Every time I see this picture of Sting I wonder the what if’s I’m happy he did finally come to the WWE but I feel it was way too late. If he did not come during his prime as the crow he should’ve definitely made the jump earlier as surfer sting I feel he would’ve been a great champion during the golden era of WWE from 1990 to 1993. 2011 would’ve made the most sense. Mania was in Atlanta that year; WCW’s backyard. Was the logical place to do the Undertaker/Sting match most people wanted to see

Agreed, this was the best time for it. Ngl I loved 2012 Joker Sting though and we would have missed out on that :lol

I personally would have loved this.

WWE wouldn't know what to do with Sting just like Vince telling Bret WCW wouldn't know what to do with him.

I think he was right never to jump, he was getting paid a lot from TNA for years.

Agreed. I always thought going to TNA was the best choice. Hell, WWE didn't know what to do with him when they did have him.

Sting was better off staying away from the fed because it built his image as the one guy who was unattainable for WWE. Until he arrived in 2014, he was easily the biggest name in wrestling never to appear in WWE and he continued to ride that reputation for years.

Honestly, signing for WWE was, at the time, an amazing sight, but probably hurt his career in the long run.

EDIT: 2014, not 2016. Not sure where my head was at there.

Honestly - he should never have jumped. His WWE appearance didn't elevate or benefit his career in anyway.
