WWE would have never booked him properly. He would have been Umaga.

Umaga was booked awesome in his first year, he kinda of went crap after his Cena feud though.

Joe's new character is pretty awesome, hopefully it stays this way.

I agree, I was a huge Umaga fan when he first debuted but after he dropped the IC strap to Santino repeatedly he lost a head of steam and imo the nail in the coffin was the move to Smackdown.

Hopefully Joe doesn't suffer the same fate.

I do love this new Joe character, he's really coming into his own but like always I wish he would just lose a little weight. The natural look isn't bad but he's really just let himself go. Back around his debut in TNA he had the perfect look, if he drops this Nation of Violence junk and goes back to the SSM with this new personality he will be top heel in the company material.

It's not that big of a deal. He's always been overweight and its never affected his in ring work. The guy moves like a fucking X-Division star. If just for image sake then I'd say yeah, he needs to drop a few pounds. This isn't however WWE where guys need to be chiseled to be cared about.

Find a comic or card store with wrestling videos. I know there is one near me with racks upon racks of ROH stuff for really cheap.

Well, don't quote me on that..lol. But I know a lot of comic stores do carry some wrestling merchandise. There's this pretty cool wrestling store around where I used to live with tons of shit. Every once in a while they have some pretty big names around for signings. I met Cena, Batista, Matt n Jeff, Sunny, and a bunch of others there.
But anyway, yeah it's worth a try. I have a bunch of ROH videos I never got around to watching boxed up somewhere.

Cena was actually beyond nice. My friend and I chatted with him out back for over an hour after the actual signing was over. It wasn't like we were being annoying fans, he was actually talking out ears off...lol. There was a bar next door to the place and he said he would have loved to buy us a round if he didn't have RAW that night. Even if I'm not the biggest fan of his character (which I told him and he laughed and said 'yeah, most guys your age aren't) I would never say a bad thing about the guy personally. And seriously, TV doesn't do justice to how fucking big the guy is.

Batista was a bit cold and just kind of smiled and said what's up to people...kept it moving and dipped as soon as it was over.

Jeff (and no I'm not being an asshole) was drunk off his ass.

LOL, I wouldn't lie about shit like that.

A friend of mine trains for a local wrestling promotion (FTW). He does a lot of work for them and had gotten in tight. Balls Mahoney is currently their champ. Homicide comes down and wrestles all the time, and we drive him home after shows. Jake the Snake works show for them along with Sabu and occasionally Abyss who we had to pick up from the airport..lol.
Matt Striker also used to work security for their shows.
Some guy who used to work for them owns a Wrestling Store, that's where all the signings happen.

Also, Jerry Lawler is going to be working a few matches for them sometime this month.
