I remember watching this back inn the day and thinking it was one of the best ECW rip-offs out there. I'd watch it Monday nights right after Raw ended. It was my first view of C.M. Punk (And his early feud against Raven that they took all over the indies and TNA), Paul London and others. I wish I could've gone to one of the live shows (Especially since they where only 10 bucks).

I also remember the Sabu Vs. La Parka matches (R.I.P to both of them).

And of course, there's Terry Funk's feud with Steve Corino and The Extreme Horseman.

Pretty sure that's not the one who died, video says LA Park, who's very much alive still.

If you watch the video, Joey Styles calls him "La Parka" and "The Extreme Chairman".
Yeah he use to have the name, he changed it in 2003. This match is 2002.

I got into MLW during covid era. First group that I liked the dynasty Hammerstone, MJF and Eichard Holliday. They had something about them and were so cohesive as an unit , all their own roles. MJF was the stand out star of the group. Then a year or so he was signed by aew.

I'm hoping Hammer stays injury free . Personally he's exactly what wwe look for in new talent and he is perfectly suited to wwe.

Then Jacob Fatu was the biggest star in MLW. He had that special talent thats hard to find in amy promotion. What one call the IT facor. Great in ring, tons of charisma amd cut incredible promos. I've seen nearly all his old work amd haven't missed any of his appearances in wwe.

Penta v Fenix feud was insane . Had everything and the some in their matches. Now thet are recognised as integral part of tje roster, especially penta. Made more money in a month then he dis in year with merch sales alone.

Because he was La Parka in WCW. He lost the ability to use that name when AAA gave the gimmick to someone else.
