WWE.com has updated their PPV schedule and it looks like Backlash, Judgment Day, and The Bash are history. Here is the updated schedule...

April: Extreme Rules

May: Wild Card
June: Fatal Four Way
July: Money in the Bank

Urrrgh why oh why wwe? Mind you the wild card ppv sounds cool, but a MITB one? tut.

^^^^ I'm guessing who ever wins mitb at WM26. Will cash it in on the night.

I'm fucking dreading it. Why is extreme rules in April? All Wm 26 rematches in them matches? Meh i dunno.

You think that means that $ITB is no longer going to be a part of Mania?
Yeah, prob, thank god. If Christian isn't winning, who gives a fuck. And they've already hit the 5-year mark on it now, originality time.

Christian is gonna win it this year, bro.

I hate the gimmick pay per views. That is the answer when you got no story lines or angles that anyone gives a shit about seeing resolved. So does that mean that we can expect not to see any real feuds going on in the future, since apparently every 3rd PPV is already lined up with what we are going to see? WWE going to pull guys out of half worked feuds to throw them into a gimmick match and kill any momentum that they had going for them. EMD WWE.

Extreme Rules in April- Lame, I see why they're doing it but the whole Extreme Rules concept is kind of a cop out. Backlash was just fine and usually has as good if not better match quality than Wrestlemania.

Wild Card in May- Sounds cool but who knows how they'll screw this up.

Fatal Four Way in June- No comment.

Money in the Bank in July- I actually like this, here's how I see it happening after this year. Throughout the night every match is a Qualifier for the MITB Main Event. Simple as that but this year is intriguing if the WM MITB Winner still has the briefcase that would possibly give us two MITB Briefcase holders at the same time. There are some nice possibilities to that in itself.

Thanks for getting my hopes up.

That's exactly what I was thinking now. People bitch about the gimmick changes, but it's basically Vince admitting he doesn't have the star power for just normal PPVs with well-thought, interesting feuds. He's creating a catch to order the PPV, which is a good idea, imo, with what they have to work with. But obviously, if the product didn't suck, this wouldn't be necessary.

Nope but i hope its a mix of random matches. Like the draft type machine where anyone can fight anyone. Wild card? I dunno just my guess.
