Idk about Smark's reactions to it either tho, mostly bc they were the exact opposite of mine (he thought it was a good idea to vote 0 post Brett bc of the deadline rules, I didn't really but that could be philosophical differences). Smark buddies as town all the time too so for me ya à bit icky but what's the motivation on a player who aren't falls for that. Last game he buddied me as town and I still considered voted him and pushed him.

I thought he was scum then he got copped scum so I felt vindicated but by the end of that day it became obvious that logistically he was telling the truth lol it's guys like him and for other reasons Barry that are my worst bc I just read them wrong 90% of the time so it makes me just want to go with the opposite of my gut. And gut felt weird about the posts

I read it as fodder, Poyser working on as much info as we can have at this point. I also don't think Smark was intentionally "lying".

The main sus read I have from this game is Smark quickly buddying with Jean and also feeling the need to backpack / regurgitate Jean's points. Just felt uber convenient for Smark to do this. The smart town play during this stage is to just vote someone and see how they react. Smark breaking down why he suspected me last game and just outright saying it makes the plan almost null.

I was going to mention this as well. Dude was marking out talking in fuckin morse code to you last game while you were serial killer. So as much as I have a sus read on smark, I also know that there's precedent that bro just does this
