First of all, just because the prospect of Cena/Rock is more appealing than Cena/Undertaker doesn't mean that Cena/Undertaker is a poor choice for a main event. In fact, it too is also an appealing match that could have a lot of good build.

Anyway, the aura of Cena/Rock will most likely not get anywhere near that of Hogan/Rock.

Also, I'm not understanding this "The Rock wasn't a good wrestler, he was a good ring psychologist" stuff. Wrestling is all about psychology. It's a mind game. It's an art that is designed to appeal to the audience. What the Rock did was just that. His selling as a face was absolutely top-notch, and his comebacks were the best of the best. It doesn't matter how big his MOVESET~ was. It matters how he used it. He could have had all the flashy MOVES~ of John Morrison, but the fact is that it was his storytelling that made him one of the greatest.

The Rock will do fine. It wont be 100% quality wrestling wise. Doesnt mean it wont draw to to the kids

Or to the adults. A Cena/Rock match is only appealing to children? Was Hogan/Rock only appealing to Attitude Era fans? Don't you think that people who grew up with Hogan weren't also attracted to that match. In fact, I think that they would have been MORE drawn to it, since it was finally Hogan coming back. This is the same way. The people who were teens in the 90's are now grown up, and they would get to see The Great One return. Get off your IWC high horse and quit thinking that everything involving Cena is only appealing to kids.

don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Cena/Taker in a heartbeat, not breaking kayfabe.... but ultimately it just shouldn't happen. Putting the best face in the business vs the undefeated WM king, and having the WWE put Taker over Cena is sad. I just don't want that to happen. And if Cena wins, all the Taker fans will be "mad" cause he ended his streak.

Off the forums, it would probably the biggest match of Cena's career, win/lose, and we'd love to see it. But I know I speak for more than half of this forum when I say Taker/Cena is going to fail.

Cena would lose nothing by losing clean to Undertaker at Wrestlemania. He'd be the massive underdog, and wouldn't win. Plenty of main eventers have lost clean to him at Mania and haven't lost any credibility because of it.

That alone is a reason alone for the match to actually happen.

Jobbing your best face to an old man who could barely last more than 10 minutes more won't hurt your credibility? Yeah right.

Considering nobody outside the IWC sees The Undertaker like that, and the IWC itself is already negative towards Cena, no, no it wont.

Besides, Taker will basically cripple himself to make the match the best it can. You know, he would take a break and visit the surgeon afterwards.

No it won't. Cos Undertaker is still The Man in WWE. It's an honour to be against him at Wrestlemania. He doesn't even look that hurt in his matches. If you didn't read reports about his knees/hips, you'd be none the wiser.

Plus, he can obviously wrestle through the pain when needed. Him vs Michaels was fantastic, even with both their injuries. When needed, Undertaker can suck it up and be at his best for 20+ minutes.

How can taker vs cena out do hbk vs taker? I mean if cena kicks out of the tombstone would you be surprised? I would not cause we know its going to go back and forth. After kicking out of 3 or 4 finishers then its gets interesting. Taker if he does fight cena will have to carry his ass for a good 25 mins. Id much rather taker vs Jericho. I think Cena vs taker will be horrible.

Cena kicks out of any damn thing. If Yokozuna did the BANZAI Drop on him he would kick out

Let me ask this. If this was happening two years ago, would there be any problem with this match?

Cena/Taker.

Taker was almost in the same condition a couple of years ago, and Cena is still at the top of his game. Cena is pretty damn underrated in his skills department, and come on, nothing screams headliner with the current roster like

UNDERTAKER/CENA - WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP VS STREAK WRESTLEMANIA 26.

It might as well have dollar signs for the s'

But it's not going to happen...

He's quit, retired, left wrestling, all that.
