Most of you love AJ Styles' World Title run, I do too, its so great to see a TNA Original at the top of the food chain. He's the perfect guy to represent TNA, I'm glad he's getting the push he deserves.

however...

He can't hold the belt forever, who do you think they'll book to de-crown the champ? If I had to guess, I'd say Kurt Angle. There's rumors going around that the Genesis ME will be Angle/AJ, if thats true, I think Angle will beat Styles and move on to face Bobby Lashley at either Against All Odds, or Lockdown if they can put it on hold for that long.

Thoughts?

Losing the title at this point would do serious harm to AJ as a character. He hasn't been made out to be a strong champion so for him to drop it so soon would be a real blow and you probably wouldn't see him hold it again for another two years or however long it was.

They really need to have AJ defeat Kurt Angle. Joe, Daniels, maybe not Sting, they are all played inferior to Angle even in kayfabe, so they need to have AJ retain against Angle at least once.

I've still got money on Morgan to. Hopefully in 5-6 months time.

I wouldn't mind seeing AJ drop the title to Daniels in a transitional reign to give the title back to AJ or maybe draw it out with AJ facing all challengers for the next few months and then Daniels wins the title only to lose it in KOTM.

Long term I do see one of the younger talents dethroning AJ and if that doesn't happen the smart money is on Angle or even Wolfe.

I think it will end at Lockdown in April. 7 month reign is what he deserves. Wolfe or Joe to take the title off styles.

I honestly would love to see a Matt Morgan or Desmond Wolf trasitional reign

TNA doesn't need transitional reigns right now... they need to start making these younger guys look like strong capable champions. I'll also agree with the fact that AJ should go over Kurt at least one.

Wolfe is the right guy to take the belt off AJ right now though. They're grooming him as top heel right now..

Sorry, but I don't find anything special about Morgan, I can't stand the guy TBH.

I see where you're coming from, I'm not a huge fan of transitional reigns but it would really give Daniels that extra step up towards the main event. He really needs at least one big, singles win against AJ and they then can use him to build up the young faces of the company.

I think TNA ruined Morgan with the full face turn. He was one of the most entertaining parts of the show when he was a tweener, that's the perfect role for him.

I'm pretty sure Daniels will win it for a short while, much deserved and needed. I'd like to see it circulate between those two + Joe a little, so that people truly believe these are the guys the company revolves around. Then throw Wolfe in the mix for a lengthy reign. As good as Angle is, he should not be TNA world champ ever again.

Yeah I think Daniels deserves it more then anybody and he is being built up so much that him not winning it would be dumb on TNA's part. I think AJ will hold the belt until February or March tbh.

Not to bring back the dropped pushes argument, but Daniels would have been main eventing long time ago had Sting done the damn job at Slammiversary.

Anyways, Desmond Wolfe to win the belt. And tbh, he should win it or at least start feuding with AJ for it as soon as he wraps up with Kurt Angle. Anything else would be a huge step down for him.

I think that he will feud with Angle for another PPV, him or Angle getting a suprise win or a DQ then finish it in January then move him onto AJ.

Neither do I, but I think that after this Neal/Team 3D/Rhino stuff is done, one of Hernandez/Morgan will turn heel and they'll have a feud to become number one contender. The best of 3 series between AJ & Morgan were probably Morgan's best matches.
