they probably milked that interview for a million different articles but at one point he was arguing that the ICE murderer was justified and literally got someone to play the video on a computer for them to watch together and got super uncomfortable. Clearly the only video he saw was whatever edited version Fox News is playing

Three Minnesota federal prosecutors resigned over the Justice Department’s push to investigate the widow of a woman killed by an ICE agent and its reluctance to investigate the shooter, according to people with knowledge of their decision.

Joseph H. Thompson, who was second in command at the U.S. attorney’s office and oversaw a sprawling fraud investigation that has roiled Minnesota’s political landscape, was among those who quit Tuesday, according to three people with knowledge of the decision.

Mr. Thompson’s resignation came after senior Justice Department officials pressed for a criminal investigation into the actions of the widow of Renee Nicole Good, the Minneapolis woman killed by an ICE agent last Wednesday.

Mr. Thompson, 47, a career prosecutor, objected to that approach as well as to the Justice Department’s refusal to include state officials in investigating whether the shooting itself was lawful, the people familiar with his decision said.

Michigan CEO Resigns After Calling ICE Protesters ‘Terrorists’

Jayden Scott, CEO of Harmony Investment Group in Troy, Michigan, resigned after video showed him yelling at anti-ICE protestors in Minneapolis, calling them “terrorists.”

Jayden Scott, who the Detroit Free Press first reported is the founder of Harmony Investment Group, said in a Saturday post on LinkedIn he resigned from the Troy, Michigan, company because of recent developments in the United States and differing opinions between him and its Board of Directors.

During an anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement rally in Minneapolis after the killing of Renee Good, Scott was seen in a video repeatedly telling protesters through a megaphone, “We executed one of you yesterday,” urging them to keep their hands to themselves or “you’re going to get hurt today.”

Scott looked into a camera and shouted, “no one can stop what is coming,” calling for more “patriots” to come to Minnesota, which has become the epicenter of the anti-ICE movement.

Michigan news outlet MLive.com reported Scott, who founded Harmony Investment Group in 2022, previously appeared as a counterprotester during a “No Kings” protest in Bay City, Michigan.

President Donald Trump said in a Thursday post on Truth Social that he would invoke the Insurrection Act if Minnesota politicians "don’t obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job."

"I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State," he wrote. "Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT."

The Insurrection Act, a rarely used 1807 law, gives the president the authority to deploy the military domestically without congressional approval. Last year, Trump repeatedly floated invoking the Insurrection Act in order to federalize National Guard troops.
