That's one of the reasons, but who cares. I love Elliott and I'm glad he won, so the haters can cry all they want.

Then of course Kyle Busch clears himself and wants to be mad at John Hunter. Maybe don't run across someone's nose dumbass.

Ill take the Chase Elliott win for sure. 5th at Texas is solid for Buescher. Suarez gets another solid Texas finish. Larson on the other hand having a completely bad race was unusual.

Truck race may actually be my favorite race of the weekend.

After going back to seeing when Kyle Busch made contact with JHN, a lot of it is probably frustration over the lack of success and I get being frustrated but Kyle has to be smarter than to drive his car in to JHN to ram him in to the wall like that. Regardless of whats been going on between them before. Kyle was tapping in to his younger days.

Kyles explanation for why he did that still doesn't excuse it either and I don't really buy it being some accident. Kyle knows that if a car is up close to the wall they don't have to clear themselves to the driver below.

So at one time JHN drove for Kyle Busch in the Truck Series....and now Kyle Busch gets heated with JHN on the track, trying to wreck him. All of this doesn't make Kyle look good at all. Yes, JHN has struggled in the cup series and he probably has made bad moves on the track but that was a bad look for a veteran driver.

I'd take a champion driver over a driver that hardly wins with a personality go watch comedians if that's what your looking for i watch racing to see good drivers

See I'm a mix of both. I'm not going to just not like driver because they can't win. But I don't need them to have some over the top personality. I like Chase because he’s an Georgia boy, and seems like a good dude. Even if he wasn't winning I still would. Winning just makes it more fun is all.

The best outcome to me is a driver winning who has an interesting personality but they don't have to be over the top. That's part of the charm with some of the drivers in NASCAR that have gotten more recognition than other drivers at times. Their personalities, whether they have won races or not.

Winning is the goal, but I also want to be entertained and if a winless driver is interesting to me ill support them. A driver can win 50 races and still not be interesting or entertaining enough for me or even for the sport.

Edit: I should say that I don't dislike drivers with little outgoing personality. I like the Ryan Blaneys, Chase Elliotts, Christopher Bells, etc. and they appear to be likable drivers overall to support but I also would prefer to see more passion, more emotion, more grit, more anything. It's the type of thing that sports in general feeds off of the most. I was interested in AJ Allmendinger when he was starting out in NASCAR racing for Red Bull and I didn't know much of his personality back then. I just thought that it was interesting that he came from a different background and was trying NASCAR. There just has to be that extra "hook" to connect me to.
