NWA Showcase Thread

News Update:

The NWA sent out the following announcement today:


The National Wrestling Alliance's Wrestling Showcase series will have to wait another week for its return to the Dish Network's Colour Channel in terms of fresh episodes.

The NWA and Big Vision delivered the first four new episodes to the network this week, only for the network to realize they couldn't air the episodes as they were produced in High Definition. The network had chosen to receive the episodes in HD but realized upon receipt of them that they wouldn't be able to de-convert the first episode to their standard broadcasting levels in time for the planned debut. The NWA learned yesterday of the delay.

While this obviously took the winds out of the sails for all involved, it provides one more week for the company to promote the return of the series for those with Dish Network.
The new episodes will be the first airings from the company's Hollywood, California's studio wrestling show.

Whats everyone's opinion of the NWA Show?


I think its alright, but they no have no talent. They have a few guys, but they aren't marketing their talent very well imo. And why they need to be in HD, is beyond me. I can't think that many people tune in to watch anyways.

I do like how you can watch the showcases from their website. Thats a nice touch.

Adam Pearce rapes everyone on the show tbh. I think their booking could be better.. NWA from Hollywood! Will be the shit.

But idk atm, I haven't seen Blue Demon Jr. In action as the champ yet, but he's alright from what I've seen in the past.

Pretty good show with a new set and shit.


Pros:
The Skullcrushers are the shit
Adam Pearce is the shit on the Mic
Everything seems booked right, even the Young Bucks look to be in a feud with the NWA tag champs
The Crowd isn't dead
Cons:
Too many jobbers
Mr. Wrestling ? Ehh... Steve Corino.. how could you
No Blue Demon on the first show
Some more matches could help..


It was a pretty damn good show for a comeback.

I still haven't figured out why Adam Pearce isn't NWA Champ for the 3rd time. Blue Demon Jr. Sucks tbh. I have his promos, and he seems really, REALLY, lazy.

It's good to see Joey Ryan getting an NWA World Title Shot, but come on... wtf! It looks like NWA only feud is gonna be with the Skullcrushers/Young Bucks.

I think Bryan Danielson on the show would f'in own...

IDK, Brent Albright/ Boarder Patrol is alright.. but it really doesnt entertain me at all.

Either Albright or Pearce for the next NWA World Champ. Blue Demon Jr. can go to hell tbh.
