My Prediction for Game of the Year

If there was a prediction thread for guessing the game of the year, I'd pick this hands down.

I've played AC from the first game all the way through to Revelations. My main problem with the game is that it has failed to keep me as interested as the first, character wise. Altair was the best assassin, idc what anyone says. Ezio was not my favorite character. The only thing I liked from his saga was the story lines. I think they fucked up on Desmond's part more recently. Those little memory things weren't all that.

Also the games didn't feel that fresh. There were significant improvements from AC 1 to AC 2 but from there it was just minor adjustments and additions. Basically AC failing to make their games fresh has lowered my expectations for 3.

No offense people, but Halo4 is going to get game of the year, unless it is somehow a HUGE disappointment. Borderlands 2 is awesome, and madden will have a lot of people gunning, since this is the first time in godknowshowlong a sports game has actually upgraded more than roster and graphics. Most likely it will be Halo4.

Halo 4 is up in the air for me. It all depends on how good 343 adapts the game since Bungie isn't the one making this installment.

Bungie not making is = success IMO. This should be the same way they did the anniversary, except better graphics and an actual story used from the book. Either way, this game is going to be insanely successful, even if it is just another halo remake.
