There has been rumors that HHH will be challenging Sheamus at Mania so we can assume that he may win but if WWE is truly pushing for HBK taker II we may see HBK win his 3rd rumble and challenge taker. Im not too sure that either of these will actually happen which means the rumble wont be too predictable this year and the possibilities are endless so who will win the rumble this year?

Ahh yes, as so-called 'rumours' are the most reliable source of information available.

There's no real standouts. The Rumble has become such an afterthought now that it doesnt hold the same prestige as it once did, so now it's just the catalyst for a storyline rather than getting the championship contender over.

Although I wish it was an up-and-comer, I have a bad feeling it will be one of the WWE's old faithfuls, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Edge etc.

I'd say two strongest bets right now would be HHH or HBK, I think HBK is a little more of a favorite right now. I just don't like how they've turned the Rumble into a lock for a face with a chip on their shoulder looking to regain a title and designated MITB as the up and comer match.

Personally, I think everything is pointing to a Cena victory. He will probably take on the Undertaker at wrestlemania.

HBK will eliminate HHH, piss him off and it will culminate in a match at Mania.

I also think Orton will beat Sheamus. There is no way Sheamus goes to Mania with the belt in my opinion. We will then get a Legacy triple threat for WWE title. Which will probably be a midcard matchup. How the other two members of Legacy get title shots is really the wildcard.

I'd love for a Jericho victory, but a Cena victory seems likely. Same with Edge, Hunter and Shawn. But a good thing this year is that there is no real clear cut winner.

Undertaker vs. Mysterio will be the main event.

HBK will lose the rumble earlier and screw taker out of his title.

That is if it pertains to these "rumors"

Not going to happen. Why would WWE let Sheamus compete in a WM main event so early in his WWE career.

The fact that WWE is pointing at a member of DX as the obvious winner is a signal, if anything, that neither of them are winning. The beauty of HBK vs Taker, if it happens, is how HBK will get that match, and I don't think they will take the cheap route of just having HBK win. That's if they do decide on having HBK vs Taker II, if not, then HBK is completely out of the picture.

HHH winning the rumble is, to me, also out of the picture. HHH would rather put himself in the underdog role and be the last man eliminated by the man who wins it, then getting on revenge mode leading into winning the Elimination Chamber. That is, if they plan on doing HHH vs Sheamus. If he's battling HBK, then dont even bother doing math on him.

Cena is the man who needs winning the rumble the most. All people have feuds to fall into if they don't win the rumble. Should HBK not win the Rumble, he can still end up with Taker or with HHH. HHH can still end up against Sheamus or HBK without the Rumble. Cena either wins the Rumble or he gets screwed of a until now visible marquee match.
