I'm glad he made the right call to retire to become a broadcaster. Him being a HOF'er, that's gonna be a tough call to make because the past couple seasons has been less than spectacular. But, that doesn't take away of how efficient he's been throughout his career, and the fact that he's a Super Bowl champion.
Things might of not gone so great for him once he left the Seahawks but he went to two SBs and if the Seahawks ran the ball in one of them late he would of had two Super Bowl wins on his belt.
From what I heard where they are going next is about 30 to 50 Minute or so away but I imagine that is a going to be fun Traffic wise during Gamedays. The Taxes are lower over there as well in Indiana still I wonder how the fanbase for the Bears truly feels on this one.
I've been wanting to talk about the Bears situation for a while now. This is greed on the part of team ownership. And it's drastically different than the New York teams playing in New Jersey. Chicago has the second best public transit system in the U.S. Within a mile of Soldier Field there are two regional train routes, three local train routes, and multiple bus routes. Depending on where exactly they build the new stadium there is maybe one regional train running once every 90 minutes on weekends. No bus service to Chicago, just within the Indiana communities. That's going to force more people to drive. So the team, local governments, and other private companies will cash in big from parking fees.
I want to add in something political to this but I'll put it in spoilers in case people don't want to read about politics here.
The governor of Indiana thinks that this is going to guarantee him a re-election win. He currently has a lower approval rating than Trump.
