If you could see the return of ONE wrestler back to the WWE who would it be and why?

My choice would be none other than the 'Instant Classic' Christian Cage, or his WWE persona 'Captain Charisma' Christian, I believe he is in the top three performers in the business in America anyway (only real market I have knowledge on)

Yes he is under contract to TNA but I dont think he is tied down to anything too long term, he is exactly what the WWE needs, he has it all, great in the ring, an array of fantastic moves, he has the wow factor and is equally at home doing mat skills as he is on top of a ladder, his promo cutting is as good as any currently in the business.

He has never really bad mouthed the powers that be in Titan Towers and was the total professional in fulfilling some contractual obligations with the WWE despite his contract running out and working the events for no pay and no insurance and Vince does reward loyalty.

His best pal is one of the top guys in WWE and it would also be an added incentive to keep one of the biggest stars in the WWE happy by getting Cage back in.
Christian Cage for me is the the Shawn Micheal's of the mid 90s and to properly fulfill the potential he has shown he needs the biggest stage of all!

TNA have been brilliant for Cage, it gave him the main event platform that he craved and now after two years of constantly showing everyone his ability at the top of the business I hope it wont be too long until he returns to the World Wrestling Entertainment.

Whats everyone elses choices?

I would ask posters if they wish to contribute to try and keep there picks realistic, like guys who are still in the business or want to be involved back in the business instead of guys who never tire of saying they are finished with professional wrestling

An easy answer would be Austin, but it wouldn't be a good idea. His act is getting stale and I wouldn't want to tarnish his legacy.

I guess I would go with the Rock. I would love to see him fued with a heel Cena.

did you just compare christian to shawn michaels??...anyway.
if they brought back christian it would be the same as when he left...forever stuck at mid card.

hmm....i'de have to say the rock as well.

I still get the feeling that we'll see this match eventually. There's a lot of money to be gained from this match for all parties, and according to recent scientific results, money is good.

I'd like to see Angle back in WWE. For one, none of the shows would revolve around him for 2 hours. And even though he's crazy and nearly a cripple, he can still put on some damn good matches when he needs to.

I would want to say the wrestler who shall not be named, but he probably would be stuck in the midcard if he was srill living right now. Angle would be nice, especially with how much the main event scene has improved since he left.

Booker T.

His act as a heel was awesome, and his a much needed credible heel in the main events of any show, and call pull a good midcard feud as well.

Christian Cage will come back to the WWE at some point, put to me, he will do the same he did, main event for a while, fell close to winning, be sent to SD(because he would be to Raw), turned face, fed to Edge and midcard 4 life, or at least for the rest of the year.

Kurt Angle is just too much of a risk. He's one crazy bump away from ending on a tomb, and a simple bump from ending in a wheel chair.

And The Rock, I wouldn't want him back permanently, I would enjoy him coming back just for one match, like his back for 2 months for the build up of the feud, the match, and then gone.

I'd like to see Brock Lesnar back. Lets face it he's still young and has a lot left to do in WWE.

He was the #1 guy in 2003, and he only feuded with The Hardys, Rock, Taker, Big Show, Eddie, Goldberg, Cena, and Kurt Angle.

He can come back have a good feud with Cena, Triple H, CM Punk, Batista, Edge, JBL, etc.
