Sami has been one of the MVPs of this Scott D'Amore era renaissance for Impact. Seems like since he's returned, there hasn't been that much for him to do. Idk if there's interest in him from AEW or, even less likely, WWE... but it might be nice to see him in a new environment if the opportunity is there.

Sami has been with Impact for ages it feels like. The Impact Show or PPV without him would feel so weird to me at this point.

Agreed. His peak was 2011-getting signed too NXT. He was a workhorse for both PWG and CZW while also doing a lot of other indies. Much smaller and technical. His feud with Adam Cole during that time period was awesome.

I personally don't see it that way. He's prime wrestling age right now and has the ability to reinvent his character, so even if he hypothetically isn't ever gonna be the same quality of technical wrestler he was when he was younger, that doesn't mean that his best work as a whole can't still be in front of him.

I think his peak was a few years ago myself but I still think he is pretty good. I do think he probably gets into better shape if he wants to take a step upwards though, his look could use some polishing (he doesn't look as badass to me as he used to).

Has he peaked? Probably 2019-2020ish

But he’s still a guy that you can put in any role in AEW or Impact or New Japan and he fits.

So I don’t think he struggles for work
