Despite being advertised on the TNA Genesis poster, sources say Hulk Hogan is not expected to wrestle at the show. Hogan has been advised to hold off on wrestling for TNA until the time is right and the build is right.

- While nobody from TNA or Spike TV has teased this, people who are being recruited by the Hogan and Bischoff side are still under the impression they will be airing on Monday nights beginning January 4th or at least that the January 4th date will be live on Monday.

Hogan has also been telling people he wants to get rid of the six-sided ring. There is also confidence that Rob Van Dam and Ric Flair will eventually come to TNA with Hogan.

Source: Lordsofpain.net

Flair practically confirmed he was going to TNA if WWE didn't offer him anything, so he's a practically a lock. I just dont see Van Dam in TNA.

Van Dam is incredibly overrated anyways, and hasn't really wrestled (besides a couple of European dates) since 2007. He can go sit with Kennedy on the TNA don't need you guys at all bench.

Does TNA realize that Hogan is probably going to be booed when he shows up in person?

You're joking right?

Also, I kind of like the idea of getting rid of the 6 sided ring.

It would be weird imo to watch TNA with the regular 4 sided ring, not bad just different. The last time I remember watching TNA with a 4 sided ring was back when they were on FSN. lol

I agree with him for the most part. He'll get his pop the first time he shows up but as soon as everyone realises it's still the same old Hogan bullshit they'll turn on him in an instant.

I'm still not positive Hogan will be on camera as much as you think. Their "partership" with TNA still hasn't been completely defined at this point.

On the other side of the fence I can picture Hogan and Flair doing their match from his Hulkamania tour on impact and the asshole fans chanting 'you still got it' at them.

This

And it will not take too long for them to realise. I'm still on the fence with Hogan coming to TNA, they seem to be heading in the right direction so here's hoping Hogan helps and doesn't hurt.

I have always wanted to see RVD in TNA just for the matches and to satisfy my dream match cravings.

RVD vs.
AJ Styles
Daniels
Samoa Joe

Are the 3 top matches I'd want to see, then he can do whatever he wants.

RVD and those guys would have been money a few years ago but other then a few small appearances he hasn't actually wrestled much since 2007. SO idk how exciting RVD would be PLUS I dont think he could use the RVD name or logos being that the WWE owns them i'm pretty sure.

^ I don't really know how it works but RVD did use that name during his time in the old ECW so even though WWE owns ECW's name, rights, likeness, etc doesn't that mean RVD has used that name before his WWE time?

I don't know, that's what I got from the Christian situation and the Booker T situation.

I wouldn't blame Hogan wanting to wrestle at least a few times. Had he wanted to wrestle and make himself look dominant, trust me... he would have been there already doing so.
Regardless of what you think of the guy a match against Hogan for any of these younger guys is going to do A LOT for them. Sorry, but a victory over Hogan in terms of kayfabe still means worlds more than Angle putting someone over.

Yeah but ECW was bought out by the WWE, which means they own all character names and all that shit
