Good news, after returning to my BTB, I have now completed booking my first month of 2026 from WrestleKingdom to GrandSummit. Need to now do the Win/Loss breakdown and Pound For Pound but has been fun so far.

Will be taking a short break from my 3 BTBs for the holidays. Expect back up and running in 2026 with the full Payback 2015 show (Heist of the century BTB) , Full Elimination Chamber 2025 (Last Time Is Now BTB), and the Road to Summerslam 2004 (the Blueprint). Looking ahead to 2026, I would love any suggestions or feedback on how we can make the BTB section better.

For one, I’d love to figure out a better prize for BTBOTM than the simple label. I used to pin the winner but I felt like that actually made it easier to overlook the btb than highlight it.

but yeah, always open to suggestions. also curious to see if we should do some end of year awards. I didn’t run them last year because nominations tend to be the hardest thing to garher.

I have a couple ideas for next year but yeah, feel free voice yourself!

I would be down for awards, I think we had a really strong year on here and a lot of writers should be rewarded in some capacity for the hard work they put in...plus I wouldn't mind making gfx for it. However, I know how taxing running people down for nominations is, especially around the holidays.

In terms of BTBOTM, I always had an idea where the winner should be interviewed in some sort of capacity, being asked questions about that month's win. Almost an abridged version of Art of Booking that used to run on WC, but with questions geared towards the content put out for the month. Almost like an "Inside the Mind" of the BTBOTM winner for that particular month. I wouldn't be opposed to helping out with that, either. Just some thoughts!

I would say awards should be something in maybe March or somewhere over the summer. The first go round of that time frame might be rough assuming we would go beginning of 2025 to let's say June 2026, but beyond that we could go back to just the year.

Hello all,

Just wanted to say I have really enjoyed the last 6 months doing my own BTB and reading others. There are some really creative people on here.

I have to admit that now I have published my first card, it's presented a problem as I feel a tad burnt out. I think for me, I enjoy the build, describing what happened to get to a certain point. Setting the scene almost.

Now I have reached that point and after creating and building the world I will now take a bit of a step back. Reflect and see if I have it in me to either continue with this world or maybe create something new / something different. I have a couple of ideas but need time to rest and do other stuff.
