Big News for ROH they will now begin to start streaming Live shows on Gofightlive.tv THis is a big step for the company, and the details aren't very clear yet. But this is def. a step in the right direction, imo.

We were very excited to announce that on December 19th, “Final Battle 2009â€￾ will emanate LIVE on iPPV from New York! ROH and GoFightLive are working together to bring this spectacle to anyone within earshot of a computer, as we will stream the final event of the year LIVE for the WORLD to see it! It is our pledge to offer a quality iPPV experience, with a traditional 3 camera shoot, LIVE commentary, and other special features! If you can’t be in New York on 12/19, have no fear! Reasonably priced at $14.95 (discounted to $12.95 for orders before 12/19), we have no doubt that “Final Battle 2009â€￾ will be well worth your money. Thanks to everyone who has placed an order already, and thank you to the incredible people at GoFightLive for making this a reality. We hope that this is the first of many more LIVE specials to come! For more information, check out www.gofightlive.tv and our official press release at http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=3086.

I'm pretty sure I paid about 15 bucks for their one PPV that got shown here in Canada and as much as watching a web cast of this would be cool, I can't help but feel slightly ripped off by the price. If I'm going to be sitting watching this on my lappy I don't want to pay the same price I paid to watch a PPV last year on my far better quality television screen.

True. Good point MS, and i was thinking the same thing, however those PPV's were 2 months old from the current storyline. So this mostly benefits the fans that follow ROH on a almost daily basis. If you pre-order it's only 13$. But i get what your saying. Even that is not that cheap for a stream.

Hopefully it works well for them.

I like the idea, but I'd like it more if it was a bit cheaper. Right now this is a much better route for them than PPV was.

If I were ROH I would make the first show free, they would get alot more people watching imo and draw in more new fans to see what the fuss is and whatnot, after that show they would have a few more guys like it and then next time they could make you buy it for $5 - $10 and most people would think its a decent price for it. Starting with $15 is bad I think because alot of people won't know what to expect, although I guess the majority watching would be big ROH fans who couldn't make the show live but still.
