----

This card is ABSOLUTELY STACKED. I've not seen a card that looks like this all around for a good while.

Not one but two Champion vs Champion fights on this card which is absolutely unheard of. Zhang Weili and Islam Makhachev respectively stepping up a weight division to fight the Champion above them.

Regardless of size I see Islam still being too much for JDM, unfortunately. As I like Jack, and am not too fond of IM.

Can't see ZW being enough for Valentina though. Valentina is absolutely laser focused now after getting her Title back from Alexa Grasso. Although technically that series is still 1-1-1 so they could certainly fight again down the line somewhere.

My boy Leon Edwards is also back, but I'm a little fearful for him in this one. He's already on a 2 fight slide and I don't think Prates is an ideal guy to get him back going again. Garry showed that he's beatable at the very least, but in my mind, I just don't see it happening. I'm very, very welcoming of being wrong here. Prove me wrong Leon!

This is at least two of the three female GOATs of the UFC on my book going at it, which should be interesting. Valentina was at one time my favorite female fighter but these last 4 fights have hurt her, either through her losing or the fights just being excruciatingly boring, so for that reason I'm backing Zhang. No point to really bet against Islam until we see someone actually beat him. I like JDM but he's fairly unproven despite the title win, so it would be a massive upset to me if he pulled off the win. Card as a whole is quite good but I'll say UFC 320 wasn't long ago at all and I think it was the better card on paper, and it delivered big, so it'll be a tall task for this one to top it.

I see that from two angles.

The 3 main fights of 320 were monsters, but 322 has more individually good fights on paper in my opinion.

Nickal, Kopylov and Blanchfield all being on the Prelims for me tells a story of how good it is on paper.

What are measuring here, cause Nickal is a certified snoozer, so it's not like his fight on the prelim is making me say "hell yeah, these prelims are gonna be fire" :lol It's definitely well-rounded in terms of name value but not so much in terms of fighters that I'm personally eager to watch. But it is totally reasonable if you prefer this card, I just lean more towards 320 myself.

In what way is Nickal a snoozer? Only one of his pro fights has ever gone to a decision!

And he's looking to get back on track after losing to RDR who it's no shame losing to (Regardless of that last fight).

Each to their own mate. I'm looking forward to the fight at least haha.

Am I imagining this or has one fight been cut from this card? Because I'm almost certain that the Dariush/Saint-Denis fight was originally the main fight of the Prelims but now it's the first on the main card.

I was thinking the Nickal fight was initially on the main card but I could be mistaken.
