Read the results, saw nothing noteworthy to catch up on. Then saw the general IWC reaction and realised how bad this show is being recieved. Ouch.

To play devil's advocate if Show were to turn heel and interfere in the mian event, it would make perfect sense.
Because you see Johnny was the one who fired him and theoretically he's the one who can rehire him after the PPV.

I don't think Show interfering works well in a story, unless you're trying to make Show look like a bigger pussy than he already did last night. Laurinaitis isn't a man of his word, so Show has no reason to believe that Laurinaitis would give him his job back if he interferes.
