Rollins says he’s the future of the WWE and the professional wrestling industry. Punk’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Rollins asks Punk why he came to the ring. Rollins tells Punk he hates him and he isn’t welcome in the WWE. Punk tells Rollins he used to be his shield when he brought The Shield to the WWE. Punk tells Rollins he’s always been jealous of him and has always wanted to be him. Rollins tells Punk he doesn’t want to be him and that he’s better than him. Rollins tells Punk to turn around, leave his ring and leave the WWE. Punk gets in Rollins’ face and tells him he’s not leaving, but he will challenge him for the World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins tells Punk he’ll never be world champion as long as he’s around. Rollins bumps into Punk as he walks by him and leaves the ring. Punk looks on as Rollins heads up the ramp.]

Bronson Reed def. The Miz [Before the match, Reed came to the ring and talked about losing to Punk at WrestleMania. Reed says nine times out of ten he kicks Punks ass. The Miz’s music hits and he comes to the ring. The Miz tells Reed he’s not Big Bronson Reed he’s a big baby. Reed tells Miz to leave his ring. Miz goes to leave, but turns around and steps up to Reed. Miz tells Reed how about the two of them have a match right now. Miz slaps Reed and starts laying into Reed. The two begin to brawl and a referee comes to the ring and starts the match.]

Nia Jax def. Indi Hartwell

Chelsea Green (w/Piper Niven) def. Zoey Stark (w/Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville) [Earlier in the night, Pure Fusion Collective were backstage talking about losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship when Green and Piper walked up to them. Green tells Pure Fusion Collective they lost the championship because they weren’t so good after all. Baszler gets in Green’s face, but Stark steps up and says she’ll handle Green tonight.]

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) © def. DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) (w/Candice LeRae) in a non-title match [Earlier in the night, DIY met The New Day backstage and told them they wouldn’t be champions if they had a two-on-two match and challenged The New Day to a match. The New Day told DIY the championship won’t be on the line, but they have a match. DIY walked off. The New Day looked on.]

[Cody comes to the ring and talks about losing the WWE Championship to Cena. Cody says he failed. He says his hero became a villain last night. Cody says Cena isn’t here tonight, but he’s challenging him for his WWE Championship tonight and he will win it back. Paul’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Paul tells Cody he’s the past and that he’s the future. Paul tells Cody that he lost to the better man last night and he should go to the back of the line. Paul gets in Cody’s face and tells him Smackdown is his show now. Cody tells Paul in order for Smackdown to be his show he has to go through him. Cody challenges Paul to a match at Backlash. Paul accepts. Cody and Paul get face to face as they mouth off at each other.]

Rey Mysterio def. Bobby Lashley and Karrion Kross (w/Scarlett) in a #1 contenders qualifying WWE Championship triple threat match [During the match, Orton came to the ring and RKO’d Kross outside the ring.]

Tiffany Stratton def. Raquel Rodriguez

The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) © def. New Catch Republic (Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne) in a non-title match [The Street Profits came to the ring and challenged any team in the back to match tonight. New Catch Republic came to the ring for the match.]

[The Bloodline came to the ring. Reigns talks about beating The Rock and still being The Tribal Chief. Reigns walks up to Jimmy and hugs him and tells him he’s his cousin, but he lost. Reigns steps back and looks at Jimmy, when Tama Tonga attacks Jimmy from behind. Solo and Tama attack Jimmy while Reigns watches. Heyman watches, surprised. Reigns tells Solo and Tama to lift Jimmy up before Reigns hit him with a spear. The Bloodline stand over Jimmy with the one’s in the air.]

Naomi def. Charlotte Flair in a #1 contenders match for the WWE Women’s Championship [Naomi came to the ring and talked about never losing to Shotzi and said she should get the next shot at the WWE Women’s Championship. Charlotte’s music hits and she comes to the ring. Charlotte tells Naomi she’s been impressive since she came back, but she’s no match for The Queen. Naomi tells Charlotte she could kick her ass anytime and that her focus was on the WWE Women’s Championship. Aldis comes to the stage and announces Naomi versus Charlotte in a number one contenders match for the WWE Women’s Championship tonight.]

