So today I borrowed my missus' laptop to create the world and characters and to book all my shows for NSW, and also to begin work on a new project for which I need EWR (probably actually need TEW, but I dont have the time nor inclination for the new versions).

Soooo... because I do all my writing on my phone (which has been a delight, as you can all imagine), holy hell I did not realise all my graphics were taking up ALL OF THE SPACE haha! So if that was off-putting to anyone (it would be for me) I have resized the graphics and tried to make it a bit more accessible to scroll through and look without your screen getting stretched wider than, well, I'll leave that imagery up to you.

I'm just impressed you write your shows on your phone. I can barely write a text message without getting tired of typing on it.

If anyone has any picture base ideas or even e-fed characters they have used/seen/ or really like in the past, I won't complain as I start to populate my new project. As I attempt something a bit more in depth

Picture base idea: Silas Young and Big Damo as a Tag.

Hey Y'all

I just wanted to post an update about my current project, I am still fully commited to it and won't be starting any other threads this year.

With the above being stated I have just got other things on my plate at the moment such as my exercise and diet, as well as trying to get back into an old hobby of mine which is writing fantasy stories, like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

No doubt asked a million times, but I'm wondering if people here are bookers that get forced to write to bring their ideas to light, or writer's that have ideas and promos and such they want to write about, and then have to book to give that writing structure?

I'm 100% in the first category. For example, I have my ROH 2004 diary, but because I'm a completionist I also book WWE and TNA (and key indie shows from CHIKARA/PWG/IWA:MS etc) which can be incredibly overwhelming keeping track of everything (I use excel to track what every person in my world is up to), but because I am obsessed with realism driving every decision (probably why I've never tackled the Invasion Angle, because of all that contractual mess) I find it incredibly satisfying being able to track everyone's journey so that someone who I've booked strong in PWG could perhaps show up an ROH Do or Die down the line and it feel better than just picking from the real show line up, and adjusting for any changes I've made that might have an impact. It also stops me from being selfish and thinking ROH is the centre of the wrestling world just because I'm booking it, when in reality, if some of my guys in ROH become hella over, then WWE/TNA are coming calling, and the realistic thing is that they're getting poached and I need to build some news stars.

It all just varies. Back in the day, I was very much more fantasy driven and did what I wanted cause I wanted to. With WCW Lives I’m trying to balance the lines of how would the world be realistically operating to a degree.

I think my problem is getting a sweet idea I wanna do down the line, but having to get through what I’ve got currently to get there.

Hey Y'all

Can I ask y'all for some advice? I keep hearing stuff and reading stuff about the whole McMahon lawsuit thing, it makes me uncomfortable writing a WWE style btb.

So yeah should I continue on? Or go with another idea I have had about a completely made up company with all my own creations?

Thaaaaaaaaaaanks in advance

I would write what you feel comfortable with. Tbf I have had the same debates and it's in part why I barely watch a lot of current WWE. I made a personal choice for example to cut Brock Lesnar as didn't like the idea using him but at the end of the day, it needs to be what you feel comfortable with
