When I was in Spain, there was this fucking ginormous grasshopper swimming in the pool with me. I thought it was dead so I went to push it under the water with my goggles (lol) and then it just swam back up and jumped (FROM THE WATER) towards me. Fuck bugs.

Another fun fact about that exact grasshopper: My brother (8 at the time) caught it in a cup and I told him to put it under water and hold it there, so we did and we left it for like 2 minutes thinking it'd drown by now. Then we left the pool, the cup floated to the top again, it got out the cup and jumped out the pool to the grass and I swear he looked at us like this:
