garvin vs Barry Hororwitz
Ron is here after quitting the NWA over terrible payoffs and being sick of Dusty's shit. He's an all time short scary man that hits harder than anyone has maybe hit before, and he can rip a limb off on the mat. He's the best. He stomps Barry to death and then wins with the Piledriver.
**

The Bushwhackers hang out with Gene dressed as Santa,

Match#7 Ron Bass vs Martin Roy
Fine squash for Bass as he's mostly cooked and done caring, but he can still do ok bully stuff and make it work enough. He wins with his Pedigree
*

WWF Events Center-
-Tito is ready to fight everyone/
-Boss Man is going to wreak and break Hogan on his way to winning it all
-Warrior shouts about a different form of combat as he's been chosen to pose with what God has given him. The Warriors will choose the winner.
