Commentary: Michael Cole and Corey Graves

Cody Rhodes is walking backstage.

Jimmy Uso stops Cody Rhodes, looking serious.

Jimmy Uso: Cody, I hate to ask this question, but I have to. Did you attack Jacob Fatu?

Cody Rhodes: Jimmy, I’m looking you straight in the eyes. I never attacked Jacob. I’m offended that you think I would do something that low.

Jimmy Uso: I’m sorry. I just want answers about what happened to my cousin. He was loyal to me when I had issues with Solo, and I want to return the favour.

Cody Rhodes: I understand. I’ll help you find the culprit.

Jimmy Uso: Thanks. That means a lot.

Cody Rhodes walks off.

Jimmy Uso stands there in deep thought

Cody Rhodes walks out to the ring.

Cody Rhodes: So… what do you want to talk about?

Do you want to talk about my win against Drew McIntyre last week?

Honestly, I don’t even call it a win. Drew McIntyre had his foot on the rope and the referee didn’t see it.

I want to be a fair sportsman, so I’m giving Drew McIntyre a rematch for my WWE Undisputed Championship at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

We need a real winner between me and Drew McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre appears on the stage.

Drew McIntyre: Fair sportsman? Don’t make me laugh.

You’re only giving me a rematch because everyone knows you cheated, and you don’t want the **WWEUniverse talking about it.

You’re the biggest fake in this company!

You’ve got Nick Aldis and the referees kissing your ass.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, a new era will begin.

But that’s not why I came out here, Cody.

Let’s talk about who could be suspects in attacking Jacob Fatu.

I think Cody Rhodes has a good motive.

Cody was scared of Jacob Fatu. Scared that he might take his WWE Undisputed Championship. So he cowardly attacked Jacob Fatu.

But I have another suspect: Jimmy Uso.

Roman Reigns told The Usos he needed a break from them.

Heartbreak is a hard thing to deal with, Jimmy.

Then Jey Uso would rather chase the World Heavyweight Championship than listen to you.

Maybe you’re jealous of your cousin… the same cousin you didn’t want in The Bloodline until it benefited you.

Maybe you saw Jacob becoming successful and couldn’t handle the jealousy.

Maybe you took Jacob out.

Cody Rhodes: Enough! Have some respect!

Jimmy Uso suddenly superkicks Drew McIntyre.

Jimmy Uso and Drew McIntyre start brawling.

Officials rush down and separate them

Commercial Break

Hikuleo and Tama Tonga

(accompanied by Tonga Loa, Solo Sikoa, and Jeff Cobb)

vs

Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix

During the match, Jeff Cobb and Tonga Loa distract the referee.

While the referee is distracted, Solo Sikoa enters the ring and hits Rey Mysterio with a Samoan Spike, then quickly leaves the ring.

Tama Tonga takes advantage and goes for the pin.

Tama Tonga pins Rey Mysterio for the win

Backstage – Nick Aldis’ Office

Jimmy Uso walks into the office of Nick Aldis.

Jimmy Uso: I came to WWE SmackDown tonight looking for answers about who attacked my cousin, Jacob Fatu.

All I’ve gotten are accusations that I attacked my own cousin. That made my blood boil. I would never hurt Jacob!

The only person who benefits from Jacob being injured is Drew McIntyre. It made Drew the number one contender for the WWE Undisputed Championship.

I want my revenge against Drew McIntyre in a match tonight.

Nick Aldis: I understand your theory, Jimmy. I can’t prove it was Drew, but I am looking into it.

But I’m happy to give you that match. How about a Street Fight?

Jimmy Uso smiles.

Jimmy Uso: Sounds good to me

Tiffany Stratton vs Alexa Bliss

After a competitive match, Tiffany Stratton hits her finisher and pinfalls Alexa Bliss for the win.

Winner: Tiffany Stratton

After the match, Jade Cargill storms into the ring and clotheslines Tiffany Stratton.

Jade Cargill then stands tall in the ring, sending a clear message to Tiffany Stratton

Ilja Dragunov is walking backstage with the United States Championship.

LA Knight steps in front of him.

Ilja Dragunov: LA, I’m sorry about the way you lost your title.

LA Knight: Ilja, it wasn’t your fault. I would’ve done the same thing. So congratulations on becoming the United States Champion… yeah!

Ilja Dragunov: That means a lot. I will keep the open challenge going.

LA Knight smiles.

LA Knight: Ilja Dragunov, you’re going to be a good champion.

