I think he'd make a great cruiserweight, he could be the Randy Orton of the cruiserweight division, it would give him experience for if he breaks out of the mid-card and it would give him a chance to perfect his sleeper instead of applying it on big men like kane and it not effecting him.

Randy Orton's gimmick is good but no one else could handle it, it is a one time gimmick imo. I think more Christian type faces would be awsome (but you can't just mimick it, too many of one type of gimmick would be lame too).

LMAO, what? Pretty sure someone like Sheamus could handle it. Both of them are big heels, though Orton gets cheers when he is meant to get boos. I think Orton has a slight edge with the gimmick because he's better at 'getting into people's heads'.

Orton is good at what he does but it's beyond boring at this point. Same old bland shit.

Why not?

I'm a big fan of Orton, he's my favourite on the current roster, but his gimmick isn't really that amazing. He's just a really mean, intense character. He does a great job at really getting into the role but it's not like his gimmick hasn't been done before. I think, if done right, Sheamus could get pretty close to the gimmick and start getting into people's heads as much as Orton does.

I still can't see it, but I can see Vance Archer with a Randy type gimmick, well actually that's pretty much what he has already, get him a decent move set and your sorted with him.

You never answered why you can't see it......I don't think it's impossible for Sheamus to at least get fairly close to being another Orton. I'm not saying he'd be at the exact same level as Orton but Sheamus has already shown he can be a heel and get heat so he has that much on his side.

It's not about being a great heel I'm not doubting that he is but I always imagine him as a beastly type figure in the WWE, that's how he's been built to date and I think that he will always carry off that character, I can't really explain why any more than that, I just can't see it happening. Again I see Vance Archer taking on that gimmick.

Kinda agree with maty619 a gimmick like ortons would suit Archer well. Also he's not a shit wrestler as he proved while in tna as Lance Hoyt.
