I'm really questioning why I subscribed to Prime just to watch these races when the whole time its been Hamlin, Hamlin, Hamlin, Hamlin, Hamlin..... Thank goodness next weeks race will be a different type of track. Maybe it will break Hamlins momentum.

Chris Buescher signs a multi-year deal with RFK Racing.

Wood Brothers Racing has announced that Jesse Love will race full-time in the 21 car in 2027.

The only reason why I care about the Jesse Love news is that this now opens up a spot for another driver at RCR for the O'Reilly Series. Actually, two spots because I assume that Austin Hill will be in that 33 cup ride full time next year. Maybe Nick Sanchez can secure one of those spots. That guy unfortunately hasn't had a favorable 2026 after losing his earlier ride.

Speaking of Austin Hill. He has been cleared to race for both Cup and O'Reilly series this weekend. Apparently there is a rule that prevents a full time driver of either series to run the other race at the naval base but given the situation that RCR has after Kyles unfortunate passing NASCAR gave them a pass, which I don't see any issue with. Hills not going to win the cup race this weekend regardless. Let him have seat time.
