Yeah same, that's why I'll always give the benefit of the doubt in situations like this even if people then come at me for "defending him"

But in the same vein I'm not going to go at the girl and call her a liar like I know some people already are because she gets the benefit of the doubt that she's telling the truth as well. Some people don't seem to be able to make that distinction, they have to pick a side