Ilja Dragunov and LA Knight shake hands

Cathy Kelley is standing by with Jade Cargill.

Cathy Kelley: Jade, why did you attack Tiffany Stratton?

Jade Cargill: I’m declaring right now that I run the women’s division on WWE SmackDown… and I’m coming for the SmackDown Women’s Championship!

Jade Cargill walks off.

Cathy Kelley looks shocked.

United States Championship Open Challenge

Ilja Dragunov stands in the ring with the United States Championship.

Ilja Dragunov:

My first night back after being injured for a year… and I win the United States Championship. What a feeling!

But I said I would keep the Open Challenge going.

So who wants to face me tonight for the United States Championship?

Music hits.

Rusev walks out, accompanied by Lana.

United States Championship Match

Rusev (with Lana)

vs

Ilja Dragunov (c)

During the match, Finn Bálor’s music suddenly hits.

However, Finn Bálor doesn’t appear.

Rusev looks confused and turns toward the stage.

Ilja Dragunov quickly rolls him up.

Ilja Dragunov pins Rusev for the win.

Winner and still United States Champion: Ilja Dragunov

Ilja Dragunov celebrates in the ring.

Rusev looks furious.

Finn Bálor then appears on the stage, laughing at Rusev.

Carmelo Hayes appears on the screen.

Carmelo Hayes:

I thought The Miz was going to be a mentor to me… someone who would make me a better superstar on WWE SmackDown.

But he became obsessed with us becoming SmackDown Tag Team Champions. That’s not something I’m chasing in my career.

I told The Miz straight—I want to be a singles superstar.

The Miz took that rejection really hard. It wasn’t personal.

But he made it personal… when he attacked me.

So Miz, if you want a fight…

I’ll give you a fight.

Carmelo Hayes stares intensely into the camera.

Ilja Dragunov is walking backstage, looking happy after successfully defending his United States Championship.

Suddenly, he comes face to face with Tama Tonga.

The two men stare at each other in silence.

Dragunov grips the United States Championship tightly as the tension rises.

Tama Tonga smirks.

The two continue their intense staredown.

Main Event – Street Fight

Jimmy Uso vs Drew McIntyre

After a brutal Street Fight, Drew McIntyre pinfalls Jimmy Uso for the win.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

After the match, Drew McIntyre grabs a steel chair and continues attacking Jimmy Uso.

Drew repeatedly hits Jimmy with the chair.

Drew McIntyre:

Don’t you dare blame me for your problems in the future!

Suddenly, Cody Rhodes runs down to the ring.

Drew McIntyre turns and hits Cody Rhodes with a Claymore Kick.

Cody crashes to the mat.

Drew McIntyre picks up the WWE Undisputed Championship and raises it high above his head while standing over Cody Rhodes.

RAW – 27 October 2025

Commentary: Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett

Jey Uso standing in the ring.

Jey Uso: I’ve had a rough few weeks.
I had Roman Reigns telling me and my twin brother Jimmy Uso that he needs a break from The Usos.
That hurt.
But I’ve moved on.
Then I had Jimmy in my ear every week complaining about the way I was treating Penta and saying I was focusing too much on the World Heavyweight Championship.
It was a pain.
Yes, I eliminated my brother from the Battle Royal.
Jimmy, it wasn’t anything personal.
My dream is to win the World Heavyweight Championship, and you were in the way of my goal.
But I still love you, Uce.”

CM Punk’s music hits.

CM Punk walks out smiling.
CM Punk: This Saturday at Saturday Night’s Main Event, we have CM Punk vs. Jey Uso for the Vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
Jey, you need time away from Roman Reigns.
You need to show the world you’re not stuck in Roman’s shadow.
This break will do you a lot of good.
I respect your passion to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
You even eliminated your own brother to get that opportunity.
But will the pain you caused your brother Jimmy be worth it?
Because on Saturday, I’m going to win the Vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
And Jey Uso will be just as heartbroken as his twin brother Jimmy.”

Jey Uso looks annoyed at Punk’s comments.

Jey Uso:“Uce, you’re doing what you do best — speaking trash.
But this moment will be worth it.
I’ll show the world that I’ve stepped out of Roman’s shadow.
I’ll show the world that I had to eliminate Jimmy to achieve my dream of becoming World Heavyweight Champion.
This is my journey, Uce!
And on Saturday… I’m going to kick your ass.
Yeet!”

Jey Uso drops the mic and exits the ring.
CM Punk stands in the ring, staring him down as Jey walks up the ramp.

