I'll take RE9 over a remake of the Veromidca.

Also I don't think the new over the shoulder gameplay from the recent remakes would translate well in the corridors of the mansion or with the puzzles.

That's why remakes are remakes, so that the map can be changed to account for the POV.

I bet if they remade it they again gonna build in the original camera/control styles as easter eggs or unlockables. Like they did in Lost in Nightmares.

Like I said in the chatbox, I REALLY hope this means they'll release these versions for consoles. They already have RE1 on PS5 in their classics catalog but I've been waiting while for 2 and 3 to be released.

Also achievements would be nice.

That would be awesome if they added 2 and 3 to consoles.

So far, the remakes have been great (I know many hate RE3 remake but I enjoyed it), RE2 remake being the best one imo, I’m really hoping Code Veronica is on the table, that game could really use an update and I hope they improve Steve, make him a better character.

after beating both the remakes i actually like replaying RE3 more. it just seems like an easier more steady and linear experience to just coast along.

RE2 is still the better game of course.

From what I’ve seen, most of the hate for RE3 remake is cuz of the areas omitted but it really didn’t bother me, I still really liked the game. Nemesis was still a giant anxiety lol but I liked the improved Carlos.

I think they said the winters family story is over. Id be ok with an over the shoulder all star cast like 6 but better.
