Not the greatest way to start off the Series with the Carolina Juggernaut of a Team in Game 1. I was switching between Game 1 and the Sixers vs Celtics but they looked gassed and utterly confused to what the Hurricanes were doing on both sides on the Ice. The Hurricanes have been off for a Week and you could see them having more juice throughout the Game. Hopefully they can scoop up a victory in Game 2 they need to respond that is for damn sure.

This might be me coming off as a blowhard, but hear me out: If the Wild can somehow get past Colorado, I think they become the heavy favorites to win the Finals. I just don't see any team beating them, not even their rivals in Vegas.
Carolina I think is a problem. Personally

I realize we're not the best team but they systematically destroyed us, extremely tight d and very disciplined team. They are scary

It's one thing to get smacked by the Hurricanes in Game 1 but to lose a fucking Overtime Game when you were up 2 scores and can't hold the lead and you had a double digit lead on Shots in OT this one hurts even more. Must WIN Game 3!

The Hurricanes are up 3-1 in the third period. They haven't lost in the postseason and it doesn't look like they'll start losing tonight.

Whether or not the Flyers can somehow pull a miracle and win this Series they sorely need help on the Power Play among other things. The Canes are just a better Team hopefully they get it fixed in the Offseason but the future is bright for them going forward.

According to multiple sources, Dylan Larkin recently requested a trade from Detroit.
There’s a lot to unpack here. First, should mention that no one would comment. Not Larkin, not agent Pat Brisson, not Detroit Red Wings executive vice-president and GM Steve Yzerman.

Second, Larkin’s involvement in the trade market is massive. He has a full no-trade clause both this season and next, so his control over the situation does not change July 1. He’s a top-line centre in a league desperate for centres, so there’s going to be a ton of interest. His play at the 4 Nations and Olympics was stellar. That’s going to excite potential trade partners.
