NCAA Baseball and Softball Discussion Thread

ESPN and my Facebook feed are very concerned that UCLA lost their first game as this is apparently the first time a #1 overall seed has done so. I say it's freaking baseball. Nobody goes undefeated; that's why the format isn't a single elimination tournament.

The championship series for the ladies will be contested Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (if necessary) 7PM (8PM, for you snooty, East Coast types) and pits Texas against Texas Tech. These are the same two teams that made the championship series last year.

The men will have their two out of three game super regionals from Friday to Sunday.

Texas has defeated Texas Tech to claim their second consecutive softball national championship.

I like a good pitchers' duel, but the lead changes between USC and UNC (6-5 in the top of the 6th) have made this game quite entertaining.
