Since the recent injuries to WWE's top stars, Vince McMahon has been described as "on edge" and "unhappy with the product now." The lack of depth of main event talent is said to frustrate and worry Vince. WWE officials have been criticized for recent decisions and not working to elevate talent such as MVP and Jack Swagger. Both wrestlers have been highly praised and some have questioned why they were moved to Raw only to become midcarders.

Most within the company also feel the development system is doing a horrible job of producing ready talent, and the success in recruiting top athletes has declined.

Agreed. You look back at the guys that came up and you know which guys were going to be stars (MVP, Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, Hart Foundation). Now, now, who have we gotten from development? Yoshi Tatsu, Tyler Reks, Sheamus. None of those guys are going to make it to the main event, that's for sure.

WWE have labeled Swagger as the next Orton/Cena since his debut. It didn't really matter if the fans liked him or not, they knew what they were going to do with him.

MVP doesn't have a big enough following to go main event. He gets a slightly better reaction than Jesse and Festus used to get. Atleast when MVP comes out the fans try to turn their heads towards the ramp, but when Jesse and Festus came out they just stared into outer space.

Vince should be pissed, the guest hosts are bombing and Orton/HHH really made people lose faith in the Raw main event scene.

Yoshi is surprisingly getting good reactions from the fans in his 2nd match I believe. It's not will they make it to the main event, it's how far WWE will push him. Tyler Reks just seems generic, and Sheamus, he seems good, but imo, he has a long way to go. These guys just debuted a month ago, so you can't expect them to be great.

Yes, you can expect them to be great. I am not saying they aren't good workers not entertaining, but I am saying that you will never see Yoshi Tatsu facing Triple H for the WWE Championship for example, whereas with Jack Swagger and David Hart Smith, it's not a matter of if, is a matter of when.

As of right now, since the latest re calling of DH Smith, development has not produced a future World Champion

Chris Masters. The guy has potential. Shit, if it came down to it, they could main event a heel turned Goldust for a month. I've said it before: The fans would respond to the classic Goldust. It'd be a temporary fix and it could work.

Raw ratings are way up compared to last year. Obviously, the guest hosts and Orton/HHH/Cena are doing their jobs.

Exactly what I was referring to when I quoted SP in that Raw is a piece of shit. If MVP was still on Smackdown, he'd be main eventing with John Morrison, CM Punk, and Jeff Hardy right now, sigh. Seriously, Smackdown is where it's at, and it's more of the WWE was FORCED to finally push guys up like Morrison more than they wanted to.. long fucking overdue. Fuck Zack Ryder, absolutely no one should get their push to the main event ahead of MVP at this point (unless it's Carlito). Other then Carlito/MVP, Masters is the obvious choice.. Shelton if they can do something with him.

Why were [MVP & Swagger] moved to Raw only to become midcarders.

...Same goes for Henry.

Fair enough, wait for the right time, but both Henry & MVP have yet to solidify their face turns... Give them a fued; something that will further get the fans behind them... Something to do that will get them on PPV.

MVP since coming to Raw has been particularly tragic, jobbed clean for his title to Kofi, jobbed to clean to Swagger in a one-match deal and played bit-parts in a bunch of cluster-fuck 4 or 6-ways... The only guy he's gone over is a cast-wielding Matt Hardy, FFS!

I think that MVP should get into the Main Event scene by Survivor Series to be honest, he already has had a taste of the Main event scene and can hold his own, remember his wars and street fights, inferno match and other encounters with former champion Kane. Sure he is a jobber but for a man that at the time was only a mid carder and a year I think in the company, he did pretty well for himself getting good heel reactions against the big man.

The sum of MVP's ME experience = A few minutes in an EC, a few mins in a championship scramble and a 5 min no-finnish clash with Orton on Raw.....

(To be fair, all you have described above was mid-card stuff against a guy that was midcarding at said point in his career.)

Hardly a proven ME player.

As for MVP being in the ME mix by SSeries... Not saying it won't happen, but if it did it'd be shit.... He's so un-credible right now and depending on the arena he's getting fuck all fan response.

Shit thing is (as with Henry) there's no other ME heels on Raw right now against which to build them up which is why I say pair the two of them up and have them take on Show & Jericho.... And reluctantly put MVP's/ME plans on ice again until about the same time next year (Morrison for Mr MITB-2010, hands down!).

The problem is, Vince has signed off on HHH vs. Orton, and Cena vs. Orton. What needs to happen, I'm completely not bullshitting here, is bring back HBK. Trade away Cena for Jeff Hardy (since Hardy wants to take time off and Smackdown will need a face) to get Cena back in a title picture but away from Orton and HHH and burying the talented mid-card of potential main eventers that Raw has (besides, I'd love to see Cena vs. Jericho on Smackdown, and maybe... JUST MAYBE... they'll use him to build the credibility of someone like Morrison just that much more.

Besides, think of Cena on SmackDown if Miz does end up going over there. Miz could pull the "oh Cena can't stop following me around" card, and actually go over Cena (clean or not) while they're there to boost Miz like they should have done over on Raw with these Blue writers.

Then you can clean some spots for Orton (Triple H and HBK as DX wouldn't be fighting Orton for the belt), so you elevate Henry to a feud to test the waters and see how he's taken. If it goes well, extend the feud and maybe put the strap on him. Swagger moves up, MVP moves up, create some fresher storylines. Fuck, even throw Kofi in (he's been about as impressive IN-RING as anyone recently, especially the sick ass kick he gave to Show after the Show/Bourne match). Both shows win.

proven? what, you want them to main event a couple PPVs via non-title matches (which means major feuds,,,in other words, doesn't fucking happen) so we could test them? bullshit, shoot a guy from the midcard to the main event straight ahead. it will never work any other way these days and if it does, it'll be by the time the superstar has gotten stale/boring.

edit-

mvp, miz, masters and swagger. one of them has to hold a world title before the rumble or ill be pissed.
