    It's pretty easily explainable: the WWE doesn't look at in-ring talent as the main reason to market someone. What also doesn't help is the bookers tend to want to push the wrestlers they helped get over rather than the ones the fans simply connected to on their own.

    Source? Also, was the amount adjusted for inflation? Finally, are we talking money taken in or actual profit? Um, fans and outsiders covers pretty much everybody, so if they're not popular, how are they making all this money? If @Tsar is right, they will be airing the match, which is good.

    As for recent, Hunter said on the Stone Cold podcast last year that they didn't want to talk about a porn star on a PG show. Probably bullshit since it doesn't cover the near decade before that, but there you go. Nicole Bass comes to mind. She was at least billed as 6'2" and 240 lbs.

    It kind of had to since PPV events didn't exist for half the decade, and it wasn't until 1989 that there were four shows a year (the '88 Royal Rumble was a special on USA). That said, they would usually air the title switch after the fact on one of the syndicated shows and/or Prime Time...

    Fair enough, but at the same time people want to be able to see title changes, especially in this day and age. Was there even a camera crew there so they can throw the match on the Network some time later? If not, then this was a huge mistake on the part of WWE/NXT, injury or not. Either way...

    I was never a real fan of hers, but it always sucks when someone dies. Still, not too surprised given her history of drug abuse. Hopefully the WWE will do a public acknowledgement. I know her doing porn isn't very PG, but this is a person's life, after all.

    I'm curious just what the violations were. I could see Konnor being caught with some sort of HGH or steroids, but Rose doesn't really look like someone who uses them.

    Like a lot of new sign-ups, I was a member of the TWF forum, which is shutting down. Most of the members there were talking about this site, so I'm checking things out.
