So...I have way too much time on my hands right now...with that said...
This is my Top 15 WWE Creative Choices I'd Like To See In 2017.
1). Becky Lynch joins The Wyatt Family & turns Heel:
No...I don't want Becky to be Sister Abigail...but I do believe Becky's true
path to success lies in her turning heel...and what better way to turn her
heel by allying her with Bray & Co.
It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to write this in a simple way. Bray
(perhaps after Randy Orton has betrayed him) turns his attention to Becky
(perhaps after she fails to recapture the Women's Championship) and says he
understands her pain...her misfortune...her loneliness. He recounts to her
all the times she has been betrayed and attacked by those she once called
Friends (Paige, Charlotte, Natalya) He tells her that now she has lost her
title, her status, her purpose...and it won't be long before she is once
again forgotten as "the man you can not see" pulls some strings and his own
personal "Diva" gets a new shiny blue accessory.
(You've heard the way Bray talks)
Bray promises her something she has never had since arriving in the "land of the
free" and that is a family. Those who will truly support her and do anything they
can to help her.
Of course this story would play out over the course of a couple of months...and
be a very slow burn...but if done right...it could work. Once Becky joins the Wyatts
her appearance could also slightly change. Perhaps Bray helps her embrace her Irish
heritage. She starts painting Celtic Runes on her face and body, the ends of her hair
are dyed white...she becomes more like a "Witch" embracing nature...the opposite of
her Steampunk look.
Perhaps she could even use the Banshee as inspiration for her new look and ring attire.

I only suggest this because I believe Becky needs a change and this would allow
her to develop as a performer and give her something new to work with.
Plus...I love the idea of a nasty, vicious and possibly unhinged Becky Lynch.
2). Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe & Asuka get drafted to the main roster:
I know that Nakamura & Asuka are amazing wrestlers...but...there is a language
barrier there. Now I personally don't care...but some in WWE might and Samoa Joe
should already be on the main roster. I would love to see all three of these
performers elevated to the main roster in 2017...and I know when they are...it
will really shake things up.
3). Cesaro, Sami Zayn & Neville get traded/drafted to SmackDown:
My reason is simple...these 3 deserve better than what they have been given on
RAW and SmackDown would give them the TV time and stories needed to show just
how talented they really are.
Now I understand that all 3 had a great night at RoadBlock: End of the Line
and Neville no doubt belongs with the Cruiserweights...but I'd still personally
rather see all 3 on SmackDown...and this is my list after all.
4). Big E Gets A Singles Push:
I personally believe that Big E has the charisma, speed, size, skill & power
to be a serious top line competitor in the WWE. There is little left for the
New Day to do...and you could always leave Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods as a
team...but I think its time for Big E to finally be set loose and start tearing
it up in the singles division.
5). Ronda Rousey signs with WWE Full-time and feuds with Charlotte:
Yeah...I want this. It would be huge for sports entertainment in general and
having Ronda feud with Charlotte would be the most logical move...unless of
course Asuka is on the main roster when Rhonda signs. I personally would
book a best of 3 series; a standard wrestling match, a "shoot" fight in an
MMA octagon and finally...a Hell in a Cell match to finish. Of course if the
feud with Charlotte works out...Ronda could no doubt move into a program with
Becky Lynch on SmackDown and perhaps have her main story line revolving
around which brand she's eventually signs with. This would allow her to pop up
on both shows and act as a rating booster for both.
And before you start screaming at me...yes I understand that the UFC is real
and in "reality" Ronda could break Charlotte & Becky into pieces and then rip
those pieces off...but in a controlled environment...I believe that Charlotte or
Becky & Ronda could tell a great story that would attract a much needed boost to
rating and pay-per-view buy rates.
6). Mickie James...A 7 Time WWE Champion:
While I'm always going to scream at the WWE to push the newer and younger talent...
there would be something special about Mickie James becoming the RAW or SmackDown
Women's champion. M.J is from a different era of the WWE and the fact she held the
original Women's championship and the Divas title means she could be the first and
only woman to ever hold the 3 main women's championships in the history of the WWE.
7). WWE Signs the Broken Hardy Family; Feud/Alliance with The Wyatts:
Okay...so part of me knows that a Character like Broken Matt Hardy could be ruined by
signing with the WWE...but...I'd still like to see not only Matt & Brother Nero back
in the WWE...but Reby Sky, King Maxel, Señor Benjamin & Vanguard 1 would all be most
necessary for the full "Broken" experience.
8). Rusev...Universal Champion:
I'm sure many will laugh at this...but I truly believe Rusev should be elevated
to the top tier of the WWE during 2017 and he should be given a run with the
Universal title. I mean...they could do a lot worse than Rusev right?
9). Less Pay-Per-Views:
I don't think we need more than 12 per year...and while I'm here...
this would be my list.

Elimination Chamber
Wrestlemania
Backlash
Extreme Rules
Money In The Bank
SummerSlam
Hell In A Cell
Battleground
Survivor Series
TLC
And the last one my list would be...
10). The Return of the King of the Ring Tournament & Pay-Per-View:
I always loved the King of the Ring tournament and it provided a great way to push
mid-card wrestlers to the next level. There are many WWE performers who could benefit
from the return of this classic pay-per-view and its also a way to elevate a wrestler
without having to put a title on them. Bray Wyatt, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Big E,
Braun Strowman, Cesaro, Neville and Luke Harper would all benefit greatly if one of
them was to be crowned King of the ring.
11). More "Division" Interaction:
Just because there are "divisions" doesn't mean the rosters have to appear
divided. A little more interaction between the Main, Women's and Cruiserweight
divisions would help with character development and possible team up/matches
never seen before. Let try and keep it fresh WWE...mix it up a bit.
WWE seem to be headed in the right direction with this as there has been more
division interaction in late 2016...but they need to keep that going in 2017.
12). Enzo & Big Cass dominate the RAW Tag Team Division:
The New Day need to pass the torch...and I can think of no better team than
Enzo & Cass. They have already proven that they have the in-ring talent and
charisma to be champions...so give them the belts and let them run with it.
And of course you could always draft Carmella to RAW to help them out.
Of course this all depends if Big Cass is given a singles push...which I also
want to see...but I think it would be a shame not to let Enzo & Cass establish
themselves as the top tag team on RAW first.
13). Sasha Banks Becomes The "Actual" Boss & turns Heel:
So this one is just a stupid idea I had...but if Mick Foley is eventually
fired as the General Manager of RAW...I'd like to some how see Sasha Banks
get the job. I know it sounds stupid...but Sasha has the fan support and
the "gimmick" to actually pull this idea off. Of course...this could also be
a way to turn Sasha heel by making her "gal pals" with Stephanie McMahon and
have her use her power to torment all the other women on RAW...but again...one
thing at a time. Either way...I want the Legit Boss to be the Actual Boss.
14). Baron Corbin Destroys & Dominates:
Seriously...its time to push Baron and elevate him to the next level. He has a
nasty character, size and power, brutal entrance music and a fantastic finishing
move. WWE...cut the leash and let the lone wolf finally hunt some worthy prey.
15). Emma(lina) Conquers The RAW Women's Division:
Yes...I'm Australian...Yes...I'm being totally bias...Yes...I believe the RAW
Women's division has no variety or focus outside of Charlotte & Sasha. I would
love nothing more than for WWE to "pull the trigger" and push the lovely Emma(lina)
to highest possible spot...for her to become the RAW Women's Champion.
And that's it...my wishful thinking list for 2017. Will any of these happen? It would be
awesome to see...but I don't hold out much hope. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