[Becky comes to the ring and talks about becoming world champion again. Becky says The Man is a fighting champion and is taking on all challengers. Morgan’s music hits and she comes to the ring with Dominik. Morgan tells Becky she’s past her prime and barely beat Nia at WrestleMania. Morgan tells Becky she’s not The Man anymore and soon she won’t be World Women’s Champion either. Moments later, Becky gets attacked from behind by Raquel. Raquel and Morgan attacked Becky and hit their finishers on Morgan. Morgan raised the championship in the air as she, Raquel and Dominik stood over Becky.]

Los Lotharios (Angel and Berto) def. New Catch Republic (Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne) in a #1 contenders World Tag Team Championship qualifier [Earlier in the night, Escobar met with Los Lotharios backstage and told them The L.W.O were losers, but they have potential. Escobar wished Los Lotharios success in their match tonight. During the match, Escobar came to the ring and cost New Catch Republic the match. Post-match, Escobar raised Angel and Berto’s arms in the middle of the ring.]

Sheamus def. Chad Gable (w/The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile) [Backstage before the match, Sheamus is interviewing and says now that he’s back on Raw, Raw will be getting banger after banger after banger. Gable, Nile and The Creed Brothers walk up and Gable tells Sheamus he’s not so tough and that he can make him tap out. Sheamus tells Gable how about he meet him in the ring and see if he can. Gable stares at Sheamus and walks off with Nile and The Creed Brothers. Sheamus looks on. During the match, The Creed Brothers tried to cost Sheamus the match, but he fought them off.]

Rick Boogs © def. JD McDonagh (w/Finn Balor) in a non-title match [Earlier in the night, The Judgment Day met with Pearce backstage. JD tells Pearce he wants to prove himself and asks for a match tonight. Pearce tells JD he’ll have a non-title match against Boogs. JD is pleased and The Judgment Day walk off. Post-match, Kaiser comes to the ring and attacks Boogs. Jey comes to the ring for the save and Kaiser leaves the ring. Kaiser stares and yells at Jey and Boogs as he heads up the ramp. Jey and Boogs look on.]

CM Punk in a #1 contenders match for the World Heavyweight Championship [Earlier in the night, Rollins came to the ring and said Punk would never become world champion while he was around, but he’s still looking for a challenger. AJ’s music hits and he comes to the ring. AJ tells Rollins it’s been awhile since he’s been world champion and challenges Rollins for the championship. Rollins tells AJ he hasn’t earned it. Pearce comes to the stage and tells Rollins someone will earn a World Heavyweight Championship opportunity tonight because there will be a number one contenders match between AJ Styles and this man. Moments later, Punk’s music hits and he comes to the stage. Rollins looks pissed. Punk looks pleased. AJ looks at Punk and Rollins. During the match, Rollins comes to the ring and costs Punk the match. Post-match, Rollins and AJ get face-to-face and mouth off at each other.]

[The Bloodline came to the ring. Reigns says Jimmy won’t be on Smackdown for awhile and is out of The Bloodline. Reigns says he’s focusing on taking his WWE Championship back and doesn’t care if Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio are fighting for it. Riddle’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Riddle tells The Bloodline it was jacked up what they did to Jimmy. Riddle tells The Bloodline Jimmy may not be there tonight, but he is and he’ll fight any of them tonight. Reigns tells Riddle he shouldn’t have gotten in his business and signals for The Bloodline to attack Riddle. Solo and Tama attack Riddle, but Riddle fights them off. Riddle turns around and gets speared by Reigns. The Bloodline stands tall over Riddle as Reigns looks down at him.]

Indus Sher (Sanga and Veer) (w/Jinder Mahal and Shanky) def. The L.W.O (Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde) (w/Zelina Vega) in a #1 contenders match for the WWE Tag Team Championship [During the match, Mahal and Shanky cost The L.W.O the match. Post-match, The Street Profits came to the ring and stood across from Indus Sher. The Street Profits raised the championship in the air as Indus Sher looked on.]

[Naomi, Bianca and Jade came to the ring. Naomi says Shotzi’s had a good run, but it ends at Backlash when she beats her ass, snatches her green hair and takes the WWE Women’s Championship from her. Shotzi sneaks up behind Naomi, Bianca and Jade and as Naomi turned around Shotzi dropped her with a kick and ran from the ring and up the ramp. Bianca and Jade were pissed as they checked on Naomi. Naomi sat in the ring pissed as she stared at Shotzi. Shotzi looked on.]

Randy Orton def. Karrion Kross (w/Scarlett) via DQ [During the match, The AOP and Ellering came to the ring. The AOP attacked Orton. Post-match, Kross told The AOP to lift Orton up and he hit him with his finisher. The Final Testament stood tall over Orton.]

LA Knight def. Odyssey Jones © in a Singles match for the WWE United States Championship [Before the match, Knight interviews backstage and talks about winning the WWE United States Championship tonight because he’s the megastar, yeah!]

Kevin Owens def. Rey Mysterio in a #1 contenders match for the WWE Championship [Earlier in the night, Rey tells The L.W.O to stay in the back tonight for his match. Owens met Rey backstage and told him he’s always respected him and admired him and let the best man win tonight. Owens and Rey shook hands. Owens walked off as Rey looked on.]

He says he’s never won the big gold belt. He says he used to respect Rollins, but now thinks he’s a punk. AJ says Rollins isn’t worthy to have the championship. Rollins’ music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Rollins asks AJ is he done. Rollins tells AJ he’s a shell of his former self and has no shot at beating him at Backlash. Rollins tells AJ to save himself the embarrassment and forfeit the match. AJ tells Rollins he’s not going to just beat him he’s going to take him to the woodshed. AJ and Rollins get faced to face and Rollins tries to attack AJ, but AJ lays into Rollins instead. AJ goes for his finisher, but Rollins hurries out of the ring and heads up the ramp. AJ looks on.]

Los Lotharios (Angel and Berto) (w/Santos Escobar) def. The Creed Brothers (Brutus Creed and Julius Creed) (w/Chad Gable and Ivy Nile) in a #1 contenders match for the World Tag Team Championship [Backstage before the match, Escobar told Los Lotharios they were the best tag team in the WWE and tonight they get a step closer to becoming champions. The New Day were on commentary. During the match, Gable and Nile tried to cost Los Lotharios the match, but Escobar fought them off. Post-match, The New Day stood up at the announce table and mouthed off with Los Lotharios.]

[Gunther comes to the ring and talks about losing the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Rick Boogs. Gunther says his focus now is winning the King of the Ring tournament. He says after he wins he’ll either take back his WWE Intercontinental Championship or any championship he wants.]

[Balor and JD meet Dragunov backstage. Balor tells Dragunov he wants to welcome him to Raw. Balor extends his hand, but Dragunov doesn’t shake it. Balor tells Dragunov he just blew his chance of joining The Judgment Day. Dragunov tells Balor he’s not interested. Balor tells Dragunov big mistake and walks off with JD. Dragunov looks on.]

Becky Lynch © def. Raquel Rodriguez (w/Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio) in a non-title match [Earlier in the night, Becky came to the ring and talked about getting jumped by Liv and Raquel last week. Becky tells them to get their asses to the ring and catch these hands. The Judgment Day’s music hits and Liv, Raquel and Dominik come to the stage. Liv tells Becky they spoke with Pearce and Raquel has a match against her tonight. Becky tells them she’s not waiting for later tonight, she’s beating their asses now. Becky grabs a chair and heads up the ramp. Liv, Raquel and Dominik head backstage. Becky looks for Liv, Raquel and Dominik and gets attacked from behind. Liv hits Becky in the back with the chair and lays her out. Liv laughs and her, Raquel and Dominik walk off. Post-match, Raquel and Liv jump Becky and lay her out.]

