Now I never Mind Thorn.. He's average, he is good enough for ECW....

But What thorn is a gimmick change...

his vampire gimmick was cool when ariel was with him and then it just sucked after she got sacked.

His test like Gimmick blowed bad too..

What i was thinking is get thorn to go back to this gimmick...

I thought this gimmick was interesting in 2004.. but with Undertaker coming back as the deadman... His gimmick didn't get the use on tv as it should of...

So why not they re-try it again for ECW.. It could gain more viewer or not... It is atleast an worth a try

Whats with Enter The Sandman? lol

I remember that guy, he had a good feud with Hardcore Holly. I never knew that was Kevin Thorn tho.

Well if the WWE were to do that gimmick with him they should bring Scott Levy(Raven) back the could do like a gimmick were Raven uses Thron as his puppet for his evil deeds and use him to screw over Dreamer,Delany and Richards.

Firstly, I thought he was already released? Either way, I never knew much abou thim and havent heard of him for a LONG while...
But also, hes already switched gimmicks. He was that vampire thing and then switched to just a generic dude. He came out in like yellow underwear and ellbow pads with blonde hair...
And then after that he was gone...
I think though, there are already to many people on ECW not being used enough, so th WWE oughta focus on them rather than a guy who isnt on the show now...

He hasn't been released. He's just been sent back to FCW and is set to debut there sometime this month, in theory. And I agree, coming back as Mordecai to feud with Undertaker would be awesome.

I'd assume some of his absence is related to his recently becoming a daddy.

Yea I think he already did debut down in FCW, but he is down there. I hated the vampire thorn gimmick tbh. I think he cut his hair real short though so I'm not sure if he could pull that Mordecai gimmick off right now, but it didn't look too bad. I don't know though, my guess is he'll stay down there for a while and they will repackage him and then bring him back to ECW with another gimmick and we'll see where it goes from there.

Edit: I'd like to see him get a new theme song if they brought him back as Mordecai though, that theme was awful imo.

I don't want to see Mordecai return. There is only so far a gimmick like that can go and then he would have to be repackaged again.

He was down in OVW before it closed using his real name and as a babyface which could be good to see and would mean he is less likely to be sent back to development so much.

^Yea I agree with that though. If he just wrestles as Kevin Thorne and has some success he's got a better chance of staying up. Vampire gimmicks and things like that get stale over time and you have to be sent back down and given a new gimmick. If he can get over as Kevin Thorne then that is best because that will give him his best chance to stay up for longer than 6 months.

The Mordecai gimmick could have been brilliant if done right...a nice feud with him "banishing the evil" from Taker or some bullshit. It could have maybe come down to Taker turning him to the other side and thus the debut of Thorn.

Again, there was nothing wrong with the Vampire gimmick either, he was fuckin sick until they stuck him with the New Breed and it all went downhill from there.
Changing him into the generic bullshit he was the last few months was just horrible. He's back down in FCW right now but I'de be shocked to see if he can rebound from what WWE has done to him.

I liked the whole Mordecai gimmick, and they were thinking of supposedly feuding with Taker, but then called that off. I don't think match quality would have been great though, and he would have just ended up like Heidenreich did if he feuded with Taker.

The Kevin Thorn gimmick was really cool when he had Ariel. The whole vampite thing was working then, and he had some decent momentum. But then WWE fired Ariel, and it all just went downhill. Thorn became boring. Then all of a sudden he came out in traditional wrestling tights, with a short hair cut. Tazz said this was ebcause Thorn had gotten 'serious'. So he wasn't serious when he was a vicious heel before? Basically, they had nothing for him to do, and he just fizzled out.

Yes he is back in developmental now, and tbh, I can't see him doing anything at all with WWE in the future. You can only repackage a man so many times before the fans just get completely sick of him. So in relation to what next for Kevin Thorn, after he gets fired from developmental, I see the indies, or maybe a run in TNA (him being an ex-WWE star and all).

Kevin Thorn was cool with Ariel, but as you said once her fine ass left he was down. He was cool in the New Breed too. But, he still reminds me of a cheap rip off of Gangrel. Gangrel is the OG Vampire.

Gangrel > Kevin Thorn

And what Test gimmick you talkin' about Dipset?

I liked Thorn's gimmick more than mordecai, it was pretty good when Paul heyman was running things, but it just died when Paul E. left. He could be pretty good if they do the right thing with him, but there's so many people down in FCW, I'm not sure he'll stick out.
