I find it strange that they write out the details of each match. That's kinda lame actually.

WTF? Why'd they cut CM Punk?

I'm guessing time constraints. This Punk/JBL angle looks like it could be pretty cool and they probably wanted to make sure it was given sufficient time. Hopefully we see this next Monday or something.

I'd love to see Punk vs JBL for the IC belt at Mania. They could have JBL arrange to screw Punk out of his MITB spot to set up this match.

^^^Nice script that. Imagine them typing or writing that? And the pressure of putting on a good show? I envisioned it to be like that also along with chuck.

Jericho was originally planned to hit Snuka w/ the coconut. I can't believe they cut that out.

 Dean Malenko wrote the Orton/HHH promo

I guess HHH wasn't supposed to say that he'd break Orton's back originally. He was supposed to whisper in his ear

The script itself is pretty interesting.

Bring it on! I'm absolutely gagging for something like this to happen, be it with JBL or someone else.

The only thing is we'll have seen an almost identical fued between JBL and Punk about 6 months ago when Punk was WHC ("paper champion", "not in the same class", "bring prestige back to the title" blah blah.)

I think the WWE could actually play off of that and pull from their mini-feud from mid-2008. There is some heat there, and rekindling it for Wrestlemania would be great.

^^Yup, I was thinking the same. Continue off that "transitional champ" gimmick from when Punk was holding the WHC. I really do like JBL, he's incredible on the mic and does a great job in most of the feuds he is in. I just don't know if he would be appropriate for the main event now-a-days. Him in the IC title division would definately bring some nice focus to it.

It would be a hell of a WM opener, kinda like Mysterio/Guerrero from WM 21.

I guess... I hadn't thought of it like that

Punk clashing with JBL again on JBLs way down the 'ladder of success' works well, however, I'm still left pertubed by the way it reflects on Punk - Effectively suggesting he's on the 'decline' too. If it was the other way round (i.e. IC fued THEN WHC fued) maybe I'd be a bit more keen as it wouldn't be for a lesser title second time round.
