WWE Raw #1706 – Feb 2nd, 2026

[The crowd is red hot as fireworks blast. Camera pans the arena.]

“VOICES” hits — the arena explodes.
Randy Orton steps onto the stage, battered, slow, smirking, the 2026 Royal Rumble winner. He slowly makes his way down to the ring, while taking in the massive reception from the crowd.

Randy Orton:
“Twenty-four hours ago… I reminded the world exactly who the hell I am.”

“I walked into the Royal Rumble with every superstar and every ‘future of the business’ telling me my time was up… and I walked out holding the one ticket that guarantees me the main event of WrestleMania.”

Crowd chants: “RANDY! RANDY! RANDY!”

“Now, ordinarily? This is where the Viper strikes. This is where I make my decision. But I think I’ll let the anticipation… burn a little longer.”

“So listen close… Because I’m saying this once: I will announce my WrestleMania opponent… at Elimination Chamber.”

Crowd reacts big — mixed cheers and boos.

“Until then? I’ll be watching. And the entire WWE locker room will be praying I don’t pick them.”

**“BROKEN DREAMS” hits — massive heat.

Drew McIntyre marches to the ring, eyes locked on Randy.**

Drew McIntyre:
“Ye waiting? That’s rich, Randy.”

“You come out here with your wee smirk like you’re in control… but I know what this is.”

“You’re stalling… because you’re scared of me.”

“I felt it last night. When it was just you and me in that ring for those last seconds… your eyes told the truth. You know that if you pick me for WrestleMania… I finish you.”

“Not just beat you. Not just embarrass you. I retire you, Randy Orton.”

Drew steps closer, towering over him.

“So go to Elimination Chamber. Go pretend to think it over. But we both know your story ends when you pick me.”

** “CULT OF PERSONALITY” blasts — arena ERUPTS.

CM Punk storms out with a mic, pacing with a grin.**

CM Punk:
“Wow, wow, wow. Drew McIntyre talking about fear? That’s cute.”

“Drew, the only thing more boring than your voice is your insecurity.”

Crowd laughs and cheers

“Randy’s not scared of you, big man. And I’m sure as hell not.”

“But what I am sick of? Listening to you act like some unstoppable monster when you’ve spent the last year choking every time it mattered.”

Drew bristles — Punk keeps going.

“You wanna talk tough? Fine. You’re a tough guy. But you’re also a—”

Punk pauses, leans into the mic.

“—a pussy.”

“Yeah, I said it. And if you’ve got a problem with it? Do something about it.”

Punk points at the ring.

“Matter of fact, I don’t care if Randy picks me for WrestleMania or not. Because I’m right here, right now.”

“So how about you find yourself a partner…”

“…and tonight’s main event is Randy Orton and CM Punk…”

“…versus Drew McIntyre and whoever is dumb enough to stand next to you?”

Crowd LOUD

Punk smirks:
“Come on, Braveheart. Say yes.”

Drew McIntyre:
“…You’re on.”

“And I’ll find a partner. Good luck surviving the night, boys.”

Drew stares down Randy. Randy stares back. Punk flips Drew off behind Randy’s back.

The match is set. The crowd is molten. RAW fades into its opening pyro package.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Camera slams to ringside; Michael Cole and Corey Graves sit at the commentary desk as the crowd buzzes from the explosive opening segment.]

Michael Cole:
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Monday Night RAW! We are coming off an absolutely unforgettable Royal Rumble, and tonight promises to be just as chaotic — Corey, what a way to kick things off!”

Corey Graves:
“Randy Orton and CM Punk teaming up? Drew McIntyre hunting for a partner? That main event is going to be ridiculous, Cole. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.”

Cole:
“Absolutely — and speaking of last night, we’re going to hear from a man who shocked the world. After surviving an absolute war and saving his career, AJ Styles will be here live to address the WWE Universe after defeating GUNTHER!”

Graves:
“I still can’t believe he did it, Cole. GUNTHER threw everything at him — chops so loud they should’ve come with a warning label — but Styles refused to die!”

Cole:
“And that’s not all — HUGE championship implications tonight! The RAW Tag Team Titles are on the line when The Usos defend against the duo of Logan Paul and Austin Theory!”

Graves:
“I love the Usos, but let’s be real: Logan Paul and Austin Theory together? That’s an influencer supernova.”

Cole:
“In women’s action, the former Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley steps back into the ring for a one-on-one clash with Ivy Nile!”

Graves:
“Ivy Nile wants to prove she belongs at the top. But Rhea Ripley? She’s basically a boss battle.”

Cole:
“And after weeks away recovering from the brutal beatdown at the hands of the Viking Raiders… Dominik Mysterio makes his return tonight! He will team with Finn Bálor to take on Erik and Ivar!”

Graves:
“Oh, thank the wrestling gods — RAW hasn’t been the same without Dirty Dom! And tonight, the Judgment Day brothers ride again.”

Cole (excited):
“Folks, buckle up — because after the most shocking Royal Rumble in years, Monday Night RAW is stacked and it’s only just getting started!”

He glances down…

“You want me to help you? For them?”

He taps the title on Drew’s shoulder.

“Maybe I help myself instead.”

Rusev steps back, shaking his head.

Drew McIntyre walks into frame, the World Championship slung over his shoulder, frustration written across his face after already being turned down by one potential partner tonight.

He stops.

Standing together near a production crate is the faction known as The Vision:

Logan Paul
Austin Theory
Bron Breakker
Bronson Reed

The group is laughing among themselves when Drew steps forward.

Drew McIntyre
“So this is perfect. Four big, tough lads standing around doing nothing.”

Drew looks directly at Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

“Tonight I need a partner. Orton and Punk want a fight. One of you joins me, and we can make an example of them.”

Before anyone answers, Paul Heyman suddenly steps forward from behind the group.

Heyman raises a finger and calmly slides between Drew and The Vision.

Paul Heyman
“Let’s just… stop right there.”

Heyman straightens his tie and looks up at Drew’s championship.

He slowly walks around Drew, studying the title.

Paul Heyman
“Drew… Drew… Drew…”
“You walk around here tonight looking for allies, holding that championship like it’s security.”

He taps the belt with one finger.

“But the truth… is much simpler.”

Heyman smiles coldly.

Paul Heyman
“You’re not building an army…”
“You’re running.”

Logan Paul chuckles behind him.

Austin Theory shakes his head.

Bron Breakker cracks his neck, staring Drew down.

Paul Heyman
“You see Drew… you’re not being ignored tonight.”
He leans closer.
“You’re being hunted.”

Heyman gestures toward The Vision.

Paul Heyman
“My clients… my Vision… are not interested in helping you.”

He looks back at the title again.

“Because very soon…”
“…that championship won’t belong to you anymore.”

Drew clenches his jaw but says nothing.

Bronson Reed steps forward slightly, looming over Drew before Heyman holds an arm out to stop him.

Paul Heyman
“So go ahead. Keep looking for your partner tonight.”

Heyman smirks.

“Because sooner or later… you’re going to run out of places to hide.”

The Vision slowly walks away behind Heyman.

Drew watches them leave, gripping the championship tighter on his shoulder.
