The unholy alliance of Randy Orton & Bray Wyatt dethroned Heath Slater & Rhyno to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Luke Harper was later sanctioned as champion as well by SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan, allowing the entire Wyatt Family to defend the titles under the Freebird Rule.

It's interesting we currently have two three-man tag team champions.

I do hope they use Harper in more matches than Woods currently participates in.

I totally agree it'll be fun to see if Harper and Orton can coexist when defending the belts together.

I thought that too, but then WWE only said Orton and Wyatt were Champions at first.

They didn't make Harper official until after SmackDown Live.

Always thought the Freebird rule was fucking stupid. The people who won the belts should defend it. Just cause someone is in the stable, why should they be allowed to defend?

Anyway, I'm a fan of Harper so it should be interesting regardless.

Being allowed to use the Freebird Rule used to be rare as well. The Shield was one of the greatest three-man units ever and WWE didn't recognize Dean Ambrose as being a Tag Team Champion after Rollins and Reigns won the Titles.
