I know 2009 isn't over, but what do you think are the top moments of 2009??? The WWE seems to be lacking memorable moments imo.

- Randy Orton Wins the Royal Rumble

- Undertaker vs. HBK at WM 25 steals the show

- CM Punk ends Jeff Hardys career (for now)

- Randy Orton fueds with John Cena

- Christian Returns

TNA

- Samoa Joe turns heel

- AJ Styles wins the TNA Championship

ROH

- Debuts on HDNEt

- Bryan Danielson Farewell tour

- Jerry Lynn defeats Nigel for the ROH Belt

- Austin Aries becomes the first 2 time ROH champ

- Colt Cabana returns

Other

- Misawa dies in the ring

- Hulkamania tour

- Randy Orton Wins the Royal Rumble

Pretty much EVERYONE knew this was going to happen. This was probably the worst Rumble in a LONG time.

- Randy Orton fueds with John Cena

Feuds*, and how is this a moment? It's more like a terrible moment if anything.

Honestly the only things that come to mind are Christian/AJ.. lol, which is sad. Could Trump buying Raw or DX returning (with the tank) be a moment? Idk.

Christian returning...perhaps if the announcers put some fucking excitement in their voices. "Hey, it's Christian."

HBK/Undertaker was the only real stand out moment of this year IMO.

JBL/HBK storyline (inc. Cena/HBK on Raw)
Jericho/Mysterio mask v title match... If nothing else for the finnish.

Also the Cena/Jericho match on RAW...good shit.

Oh yea, i forgot about Christian, although at the time i was really shocked, it didn't think it was the most memorable return, but any means. I added it to the list though, as it is a top WWE moment.

I even think all the non-wwe stuff has been bigger, or more interesting than the WWE. Even just with TNA. WHen Joe turned heel, there was a lot of OMG buzz going on. TNA dropped the ball from there, but that was still huge i thought. AJ winning the belt, was a LONG time coming. ROH has had some big moments with the belt. Colt Cabana returning, Debuting on HDnet.

I'd probably say Misawa dieing in the ring was probably the biggest wrestling moment in the world, but i know not everyone is into Japanese wrestling. Then theres the Hulkamania tour, which a lot of the younger fans could enjoy.

I just think it's kinda sad when the most memorable thing the top wrestling promotion has done, is something like a mid carder return, Or a fued or something like that.

I'll keep adding to the list as need be, and then we can rank the moments.

Pretty sick list so far, kennedy getting released took me off guard.

CM Punk's heel turn/Cashing in on Jeff was probably a top moment, he's much better as a heel so turning on Jeff was a good way to turn him.

The Rock's short appearence on Smackdown, even though it was short its still been a top moment imo, he's that much better then pretty much everybody in WWE.

Chris Jericho and Edge winning the tag titles was a top moment, got all of our hopes up VERY high until Edge got injured and we got stuck with Big Show and Jericho, still a top moment and quite shocking that they gave them the titles to start with.

Oh yeah, somehow forgot about Punk's heel turn and The Rock returning. Those are definitely worth mentioning.

Does Joe turning heel classify the moment he handed Kurt the belt? That was pretty shocking. Probably one of the most shocking things TNA have ever done.

Nash wrestling every week is pretty epic. But 2009 has been pretty "weak" for surprises/comebacks/mark out moments.
