You snapped my boy. My favorite thing about Dominion was the presentation, how you balanced the full matches and segments with highlights, had the story develop throughout the show with each passing segment. Very well done. The writing also had a very cinematic tone. The foreshadowing. The flashback. The way you set up the main event was truly brilliant I thought and then you put in your foot in it on the main event itself, exceptionally written on god. The evolving Bullet Club story is wicked. Music and aesthetic is on point. Keep doing your thing big dawg.

Dark Alley in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a dark alley in the throws of one of Tokyo's most populated wards, stands Kazuchika Okada. Draped in a Bullet Club cloak and a distinct dark aesthetic that was certainly not present from his previous tenure within the company. The scene is documented by what seems to be a handheld camcorder of yesteryear. Okada appears cool, calm, and collected before he begins his address.
OKADA:
"The Alleyways.... these alleyways is where I have been for some time. It is a place I have learned to grow comfortable with. Hidden from the majority of the populace. There is solace in the alleyways. There is also darkness.
What people fail to realize is that the city is dependent on it's alleyways. It is the connector of society, community, infrastructure.
I built my community within the alleyways. I found it easier to talk within the silence of the alley, than it is within the bustle of the big crowd. Yet the murmurs can turn into a roar louder than any noise that crowd can make.
Forget innuendo, forget poetry, forget symbolism. I am here to break a system that does not know it needs breaking. Around two years ago, I came up with a plan to usurp. To conquer. and.... to destroy.
Because to me, Professional Wrestling is sacred. Professional Wrestling is sport. Professional Wrestling is violence. Professional Wrestling is not politics.
They built their thrones in back rooms..... and I will destroy them all.
I hand selected the five other men within my group. They are killers. They believe in me. They believe in my mission.
They are the bar that will be set within Professional Wrestling.
Okada grabs a New Japan flyer off a wall in the alley. He takes out a lighter and lights it aflame.
I will drag their kingdom into my fire, and when the smoke clears, only those strong enough to endure it will be left standing.
For I am the Anti-Christ of Professional Wrestling, Okada Kazuchika."
The camera fades to static.
God, I love your writing. Awesome promo here from Okada, perfectly outlining the mission, and the burning of the NJ flyer is some nice imagery to. Really good stuff. I think he works as the last member too.
On another note, I did read Dominion and really enjoyed it. Writing was crisp and booking seemed solid. I know we're moving away for it but with members still to be revealed, it still very much felt like we were setting foundations in here. The Shibata match was dope too. Foundations feel set now, and it has been done tremendously well. I can't wait to see what's next.
