- The working idea this past week was to have a Team Kofi vs. Team Orton match under traditional Survivor Series rules at the Survivor Series pay-per-view later this month. The teams would be Kofi Kingston, MVP, Mark Henry and a partner vs. Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes and a partner.

A rumor going around was that the SmackDown creative team had been planning a Team Batista vs. Team Mysterio match also.

I agree with Benoit's Boner. 5 on 5 and Tag team elimination matches are better than 4 on 4.

Those late 80's tag team ones were great. WWE really should another one.

If Batista/Mysterio have one, I guess Mysterio team would be: Mysterio, Morrison, Matt Hardy, Finlay (if there is a 5th guy R-truth)

Batista: Batista, Cm Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Drew Mcintyre (5th Guy Eric Escobar or Kane)

for Orton/Kofi team the surprise 2 people would be: Orton side Sheamus and Kofi side Evan bourne or Primo. (depends if Series will have Evan Bourne Vs Miz vs Jack Swagger for the U.S. Belt).

But the question really is, Where does ECW really fit into this PPV. Christian Team Vs Regal Team??

Christian, Dreamer, Goldust, Hurricane/Shelton Benjamin, Yoshi Tatsu Vs Regal, Jackson, Kozlov, Burchill and Zack Ryder?

Yeah well...Bragging Rights essentially took away the purpose of Survivor Series. So now we'll have a bunch of people thrown into a feud that should have been one on one.

^^^Seems crazy to me that they don't appear to be interested in building upon he brand warfare vibe... Neither that nor the continuation of Jerishow/DX with each respective team heading up a team for 5-on-5 action.

Either could have provided a decent set-up to make the SS matches actually mean something.

Card-wise, s'all pretty predictable really and I can't honestly see ECW getting it's own 5-on-5 match which is a damn shame.

As for the idea of Team Rey vs Team Dave... IMO that shit's way too personal an issue to be, right off the bat, involving partners and other agenda's.

As I said before, they could have made the brand warfare thing seem more important if they continued it going into SS. Instead of making it seem like a big deal for 2weeks and then all of a sudden it's gone.

But on topic... Holy crap, Kingston's getting his own team. Didn't think I'd see that til a couple years. Is a coincidence that all on Kingston's team are black, and Orton's team is white? Fuck brand wars, this is race wars.

lol @ ECW being featured on a ppv card.

ECW won't find it's way onto this PPV, just like it hasn't in the past 3 months. But don't worry, whatever happens on ECW is bound to be better than whatever mess they'll make of this PPV.

Maybe they're flipping the concept a bit this year... It's not about the wrestler's 'survival', but the ongoing 'survival' of the enthusiasm of their vewiership.

How much you wanna bet the match quality would be >>>>>> than the RAW or Smackdown main event did.