Judgment Day Clubhouse

Inside the Judgment Day clubhouse are Dominik Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Braun Strowman, and JD McDonagh.

Santos Escobar: Dom, your stupidity cost us our Tag Team Titles.”
Braun Strowman:“If you had kept your mouth shut, Triple H wouldn’t have put us in a match against Randy Orton and Bronson Reed.”
Dirty Dom:“Relax. It’s not a big deal. Triple H just made a number one contender match between Damian Priestand Aleister Black for my Intercontinental Championship.
So your lives could be much worse.”
Dirty Dom smirks and walks out of the clubhouse.
Santos Escobar watches him leave.
Santos Escobar: He only thinks about himself.”

Braun Strowman looks furious as the tension inside Judgment Day continues to grow

Intercontinental Championship – Number One Contender Match

Damian Priest vs Aleister Black

The match is intense, with both men trading strikes and near falls.
Just as Damian Priest goes for South of Heaven, the crowd suddenly reacts.
Out of nowhere, Mr. Iguana and El Grande Americano run down to the ring.
They attack both Damian Priest and Aleister Black, stomping them down.
The referee quickly calls for the bell.
Result: No Contest
Mr. Iguana and El Grande Americano stand tall in the ring as officials rush down to break it up.

Jackie Redmond interviews Penta.
Jackie Redmond: “Penta, you failed to win the Number One Contender spot for the World Heavyweight Championship Battle Royal last week. What’s next for you?”
Penta looks downhearted, taking a moment before responding.
Penta:“I would have loved to face CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Unfortunately, Jey Uso got that opportunity.
It’s a setback in my career… but setbacks can be fixed.
And I will fix this one.”
Penta then walks off, determination in his eyes.

Bron Breakker, Paul Heyman, and Sami Zayn are backstage.
Paul Heyman: At Saturday Night’s Main Event, CM Punk will face Jey Uso for the Vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
That wasn’t the plan the Vision created.
I am confident that Bron Breakker will beat the winner.
Before we go after the winner… Bron, you need to take out another contender tonight.
So I made a match for you against this contender. I want you to destroy this contender and take him out of the game.”
Bron Breakker:Who’s the contender?”
Paul Heyman:“Penta.”
Bron Breakker: “Sounds good to me.”
Paul Heyman smiles

Jey Uso is walking backstage.
Jimmy Uso stares down Jey Uso.
Jey Uso: “You can’t not be happy for me. On Saturday, I’m finally bringing the World Heavyweight Championship to our family.”

Bron Breakker pins Penta for the win.
Bron Breakker, Paul Heyman, and Sami Zayn stand tall.

Dirty Dom is speaking with Mr. Iguana and El Grande Americano.
HHH approaches them.
HHH: “Dom, were you behind the attack on Damian Priest and Aleister Black?”
Dirty Dom laughs.
Dirty Dom: “It’s got nothing to do with me. Mr. Iguana and El Grande Americano were tired of the injustice faced by their fellow Mexicans, so they took matters into their own hands.”
HHH: “Thank Mr. Iguana and El Grande Americano, because they’ve just given you a Triple Threat at Saturday Night’s Main Event for the Intercontinental Championship against Damian Priest and Aleister Black.”
Dirty Dom looks upset.

Jey Uso is backstage.
Jimmy Uso approaches him.
Jimmy Uso: “I’ve thought about what you said. I understand that what you did to me wasn’t personal. I know you have a dream to be World Heavyweight Champion and that you’ll do whatever it takes to achieve it. I respect your dream. You’ve got my support, and I hope you bring the World Heavyweight Championship back to our family.”
Jey Uso: “Thank you, Uce.”
Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso hug.

Santos Escobar, accompanied by JD McDonagh and Braun Strowman, faces Sheamus.
During the match, JD McDonagh distracts the referee.
Braun Strowman runs in and delivers a running powerslam to Sheamus.
Braun Strowman exits the ring.
Santos Escobar goes for the pin.
The referee counts: 1… 2… 3.
Santos Escobar is the winner.
Santos Escobar, Braun Strowman, and JD McDonagh celebrate their victory.

Commercial Break

Tiffany Stratton:

“I don’t care about Saturday Night’s Main Event! I’m ready to end Jade Cargill now!”

Nick Aldis appears on the stage.

Nick Aldis:

“Tiffany, you signed a contract to face Jade tomorrow at Saturday Night’s Main Event. As part of that agreement, you are not allowed to touch Jade. If you breach that contract, you could end up fired from WWE.”

Tiffany Stratton:

“I’ll take my risk.”

Jade Cargill’s music hits.

Jade Cargill comes to the ring and stands across from Tiffany.

Nick Aldis:

“Jade, you know what happens if you breach the contract.”

Street Profits are backstage.

Suddenly, MFT appear.

Solo Sikoa steps forward.

Solo Sikoa:

“I don’t care how good a run you had in NXT, and I don’t care how many years you’ve been a tag team. The only thing I care about is taking the Street Profits out as challengers for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Then MFT will take the titles from those freaks, the Wyatt Sicks.”

Montez Ford steps forward.

Montez Ford:

“You want to show us how good your family is in the ring? Then face us tonight.”

Solo Sikoa:

“If you want us to take you out, I’m fine with it. But I won’t be responsible for my actions.”

“You will get your revenge… just not tonight.”

LA Knight:

“Yeah!”

LA Knight walks away.

Suddenly, Cody Rhodes appears.

“LA, I’m glad we’ve got a superstar like you on the SmackDown roster. I really enjoyed watching your United States Championship run. I hope you get your revenge on MFT.”

LA Knight:

“Thanks for the kind words, Cody. And trust me… I’ll get my revenge on MFT. Yeah!”

LA Knight walks off.

Nick Aldis turns to Cody.

Nick Aldis:

“Cody… I hate to ask you this, but did you attack Jacob Fatu? Or do you know who might be behind the attack?”

Cody Rhodes looks offended.

Cody Rhodes:

“Nick, I wanted to prove to the world that I could beat Jacob in the ring. But someone else backstage had other ideas. I hope Jacob recovers soon… because I want to beat him the right way.”

“Let’s sign the contract!”

Drew McIntyre:

“I’m not signing any contract.”

Nick Aldis:

“What do you mean?”

Drew McIntyre:

“I don’t trust your contract, you, the referees, or Cody Rhodes. This company wants Cody to win. I could be at an unfair disadvantage.”

Nick Aldis:

“You’re taking the pish now, Drew!”

Cody Rhodes:

“Drew… I understand our last two matches didn’t go as planned. You feel like everyone’s against you. How about we make it a submission match?”

Drew McIntyre:

“I love it. Let’s make Cody Rhodes tap out.”

Cody Rhodes:

“Nick… looks like it’s going to be a submission match.”

Nick Aldis:

“This wasn’t the plan!”

Drew McIntyre:

“Of course it wasn’t, Nick! The company doesn’t want me making Cody Rhodes tap out. Bad for business. You’re scared of a new era!”

Nick Aldis:

“I’m scared of no new era. If you want a submission match… you’ll have one.”

Drew McIntyre smiles and signs the contract.

Drew McIntyre:

“Cody… I’ve worked hard to get where I am. 20 years of blood, sweat, and tears. You? You were born into this. You didn’t work as hard as me. Not everyone has Dusty as a dad to help them.”

Cody Rhodes:

“That old chestnut… Yes, I’m Dusty’s son. But I had to work twice as hard as everyone else to get here. The first time I was here, HHH and Vince didn’t want to give me opportunities for the World Title. I had to go around the world and create my own path to get to this position. There’s no conspiracy keeping me as the number one guy. I fight for it every day, and I’m not prepared to lose it easily.”

Drew McIntyre laughs.

Drew McIntyre:

“Who are you fooling, Cody? You’re WWE’s new John Cena… a fake. Your media guys, your charity events… it’s all a dream for WWE management. I know what you’re really like behind the scenes. When the fans realize who you really are… it’s going to end badly for you. That’s why the New Era starts tomorrow night!”

Drew McIntyre drops the mic.

The two men face off, tension boiling.

Drew McIntyre suddenly powerbombs Cody Rhodes through the table.

Drew McIntyre:

Paul Heyman appears on the stage with Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker.

Dirty Dom’s eyes widen with anger.
Dirty Dom: “I am Eddie Guerrero’s son, not Rey’s!”

John Cena: December 13th will be my last match ever at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Who do I want to face? That’s the million-dollar question.
Let’s speak about the confirmed competitors so far.
Sheamus — an old enemy of mine. I would love to share the ring with him one more time.
Finn Bálor — a two-time world champion. I would love to share the ring with such a competitor.
Aleister Black — a man with a lot of experience. You’ve shown your talents all over the world. It would be an honour to share the ring with you.

Jey Uso — this man should be a World Champion. It’s a crime you’ve never been World Champion. Hopefully one day.