Sami Zayn def. Bronson Reed via DQ [Earlier in the night, Zayn came to the ring and talked about being excited to be on Raw. Zayn says he’s looking forward to where his career goes next. Reed’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Reed steps to Zayn and tells him where his career goes next is being hit with a tsunami. Reed tells Zayn he’s not taking his spot from him and will end the Zayn train before it gets started. Zayn tells Reed he’s not afraid of him and will meet him in the ring tonight. During the match, Breakker comes to the ring and attacks Zayn laying him out on the outside.]

Ludwig Kaiser def. Rick Boogs © in a non-title match [Earlier in the night, Kaiser attacks Jey backstage and lays him out. Kaiser calls Jey a bum and tells him to mind his business. Carmelo Hayes def. Cedric Alexander

[The Street Profits came to the ring and talk about Indus Sher. They say Indus Sher were dominant on Raw, but they never faced The Street Profits. They say at Backlash Indus Sher will get the smoke.]

[We get a video stream from Paul. Paul tells Cody to enjoy his time as qb one because at Backlash he ends it. Paul says after Backlash the Cody Rhodes era ends and the Logan Paul era begins.]

Otis def. Grayson Waller [Before the match, Waller calls Otis the worst Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner of all-time and a fat slob. Waller slaps Otis. Otis gets revved up.]

[Knight came to the ring and talked about being the WWE United States Champion. Knight says he’s a fighting champion and will take on all challengers. Andrade’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Andrade tells Knight he challenges him for the WWE United States Championship. Moments later, Lee came to the ring. Lee says he wants to be WWE United States Champion and challenges Knight. Aldis comes to the stage and says next week it will be Andrade versus Dragon Lee in a number one contenders match for the WWE United States Championship. Knight, Andrade and Lee look and mouth off at each other.]

Naomi, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill def. Shotzi ©, Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai [Earlier in the night, Shotzi came to the ring and called out Naomi and her friends. Shotzi says Naomi and her friends may underestimate her, but she won the WWE Women’s Championship because she was good enough. Shotzi challenges Naomi, Bianca and Jade to a match tonight. Later, Shotzi and Nox were talking backstage when Aldis walked up. Aldis told Shotzi and Nox if they can find a partner they have their match against Naomi, Bianca and Jade tonight. Dakota walks up and tells Shotzi and Nox she’d like to make her Smackdown in-ring debut by teaming up with them. Shotzi and Nox agree. Post-match, Naomi, Bianca and Jade clear Nox and Dakota from the ring before hitting their finishers on Shotzi. They stand tall over the laid out Shotzi.]

[Orton came to the ring and talked about Kross. Orton says Kross wants to be on top of the mountain. Orton says he’s been there and back. He says this is between him and Kross and says for Kross to leave his cronies behind. Orton challenges Kross to a Street Fight next week.]

Matt Riddle def. Tama Tonga (w/Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman) [Earlier in the night, The Bloodline are talking in their locker room. Reigns tells Tama to kick Riddle’s ass tonight and teach him to never step to The Bloodline. During the match, Solo and Heyman try to cost Riddle the match, but Riddle fights them off. Post-match, we see a pissed off Reigns in the locker room.]

[AJ came to the ring and talked about his match against Rollins at King and Queen of the Ring. AJ says Raw will be better after he wins the World Heavyweight Championship. He says at King and Queen of the Ring Rollins will learn that he’s good, but he’s not phenomenal. AJ poses in the ring.]

Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) def. Hit Row (Ashante Adonis and Top Dolla) (w/B-Fab)

[Punk is interviewing backstage and talking about coming up short last week against AJ. Punk says he came back to the WWE to make money. He says now he wants to win a world championship. He says whether it’s Seth Rollins, AJ Styles or someone else he has to go through–before he can finish he gets attacked from behind by McIntyre. McIntyre yells at Punk while attacking him telling him he’s not going to just come back to the WWE and take the championship that belongs to him. McIntyre takes Punk outside the arena and lays him out into a windshield.]

