Thank God this Movie ruled now I don't know what the Movie will make money wise but Story Wise, Action Wise, and Direction wise MK 2 blows away the first film. The Opening to this Film made me care about Kitana and seeing her journey and came to pass during the last part of the Movie which is what I wanna know how people feel on that. I loved them it's a risk but it made sense with what they created from the start. Cage was spot on throughout the film and I loved how it took time for him to find his confidence on what makes him Johnny fuckin Cage.

All the fights I thought were great and bloody as fuck. I knew Llu vs Kung was going to be great and it's still my favorite from this film and I wonder how that wraps up between the two in the next film. The ending got my ideas rolling in my Brain can't wait to see if they take it where I think it might go.

Maybe I'm a bit desensitized but I thought the movie wasn't particularly bloody compared to the games, except the last fatality, that one was glorious.

I thought it had the right amount of blood it starts off with Jared vs Khan and he had that man on his knees. The way he using the broken Sword into a Dagger and was using it to bring Khan to his knees was sweet. Even his death yes we saw it in the Trailers it was still brutal and his Wife and Daughter having to watch it. I think the Sequel will even more bloody especially if were talking about Revenants and being in the Netherrealm more.

Yeah I was actually very impressed with this movie. It does stupid fun the right way. Kitana’s story is actually quite emotional and Johnny Cage goes through a cool character arc too. It’s also really funny and most of the jokes land. The fights are also really well done.

Sure the plot is simple and a lot of characters don’t really have shit to do lol but it doesn’t matter when the rest of the movie is kicking ass.
