NO SECOND TNA GAME

Gamasutra.com is reporting that THQ has bought out the San Diego Midway Games studio. Because TNA's license and Unreal Engine Tech are not part of the terms of the sale, it will be necessary for a new deal to be struck before production can begin on a new TNA Impact game. It therefore appears at this point that production on the game will not be happening.

lol i actually saw a guy buy the first one 2 days ago at virgin stores. it was on sale for like 25$

Well as much as I see some people don't seem to care. I do really. I mean ok there first game might not have been great but hey its room for improvement. Even in this day and age where everything that can be used for a game makes it so it can be awesome first time games can still suck. I hope we some how see a second game from them to see how everything improves.

Just because that companys not going to pick up on it doesn't mean someone else won't. All they gotta do is keep putting on good shows and up ratings and someone will sign on to make there game.

Anyways, no, that's not it. TNA has shown it can't make money. Their PPVs and attendance numbers are really low, one has to wonder how full the Impact Zone would be should they charge and their buyrates are laughable.

Yeh, by 'fix' you mean 'completely re-build the game from scratch'.

I was patient with that game, and still hated it. Glad to hear there isn't currently a second in progress.

It was their 1st game after all. There's going to be problems with it. I'm a TNA fan and I say the game sucked. But there's good and bad to this. The good is that they seemed to want to hurry up and rush the next game, so now they can't do that. The bad, well there may not be another game at all.

Generally, but this past Thursday's show was fucking awesome.

That coming from me probably doesn't mean much, but I've been down on TNA lately and I think they're starting to improve. All of a sudden Eric Young, The British Invasion, Hernandez, and Matt Morgan are getting big pushes as the veterans share more of the spotlight. I like it.

as for the iMPACT! game, it was god awful, I don't want to bring back ANY memories of that piece of shit.