Lyra Valkyria def. Ivy Nile (w/Chad Gable)

[Priest comes to the ring and says he’s entering the King of the Ring tournament. He says after he wins the tournament he’s coming for the world championship. Gunther’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Gunther tells Priest he’s not going to win the world championship because he’s not going to win the King of the Ring tournament because he is. Priest tells Gunther he may have dominated Smackdown, but this is Raw. He tells Gunther if he meets him at King of the Ring he’ll be the one laying on his back while he’s getting his hand raised. Gunther gets in Priest’s face and smirks. Priest stares at Gunther. Gunther backs away and leaves the ring while Priest looks on.]

Bron Breakker def. Sami Zayn [Post-match, Breakker attacks Zayn and lays him out inside the ring.]

[The New Day meet Los Lotharios backstage and congratulated them on getting a World Tag Team Championship opportunity. Escobar tells The New Day to keep their congratulations. He tells them to enjoy their championship because soon it will belong to Los Lotharios. Los Lotharios walk off as The New Day look on.]

Becky Lynch © and Rhea Ripley def. The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez) (w/Dominik Mysterio) [Earlier in the night, Becky came to the ring with a chair and said she wanted both Liv and Raquel right now. Liv and Raquel entered the ring behind Becky and attacked her from behind. Moments later, Rhea's music hit and she came running down the ramp and entered the ring. Rhea attacked Liv and Rhea and sent them from the ring. Pearce came to the stage and said it will be Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley versus Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez tonight. During the match, Rhea and Becky attacked Dominik.]

[We get a video package of The Kabuki Warriors issuing a challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Raw and Smackdown.]

Ludwig Kaiser def. Jey Uso [Earlier in the night, Boogs met with Jey backstage and asked him about attacking him last week. Jey told Boogs it was an accident. Boogs accepted it and walked off. Jey looked on. Boogs was on commentary. During the match, Kaiser threw Jey into Boogs. Boogs tried to attack Kaiser, but accidentally attacked Jey. Post-match, Jey and Boogs argued in the ring.]

Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark) (w/Sonya Deville) in a #1 contenders match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship [Earlier in the night, Green and Niven met with Aldis backstage and asked for a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship opportunity. Pure Fusion Collective walked in and told Green and Niven they haven’t earned a championship opportunity. Green tells Stark she beat her so they deserve a shot before them. Aldis makes a number one contenders match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship between Chelsea Green and Piper Niven versus Pure Fusion Collective for tonight.]

[Cody comes to the ring and talks about his match against Paul. Cody says Paul is talented, but he’s a hotshot and has a lot to learn. Cody says he’s going to handle Paul at Backlash and then focus on taking his WWE Championship back.]

Randy Orton def. Karrion Kross (w/Scarlett) in a Street Fight [During the match, The Final Testament came to the ring and attacked Orton. The Viking Raiders came to the ring and fought The Final Testament off.]

Matt Riddle def. Solo Sikoa via DQ (w/Tama Tonga and Paul Heyman) [During the match, Tama attacked Riddle. Post-match, Tama and Solo jumped Riddle. The Bloodline stood tall over Riddle.]

[Cena comes to the ring and says everyone’s been asking him why he turned on Cody. Why he turned on the WWE fans. Cena says the WWE fans turned on him first. Owens’ music hits and he comes to the ring. Owens tells Cena to stop whining and that he failed. He tells Cena he may be WWE Champion, but he’s not the champion of the fans. Owens tells Cena at Backlash he’s going to take the WWE Championship from him and leave him as the loser he is. Cena gets in Owens’ face and the two mouth off before Cena attacks Owens and goes to AA him, but Owens lays Cena out with his finisher instead. Owens grabs the WWE Championship and looks at it before throwing it down on the laid out Cena. Owens heads up the ramp.]

Heyman says they’ll handle it and The Bloodline walk off. Reigns looks ahead. During the match, Solo tried to get involved, but Riddle fought him off.
